How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewExcellent comms with manager Great and friendly on site manager Kind bottle of wine gesture at end of stay Opposite excellent taverna Kids loved pool
Confusion / cross wires over complimentary breakfast which is no longer offered. Walk down into Agios Prokopios felt a little unsafe for children as no pavements (not the fault of Mitos Suites though!)

Verified reviewGreat location and really friendly helpful staff. Room was really clean with great pool.
As no breakfast is provided and nowhere on site to get meals it would have been useful to have more provisions in the room to self cater e.g. crockery, cutlery and a bigger fridge.

Verified reviewLocation was good, short walk down to the beach and town. Room was very clean, and cleaned everyday. Travel cot was new and in good condition. The pool area was great and again exceptionally clean. Staff on site were friendly and helpful, organising things like taxis.
Slightly more self catering facitlies would be helpful and maybe a bigger fridge. Nothing else.

Verified reviewWe booked our annual family holiday for 7 nights what was advertised on booking.com as a 2bedroom Deluxe Family Suite (see attached screenshot clearly showing Bedroom1 and Bedroom2), so when we arrived and were shown a room with only 1 bedroom with en-suite bathroom we said that we must have been shown the wrong room. We were invited to ring the hotel owner who literally shouted down the phone at us for 10 minutes that we had not read the details correctly, we were in the wrong, the beds in the living room meant that it was a 2 bedroom etc etc. We were pretty shocked by the whole experience but as there was no-one else there (apart from poor Christian the maintenance guy) we went out and tried to have a good day. The next morning there was a 'manager' on site, we spoke to her, she said that it was OUR interpretation that it only had one bedroom and that the beds in the living room - because they were not sofa beds - meant that it was 2 bedrooms. She said they could do nothing else for us. We asked to check out as we had found online another apartment with 2 bedrooms down the road, she said we could check out but there would be no refund for the remaining nights. She then told me (whilst swearing blind that the Living Room was a Bedroom) that they had changed the description of the apartment on booking.com to a 1 bedroom with Living Room - which is what it should have been in the first place!! She then called the owner who came over to the apartment, again he said very angrily this was our fault and that I needed to 'recognise my responsibilities'! When we asked to check out with a refund for the nights we had left - he asked if we were joking and walked out. He then sent me an abusive text message saying that we had been disruptive and he would take legal action and get the local authorities involved against me if I said anything else. It was quite scary.
The apartment was described as a Deluxe Family Suite, in reality it was an average 1 bedroom apartment. The bathroom was pretty grim, see photos, the fridge was a tiny hotel room style fridge so there was no means of having a iced cold drink around the pool - even if you did have more than two glasses or cups - which we didn't even though there were four of us. When I asked about this I was told to get a drink from the hotel next door!! There was nobody on site in the week we were there, other than the times I have described above, although we were actually quite glad about this as we felt threatened and intimidated. Although in the beginning the owner said he would pay for a meal for us, we never heard anything else about this, and we paid around £500 more than we should have done for a comparable 1 bedroom apartment. This is not a hotel, it is simply a room with access to a pool. Whilst the pool is kept clean, there isn't any space around it and the sunbeds are cheap ones which are fixed and do not adjust in anyway so they are so uncomfortable anyone round the pool only stayed for around half an hour. Travelling with 2 teenage daughters and all their paraphernalia it was really important to us that we had 2 bedrooms but as it was we made do for the week we had absolutely no choice, and when I emailed booking.com they just emailed the complaint straight to the hotel who said they did not recognise the complaint. I have NEVER experienced such downright dishonesty and unpleasantness whilst travelling. When I was looking through the reviews I found another one where the owner has previous of yelling at his guests if they have a complaint. Take my advice and stay elsewhere, Agios Prokopious is a gorgeous place to holiday and we actually had a great time having lovely food and enjoying the surrounding area and beaches. NB I also have a live complaint with booking.com about this as it is false advertising.
Dear Fazackerley, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we are truly sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations, we feel it’s important to respond point-by-point and clarify some serious inaccuracies in your review. 1. Room layout: The suite you reserved is correctly and clearly described on Booking.com as having one bedroom separated from the living room by a door — a configuration that allows for privacy while accommodating multiple guests. The beds in the living room are full-size beds, not sofa beds. When we kindly pointed this out and showed you the listing, you replied, “perhaps it’s their error”, referring to Booking.com — a global platform with strict listing standards. 2. Bathroom and minibar: The suite listing clearly states that there is only one bathroom, and that there is no bar or large refrigerator. This is fully disclosed prior to booking. For this reason, when you asked for a drink, we simply suggested that you could purchase one from the nearby hotel. 3. Sunbeds and pool area: The photos of our sunbeds and pool area on Booking.com are current and accurate. You mentioned that “no one stayed at the pool for more than 30 minutes” — yet, how can that be the case when your own daughters spent long, enjoyable hours sunbathing by the pool nearly every day of your stay? This statement simply does not reflect the reality of the experience you and many others have had at our property. 4. Staff presence and professionalism: Your statement that “no one was around all week” is simply false. As stated in the listing, we operate a virtual reception — a model we clearly communicate in advance. However, we also have three team members present daily on-site. Reducing their presence to “no one” is not only untrue, but disrespectful to their hard work. • Christian, whom you mentioned, is consistently praised in reviews for being incredibly helpful. • Magia is regularly described as warm, friendly, and solution-oriented. • Ezatt receives ongoing praise for his meticulous attention to cleanliness. These are not generic compliments — they are real, consistent guest feedback over the years. 5. Verbal threats and conduct: Unfortunately, we must also address your hostile behavior. You were the first to issue threats, stating that you were a travel agent and that you would involve the police. This was said directly to Magia, and she experienced it as deeply upsetting and inappropriate. While we aim to handle all disagreements with grace, there is a clear line between a complaint and intimidation. 6. Refund request and review intent: You had booked a non-refundable stay. This was clearly stated at the time of booking and on your confirmation. While we understand you were dissatisfied, there is no contractual basis for a refund. It is unfortunate that instead of acknowledging this, you have chosen to post a retaliatory 1-star review. Was truly everything — location, staff, cleanliness — worthy of a minimum rating? 7. Goodwill gesture: We still tried to improve your experience by offering a complimentary dinner and other alternatives. You declined all of them. 8. Enjoyment of the area: We’re glad to hear that you appreciated Agios Prokopios and the surrounding beaches and restaurants. It is a beautiful and vibrant destination that we’re proud to be part of. In closing, we would like to state that in over 10 years of operating Mitos Suites, we have never faced such a situation nor such unreasonable demands. We remain committed to providing hospitality based on transparency, honesty, and mutual respect. Warm regards, The Mitos Suites Team

