We loved the property and view from our location, but it’s best if they meet you to bring you to hotel. They will arrange for your luggage to be delivered. Let them do that.

It was beautifully decorated. We had the two top rooms ;one with large balcony, both rooms with a beautiful view. Slept so good.

Difficult to access, zero presence of staff during visit, balcony stark and amazing potential not unleashed. No shade. Check out was characterised by (strange?) cleaners

The lightening. It would have been nice if there was less bright light. When putting on the lights it's really too white.

The balcony was perfect. The view on Hydra harbor can't be better.

I felt like I needed a little something in the room like a bistro table or somewhere to sit in private and enjoy my coffee.

Lovely room with an incredible view of Hydra and the port. Very grateful for the A/C with the weather not cooling down at night like I'm used to. Fridge and coffee maker in room were a plus. Huge patio with lots of tables and the incredible view was great. Room was sparse but it had the basics of what you needed and was spacious. Staff was great and appreciated the tidying of the rooms.

Is a truly fantastic hotel offering a rich hydran experience. Totally worth walking the extra steps for the best views over the harbor. Rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. Most importantly Mrs Matina’s incredible energy, responsiveness, warm smile and wonderful recommendations for the most authentic experience really made our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

Martina the host was very kind, generous and meticulous. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Onar. There are lots of stairs up but the spectacular view from the big balcony makes it worth it and it is only difficult when you first arrive with luggage.. I would highly recommend staying at Onar.

A few "household essentials" would be nice. Like a metal fork and knife. Little things to make the stay more at home.

Location is great. The Onar is lovely, and I would defintely stay there again.

A downside of the great views is the height of the property. Lots of steps. But donkeys are available to take your luggage

The property is very relaxed but nicely put together and very clean. The main upside however are the views. I think it would be hard to get better views over the islands main town and harbour.

No directions on how to use the coffee machine. Never figured it out! The directions to get there were difficult. Should have people Google the traverina and then start directions from there. Lovely other than that!

Nothing. We visited Hydra during the extreme storm that happened this September and we still enjoyed the room, the terrace and the island a lot!

Just the view on its own is enough of a reason to stay at Onar - it's absolutely stunning. The room is lovely and well equipped, too. It's a super nice and charming place and I would definitely stay there again :)
