How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewI had a fantastic one-night stay at SHE Mykonos Boutique Hotel. Everything was perfect. The hotel itself is stylish and elegant with thoughtful details, and the room was spotless and comfortable. A special shout-out to Iris and Christina — they were absolutely wonderful, warm, and incredibly helpful from check-in to check-out. The location is ideal: an easy walk to the charming little streets of Mykonos Town, yet right by a main road, which made getting a taxi effortless. Despite the convenience, it was quiet and relaxing. I’d happily stay here again — highly recommended!

Verified reviewThe location is truly exceptional—you won’t find a better one. While you’ll need a car to explore the island and its beaches, the Chora (Mykonos Town) is within easy walking distance, which made things very convenient. There is a parking area with chains in front of hotel, but it is quite busy as its August and it is first in first served, you cant pre reserve the four five seats it has. There is also a private parking some meters away where you need to pay 20 Euros per day to park it. There were two shifts so they were asking 20 Euros each but if you explain to them and be a bit friendly and diplomatic, you can have what you want. Trust me you will need the parking if you come to this hotel with your car. Our room was modern and well-designed. Even though it was spread over two floors, it didn’t feel small at all. It was exactly what we needed for a short escape of four to five days. This combination of white and black was something new for the traditional blue and white of Mykonos What really stood out was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, kind, and always eager to help—whether they were offering recommendations, solving issues, or simply making our stay more enjoyable. A special mention goes to Iris and Kalliopi at the reception. They may look like twins, but they each have their own charm. What they share is a warm smile, impeccable manners, and a genuine sense of hospitality. They made us—and every guest—feel truly welcome. Huge thanks to them for making our stay so memorable!
Breakfast was included in our stay, which was a nice touch. However, the beverage options were limited to americano, espresso, and orange juice. As genuine Greeks, we were hoping for a Freddo Espresso to start our day. We did order it but unfortunately, it came with an extra charge. Including it in the breakfast offering would really elevate the experience.

Verified reviewBreakfast was excellent, and the location is also great — just a 2-minute walk to Chora. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating; they even offered us the option to use the restroom area to shower before our late flight, since we had to check out at 11 a.m.
The swimming pool does not look like it does in the photos. The hotel has no on-site parking — although they offer valet service, the cost is unreasonably high; we were charged €10 for just 3 hours. Additionally, the cleanliness of the rooms is hard to judge because the interiors are very dark, with black walls and dim lighting.
Dear Marco, Thank you very much for your kind comments about our breakfast, location, and staff. We are especially pleased that you felt our hospitality and that we could accommodate you before your late departure. As a boutique hotel, our facilities are designed on a smaller scale, which also applies to the pool area. Our photos are professionally taken, which may sometimes create a slightly different impression of its size. Regarding parking, the hotel does not have its own facilities; this is why we provide a valet service through a trusted partner, allowing guests to avoid the inconvenience of searching for a spot in Mykonos Town, where parking is extremely limited. The design of our rooms follows a contemporary style with darker tones and softer lighting, aiming to create a cozy and intimate atmosphere. We understand, however, that this may affect the perception of brightness and cleanliness, and we fully respect your personal point of view. Thank you once again for your feedback — it helps us to continuously improve. We would be delighted to welcome you back in the future and offer you an even more complete experience. Sincerely, The She Mykonos Team

Verified reviewLovely boutique hotel. Lovely staff, nice and modern rooms. Value for money for the room is great and the cute little pool a wonderful place to watch the sunset and dip in coming home from the beach.
Sadly they are a little restricted with their location meaning a nap after the sunset will have the loud music of numi render it impossible, and keeping the windows open at night you will hear tourists shouting and traffic. Get ready for a lot of steps to go into town but that’s normal mykonos and part of the experience

Verified reviewThe location was reasonable.
The rooms were quite small and the bathrooms were fairly primitive. Proximity to the road was an issue with loud traffic passing by all evening making it difficult to sleep. The breakfast was quite poor with the eggs making several members of our group feel quite ill. The staff were rude, when asked to turn down the music at 12:10am (when the common areas were empty) they rolled their eyes but did eventually oblige, this happened on 2/3 nights of our stay. The music also loudly penetrated guest bedrooms throughout the day. The icing on the cake of our stay, was being accused of eating from the mini bar (which we didn’t do), then repeatedly being called liars by the receptionist. The mini bar bill was 0.25% of the cost of our stay, putting an incredibly bad taste in our mouths. I would not stay here again even if you paid me.
Dear Mr Charlie, We have taken note of your review and feel it’s important to respond with transparency. Your group’s behavior during your stay was unacceptable. There were multiple incidents involving intoxication, loud arguments, and verbal abuse toward our staff in the early hours of the morning. Despite this, our team remained patient and professional while trying to maintain a peaceful environment for other guests. The music in the common area was promptly turned down when requested, even though your approach was aggressive and disruptive. Regarding the minibar charge, our records confirmed the consumption. When questioned, our receptionist was met with hostility and personal insults—behavior that is completely inappropriate. Due to the repeated disrespect shown to our team and the disturbance caused to other guests, we have made the decision to permanently ban you and your party from our hotel. We take pride in offering a welcoming and respectful environment, and we will not tolerate abusive conduct. We stand by our staff and our values. We wish you the best elsewhere.
