Beautiful grounds, lovely comfortable rooms, very stylish, delicious breakfasts with homemade/home-grown foods - it felt like a spa retreat.

The location is good, close to the village and beaches. The gardens are nice and the pool is very nice and quiet.

We paid almost €600 for 3 nights and for that price we were very underwhelmed. Especially because it’s one of the more expensive options in the area. The beds were rock solid, the bathrooms quite dated and very small, only half of the windows had muskito protectors, and most of the time there was no staff in the hotel. Maybe we aren’t the target audience but for this price we expected a lot more. From the looks of it, it seems like the hotel wants to be fancy, but the quality lacks behind.

Beautiful, clean and serene property with lovely landscaping, olive trees and low level planting around the pool. We stayed in the suite which has large balcony where you can enjoy the morning sun, with a view over the olive trees to the sea. The healthy breakfast options were very nice, my only regret is my appetite isn’t big enough to try everything every day!

    I couldn’t fault it

Olivemare, a little bit of greek heaven. If you're looking for old Greece with that laid back vibe this is the place for you. Five mins walk to the beach and loads of fab restaurants.

Wonderfully quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Both the private terrace and the pool area felt like a piece of paradise. Despite the secluded location, away from the busy areas, the hotel is still close to the village beach, which offers restaurants/bars and decent swimming/sunbathing. Spacious and very well equipped room, including a small coffee machine and free bottles of water refilled daily. Breakfast was great, with different options every day, and we also appreciated the possibility of ordering lunch and dinner à la carte. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Having to decide about breakfast à la carte the day before is probably necessary for staff to plan and prepare, but it does have the disadvantage that you can't spontaneously skip breakfast if you don't feel like getting up one morning (because you're very tired or so). The shower cubicle is on the small side.

It was fantastic. The rooms were immaculate and the staff were great. Quiet location, with a great pool, and only a five minute walk in to the village, where there are plenty of lovely places to eat, or just have a drink

    Leaving!

The location is nice an secluded, there is a winding drive up to the property. All rooms are of a good size and have air conditioning. There is a patio which isn't overlooked by other rooms and has a view of the sea. the breakfast is booked the day before so the food is freshly cooked for when you arrive at the table

The vibe here was very chilled - only five rooms, amazing swimming pool which we had to ourselves most of the time - but there are 10 comfy sunbeds so one for each guest. €4 for a wine or beer out of the mini fridge in the room, salads and pasta served from 2-6pm, order evening meal by 3pm for 7-9pm sitting (on the patio - almost certainly just the two of you). Breakfast was great - ordered a day in advance. Lovely local produce- Greek yoghurt and honey, eggs as you wish, home baked bread, homemade or local cheese, and some different type of “pie” each day - pastry with leeks or mushrooms or cheese or lamb, etc. Pancakes, mousses, coffees, lovely black tea or the local mountain tea. Great start to each day. House cats, in particular Ginger, very friendly and keen to assist if you leave anything unattended… Owner very enthusiastic lady, very helpful and assisted by a friendly cleaner and a lovely lady prepping meals and serving everything up. Location is perfect- five minute stroll to the beach and restaurants. Restaurants also generally very good and quite inexpensive - anything from €20-50 per person including wine - good seafood. Quiet resort ideal for couples - not for those looking to party though!

Nothing major other than the bed which was incredibly hard - my wife liked it but I woke up stiff as a board every day! But overall I’d definitely go back regardless as the pool, the location and the vibe is incredibly relaxing.

With a splendid location near a lovely bay, this B&B/hotel is very calm and quiet and has a fantastic pool. Breakfast service is a bit complicated but very tasty and fresh

The breakfast system is complicated as you have to order the day before, even the coffees. We would have loved to be able to order a small drink during the day but as it seemed to be complicated we just left it at one try.

Very quiet, clean, friendly and lovely food. Just what we needed

Management wasn’t always around and hard to get hold of when we needed, esp when our aircon stopped working.

Beautiful property 5 mins walk from the beach and restaurants in Katelios. A beautiful fresh water pool surrounded by lavender bushes make it the best place to relax on a hot day. Breakfast is local produce cooked to order. Staff are fantastic, friendly and nothing is too much bother for the owner. Thanks for a wonderful stay- we’ll be back!

Everything was perfect! A very beautiful, quiet location, with all the facilities. We enjoyed both quiet and relaxing days/afternoons in the location, as well as exploring the island. The people who work here were wonderful too and they provide support with everything you need. I recommend 100% and I would come back anytime.

Breakfast was excellent, a wide range of choices with lots of local produce, and the option for a number of daily specials and cooked options. The hotel was fantastic, a beautiful setting, a lovely pool and generally nice and quiet perfect to relax. It was a short 3-5 min walk to the beach where there are a number of restaurants. Its also about a 10-15 min drive into Skala. A great stay.

    All great.
