How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Everything was amazing The staff was very helpful, and the receptionist gave us a lot of information about the restaurants and bars in the town. They helped us with our luggage using their car since the parking was far away from the hotel. The room was clean and cosy and there were clean towels every day The breakfast was tasty and had a wide variety of food. We recommend it and we will definitely be back!

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like.
The hotel was very nice, comfortable and clean. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to assist. The breakfast had a variety of delicious items to choose from. We highly recommend this place

A lot of stairs but I would go back again, the location is so beautiful

It was very clean, the facilities looked brand new and the location (at the old town) was exceptional. The breakfast was handmade and there was a great variety of things to eat and drink. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and peaceful and everything was a short distance from it. The owner and the people working there were arguably the most helpful and kindest people we have encountered in our travels.

As parents we sure missed the lack of small coffe/tea area in the room. Even a small kettle would have been nice.
We liked the modern rooms and the location of the hotel in ancient part of Nafplion. The staff was nice and helpful: they personally helped as finding the hotel and carrying our suitcases. One of the rooms was upgraded to a room with a balcony with no charge. The breakfest was nice and varied.

The only issue for us was the many steps to reach the hotel. Need to know that getting to the hotel by car is not possible .

Although you have a beautiful view from the room the location is on top of the hill you need to climb up so many stairs to get there . A car cannot reach the hotel the luggage had to be carried from the closest parking that also included steps. The staff helped us to carry our luggage .

Lovely, comfy, the best hotel so far we have stayed during our interior of greece trip. The highlights are the accommodation, every small detail is top notch and the staff. George, Christina and Maria are superstars. And breakfast is amazing, all very fresh and served with care and love. We loved it.

The rooms are very nicely designed and appointed and worked just fine for our needs as we were all in singles. It might be tight for a couple.
The hotel is lovely, brand new, with beautiful views of the port and water. We knew we would need to climb stairs to get there, but that was part of experiencing the stunning Nafplion. The staff came to direct us to proper parking and brought out luggage to the hotel. The breakfast was outstanding.

Lovely, spotlessly clean room. All staff we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast served every morning. Quiet and peaceful and great location in the old town.

It was a bit difficult to find the hotel. You have to walk uphill for quite a distance to reach it. If you have heavy luggage or have difficulty walking, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
Check-in at the hotel was very easy, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The room was very clean and quiet at night. We really liked the design, and the small balcony was a nice place to relax. It was also easy to walk to the beach from the hotel.

Nothing to dislike, it was perfect.
This was a beautiful place to stay, and the location was awesome. Since it’s n old town Nafplio, no parking at the site, but they came and met us at the parking lot and took us to the hotel and took care of our bags. It was a great experience. The ladies at the hotel were simply wonderful, they made us all feel like we were VIPs. The breakfast was unbelievable, you need to experience it yourself to believe it.

The steps up to the property
The property was newly renovated and very pretty. Breakfast was lovely and so many delicious choices as Christina met all your needs and was very nice. The steps up to the hotel were a-lot at times but staying in Nafplio that is to be expected. Would definitely come back!

Nothing to dislike. The only point I would make is that there a lot of stairs to take when going by foot to the port and surrounds.
Everything was excellent. We were upgraded to the junior suite and the room, balcony and view exceeded our expectations. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Home cooked breakfast was very good. Would definitely return.

Excellent breakfast, freshly cooked , Maria and Christina very pleasant and welcoming . Same goes for Eleni. Newly renovated , very good room standard and excellent views of Nafplio from the balcony. Nice and quiet location too
