Other guests have mentioned that there is a busy road between the hotel and the rest of the town, and that crossing it is dangerous. In our experience crossing was quite easy in the evening. There is an underpass that you can walk through if you turn left out of the hotel and walk about 100 yards.

The hotel was of a really good standard. Quiet, adults only, direct access to the beach and plenty of nice restaurants nearby for an evening meal. We try and avoid all inclusives and smash and grab buffet type hotels, and prefer calm nicely appointed characterful places. The Orpheas fulfilled the brief perfectly. Our room was on the 2nd floor with a sea view and was well appointed and clean. The staff were attentive and very helpful. The breakfast was pretty much continental with a good choice. If you’re looking for a full English, this isn’t the place for you. Although fried eggs and omelettes were great, the sausages and bacon were aimed more at the German guests. The food in the pool bar was really good, and very good value for money. In fact all drinks, food and services in the hotel are very keenly priced. Overall we had a fantastic 7 nights here, and will definitely stay again next time we’re in Crete.

Nothing not to like. Maybe the parking was a bit of issue sometimes but that’s a minor thing.

Location was great with shops just across the street, breakfast was amazing - so much choice, staff were very friendly and helpful, kept clean and tidy. Everything was tip top!

Adding gym equipments would be quite useful. Extending the use of the pool further than 18 30. And also adding some more pillows on the bed, some people like us need more pillows to be able to relax.

Service from the Staff was impeccable. Amenities were tidy, nice and never disappointed. Decor and Room design eye soothing and very pleasant. Cleanliness and Attention to detail was spot on.

I liked the staff and the swimming pools. The cocktails were really good. The room was clean. The beach was really close so it was easy getting there every day. Next to the hotel were a lot of facilities and restaurants.

I thought this was a great accomodation. The pool by the hotel lobby and restaurant was fabulous. The grounds were really well landscaped and it was really nice having a restaurant on site. Staff was very friendly, and I thought the rooms were really nice. Location is also great. and perfect if you have rented a car and want to explore Crete. Also awesome that it is right on the beach!

The breakfast was super accommodating for all pallets. There are restaurants and bars within walking distance. Staff was very friendly. The bed mattress wasn’t the best but the room was comfortable.

Super Hotel in a great location! Comfortable, clean rooms but above all the staff are so welcoming and incredibly helpful, efficient and friendly! The food was also amazing with buffet style , always hot! Lovely choice of swimming pools, plenty of sun and shad bed options too either in the gardens, around the pool or on the beach. Will be revisiting definitely next year!
