Buffet food served in the main restaurant for dinner, is just ok. Have had much better at other all inclusive hotels. Food in some of the restaurants was not as good as the previous time we stayed a couple of years ago.

Our premium room was not very clean, dusty floor, table and the wardrobe including the hangers. We called the reception to have the floor cleaned, as we had a toddler with us, they send someone but It didnt help much. Every they the cleaning was so so, my hair stayed on the floor every day until I removed them… The food is just OK, the main restaurant and the ala carte are not very food for 5star experience. Seeing the italian food being served in this hotel was sad and the eggs benedict, let me show you, definitely not the brunch you see on promo pictures of the hotel. They have app for everything, but bot for ordering food or drinks on the beach or by the private or main pool. So having private pool is nice but the only way to order something is to hunt a personálu which shows up very rarely or call the room service and pay the fee. Even on the beach you better go stand to the que to get the drink if you want to have it soon.

Nice mostly renovated hotel, cool style, nice beach, which could be kept cleaner of some hotel great rubbish. Renovated parts of the hotel were nice, lots of fun for the kids. Accesibility of the bars and snack food was good. Nice main pool and also the private pools. Extra points for the hotel staff renting a vacuum cleaner to our room for a whole stay to be able to clean my toddlers nose.

The Italian restaurant was not my favourite and it sometimes took a little long to get drinks at busy times of the day.

Beautifully presented hotel. Large comfortable rooms with lots of food and drink options available pretty much 24 hours per day. Overall staff were friendly and attentive. Special mention to Georgios at the beach bar for serving my beach beer everyday with a little free Greek lesson 😀

Wasn’t able to book with a couple of the restaurants on day one of arriving for a five day stay. Also the only restaurant that we did love was the Asian restaurant and it was really excellent.

Unfortunately, the hotel does not have a gym which was quite disappointing. They had a designated area by the tennis courts for free weights sessions in small groups. The hotel was also quite far from town and the buses do not come frequently. We ended up getting a cab which was a little pricey.

The hotel was beautiful and very clean. All the staff were lovely! My partner and I would like to give a special shout out to the bar staff near reception and the bar staff on the beach. They really warm and personable which always adds to the experience. They also know how to mix a good cocktail! There was always something to do at the hotel and the different food to choose from. We were quite spoilt for choice! Our personal highlights were the BBQ corner, the waffle station and the Taverna. On the warmer days of our stay, we were able to catch some sun on the beach and enjoy the view of the sea. The room was beautiful. It was cleaned daily and the mini bar was always restocked. The evenings were action packed - our room had a balcony so we would sit outside and enjoy the music playing downstairs. We also noticed that there were also activities for children running simultaneously so I would recommend Mitsis to all my friends and family with small children. All in all, it was a great stay and we would definitely come back!

Unfortunately we paid for a sea view, but were given a partial sea view. The food in the main restaurant was not upto par with the standards of the 4 other key restaurants. You are also only able to dine at each of the main restaurants once in a week, including the brunch.

The staff are polite and attentive, although service could be very slow on occasion. The food is hit or miss depending on which main restaurant that you dine at, but the Beach BBQ and Waffle and Crepe stations are incredible. There is no shortage of food options and we did not need to leave the resort for the majority of our stay. All inclusive is worth it but be sure to book main restaurants online in advance. The location is on the beach and main pool over looks the coast. Great location and views, and a 15 minute bus journey from Heraklion Airport.

Very minor complaint but the drinks have very few options that are non alcoholic without sugar (only Pepsi max and water). Would be great to have some sugar free sodas too. The other thing is that when I arrived all restaurant were already booked out for the duration of my stay. The buffet is great but I feel it’s unfair if you can’t explore other options you technically pay for. Overall a great holiday though!

