The view was amazing and it was the reason why I booked this place , but then I liked even more how clean the room was, the staff would come every day to clean and tidy up the room. The breakfast that they offer is exactly what you need to start your day, with fresh eggs , fresh fruit, a variety of homemade jams, and homemade pastries !

My stay at Myrto Hotel was exceptional. The location, just a short walk away from the gorgeous Ammos beach and the adorable town, is perfect. The hotel owners are so friendly and engaging, and upon arrival, they provide a website with helpful recommendations about everything you will need or want to know about the island. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and featured an amazing view. The breakfast served each morning exceeded my expectations with a generous spread of fresh fruit, yogurt with an array of toppings, eggs, pastries, beverages, and more. I highly recommend staying at Myrto Hotel and will do so myself when I return to the Island!

This isn't a dig on the hotel itself. Rather, the design sensibilities in Greece (and much of Europe) involves having showers without shower curtains. So, you have an open shower with a quarter pane of glass and, inevitably, you spray the whole room every time you take a shower. There must be a better way.

Any note about the hotel starts with the two people who make up the heart and soul of the place -- Alexis and Myrto. They are both incredibly friendly, accommodating, professional and made the stay extra special. The hotel is located at a prime spot, close to the port, one of the town's main beaches, and all of the great restaurants and shops. The included breakfast has something for everyone and goes until late -- for those of us wishing to have a lazy morning. Plus, the view from the patio where breakfast is served, is a thing of beauty. Even though the hotel is only minutes away from the port, having the complimentary shuttle is a great perk if you don't want to drag your suitcases in the heat.

There were 2 bedside lamps but nowhere to plug them in and the water in the shower ran all over the floor

A perfect place to stay on the most idyllic island. Alexis and his team are perfect hosts and run a near perfect hotel. A great base to explore the beaches and the wonderful little village that has a quite extraordinary amount of options for such a small place. Cannot wait to be back!

We adored Koufonisia and the Myrto Hotel was the perfect home base. Myrto was friendly and helpful and provided all of the island information that we needed. We loved the sea view from our room and would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting the island.

Alex the hotel owner met us at the port and took us to the hotel which you could see from the port, but it was a nice gesture, he also took us to meet the ferry when we were leaving the island, he was very kind and very helpful.

Close to the Port and a short walk to restaurants. Beach within two minutes and boats to other beaches five minutes away. The hotel and our room were spotlessly clean. Alex always on hand to help. Super breakfast from a large choice, ordered the night before.

The hotel is run by a lovely family, Alex. Haroula and Myrto were very friendly and hospitable. They made my stay unforgettable. Very very nice breakfast, everything fresh and delicious, from salty to sweet. Haroula's jams are the best. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable beds, a grid on the windows... Every detail is chosen with love. A balcony with a view of the beautiful blue colors of the sea... Transport from and to the port available. Island and the hotel in one word - fairy tale! Magical.