Verified reviewLocation is good, walking distance to Agios Prokopios. Spacious rooms with good facilities for families.
Parking is 100metres down the road at a public car park. Was greeted by a staff member upon arrival for check in but no bar open for any drinks or snacks. Hardly saw any staff. Bathroom does not have a shower screen. Would have originally had a tub which has been removed and turned into a shower. Water goes all over the bathroom which is not ideal for a family group. Can be slippery and messy. Overall a reasonable place for families, clean and basic accommodation.

Verified reviewLoved how spacious the room was and that there were two rooms. Loved the breakfasts so much and the lovely and generous gifts. Zoe was a wonderful hostess. It was really quiet at night thanks to good sound proofing. Loved watching the sunrise on the balcony and listening to the farm animals waking up. We didn’t use the pool but it looked great. And the nearby beach and restaurants were wonderful.
The location was only okay. A 10 minute walk from the beach. You had to walk on a tough road to get to the public parking lot. The sea view was nice (as were the balconies and hot tub) but lots of wires in the view and some run down buildings. Not the hotel’s fault at all - just something that took away from the experience a bit. Also the bathroom had a cut out in the wall for a jacuzzi tub but it meant there was not total privacy.

Verified reviewSmall boutique hotel, walking distance too main area of town. Daily breakfast was made on site, it varied daily and my kids ages 5, 8 & 10 never complained about it. The ladies who did breakfast were also the housekeepers. Every day our room was left immaculate. Kids loved the pool and having the bus stop out the front and a tavern across the road were very handy!
I don’t understand why there is a need for a jacuzzi. It’s weather is hot outside. The jacuzzi water is hot. It’s not enjoyable sitting in hot water when it’s 35c outside. Not our thing and without it the balcony could have a better use.
MANY THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS AND FOR YOUR STAY AT MITOSSUITES . WE ARE GRATEFUL!! WE WISH YOU AND YOUR BEAUTIFUL FAMILY THE BEST WARM REGARDS MICHALIS-STELIOS