I found dangerous that a life guard spent more time on his phone and tchit tchat than keeping an eye on the swimming pool and doing his job.... Secondly, one on the male animator (Water Polo activity) was good in walking like a bad boy, and doing his best to look good but never saw him doing the activity he was entitled to and when asking he always had a "good" excuse The Beach could have been cleaner , at least around the beach volley field, definitely some work to put there...

Friendly people and some staff people are amazing. Shoutout to Cristos, Kleana, Rosa, Katarina, Fabiola for their good mood and vibes during our stay! The hotel care well for the customers well being and if any issues it will be adressed ASAP by them. Highlight of the highlights for me is the breakfast that has FRESH orange juice and this is already bringing the rating up as it is often just a chemical mix. Variety of snacks and food available at anytime always served with a smile! Thank you Rinela staff!

Wish there were more seating and time slots for the private restaurants

We got a free upgraded room, after our flights were cancelled they were able to let us keep our room for another 2 days. Service and hospitality were above and beyond. Highly recommended can’t wait to come back again. Food at the private restaurants were delicious

There was a loud noise of water running through pipes that woke you up every morning around 7am this noise continued for about 15 - 20 minutes.

Amazing hotel! And what makes it so amazing is the people who work there. I travel a lot and a lot of hotels don’t have a heart but this one full filled with love to the guests. I have noticed that everybody tried so hard to do their job and they did it not because they must but because they love what they do. Reception guys everyone is great and helpful, i had to deal with different shifts. The Manager Olga will sort out all of your requests in seconds, helps to find the best solution even for not happy guests , oh i have seen them walking away happy).Concierge -Viola, Guest Relations -Zilia as well always there to help. Funny, professional, kind, polite, friendly people with big hearts. I cant remember all the names of the people whom i met or had to communicate with otherwise i would name absolutely everyone for an outstanding service. The workers of the bars, restaurants, beach club, housekeeping, luggage guys, gardener’s etc are all great!!!! Theres a very smiley bar attendant at the beach bar who was even icing my Proseco glasses ☝🏻😁 I have seen few reviews people complaining on the food or something else. But again the question is are you coming to enjoy yourself or to find whats wrong? They have always something for everyone there in the kitchen. The food is simple but tasty ! The main restaurant even opened till 4:00 in the morning which is amazing. They have good quality drinks and Italian Proseco which you wont get even at some other luxury resorts of Italy or Turkey. The rooms have that nice ambience and they are stylish. I would recommend rooms with the sea view and the pool. The territory is stylish as well and green with hard working gardeners every day. As i heard theres a huge renovation is on the way for the hall and other parts of the hotel as the owners want to make this hotel even better. The beach is sandy with clear water.

However, there were a few downsides. Making reservations for the à la carte restaurants proved to be quite challenging, and communication with the reception staff was sometimes difficult. Despite multiple requests, cancellations were not processed, and doing so online wasn’t an option either. Moreover, the city center is not within walking distance, so having a car is necessary if you wish to explore the area further.

Our stay at this hotel was truly relaxing, largely due to the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was memorable. The presence of a nutritionist on-site was a fantastic touch, as she helped accommodate dietary restrictions, and the waitstaff were all well-informed about food intolerances. The availability of à la carte dining options, a beautiful beach area, and various dining facilities added to the overall enjoyment. Additionally, the hotel’s proximity to Heraklion Airport made our arrival and departure incredibly convenient.

Out of the four restaurants available at mitsis rinela, we were only able to eat at one. They were fully booked the entire trip even though we tried booking as soon as we checked in. Also the drinks vendors around the resort had a very limited menu. The main bar next to the lobby has everything though.

Both the breakfast and dinner buffets at the main restaurant were great. We also very much enjoyed the various food vendors available around the resort. Also the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the location very nice.

We could only get into one of the restaurants for dinner as they were all fully booked for our stay. The pool area is very slippy and my son had a nasty fall on one of the days.

Staff were amazing and the hotel was spotless. The food on offer was lovely with so much choice throughout the day. Lots of extras in the hotel rooms, the attention to detail and the little things had obviously been very thought out.
