The apartment was spotless, with a breathtaking view. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable. We stayed in three different places during our trip to Crete, and this was by far the best of them.

Our stay in the mountains of Crete was a peaceful and beautiful escape. The apartment was very spacious, incredibly clean, and so quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. ​They do not have air-conditioning, but there is no need, as the rooms are very cool. The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially watching the sunset from the taverna's terrace.  ​The staff were also a highlight—Andreas was incredibly helpful and welcoming, always going out of their way to ensure our comfort. The swimming pool was a perfect oasis for enjoying the scenery. We were particularly impressed with the on-site taverna. The food was excellent, with delicious and authentic dishes that were clearly made with care. ​This place is a perfect choice for anyone looking to unwind in a serene mountain setting, with all the space, beauty, and hospitality you could wish for.

Beautiful view of the mountains, quiet place and very friendly atmosphere. The room was clean, the beds comfy. One thing I didn't like that there wasn't kettle in the room, so you can't make a coffee in the morning. Everything else was good. Swimming pool not very big, but enough to cool you down in the hot summer day.

Family run taverna and rooms, ideal for starting our hike to the Imbros Gorge. Great panoramic views of the Askifou plain. Simple, but delicious Cretan cuisine served at the taverna.

Andreas was a kind and gracious host. The room was cozy, clean, and had a wonderful view. I would stay here again.

The view was very nice. The balcony is not completely private. The room was basic but good for value. The shower was not hot and handheld. The beds are comfortabel, but might not be for people above 1.75m. Friendly host. Nice to have a restaurant closeby that serves in low season.

Very comfortable room with great balcony, very good homemade food at their restaurant. The view from there and our balcony is fantastic over the valley and mountains and deserves the name Panorama. Would be a great base for walkers & hikers. Unfortunately it was too cold in October to use the pool !

Authentic taverna with delicious food at excellent prices. Balcony with beautiful view over the plain below - enjoyed watching and listening to the sheep being moved around below us. Very friendly Andreas with good English.

There was a loud noise that was on and off all evening that kept me awake. Some kind of pump maybe - loud buzzing followed by a loud clunk. Over and over.

Rustic but clean and comfortable. Family run hotel with friendly and accommodating people. Absolutely stunning views. Delicious food - we had dinner and breakfast - both outstanding. A nice, clean little pool.

The hotel is well situated with a great view of the plateau, surrounded by mountains. Since it's up high it is nice and cool during the hot summer. Sleeping with the cool breeze with no need for air conditioner is great. Nice to have a pool as well. Good restaurant.

Ideally situated 5kms from the Imbros Gorge with stunning views over the valley. The accommodation itself is really great and the property restaurant offers delicious Greek food.

Unfortunately the pool wasn't open and this wasn't clear when we booked (the pool was one of the reasons we picked this hotel). However, it was the beginning of the season, so we quite understand.

The room was spotless and the view from our balcony was fabulous. A couple of lovely hikes directly from the hotel. The taverna was open for tasty home cooked food.
