Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SingaporeThe bathroom was pretty bad and could do with some renovation money being spent on it. Constant wet floor which didn’t seem to dry. The shower was really powerful but the shower curtain would stick to you as it was so tiny. No photos of the bathroom. I thought it wouldn’t be so bad but it did spoil it for me as everything else was as pictured.
The view was gorgeous It was near the top of a hill which meant it was quite breezy and peaceful. You’d need a car but we saw some of the younger guests walking down to town and getting a cab back on evenings. Apartment was large and the outside area was great The photos were exactly as portrayed on booking.com People friendly A mix of young 20 somethings in pool and families. Mix of nationalities. All friendly and respectful of property rules. Staff take really good care of the property, especially the pool area.

The apartment was well equipped for self catering, very clean with beautiful pool/bar area. Amazing views over Naxos town and the fabulous sunsets. The staff were amazing too. Only a 20 minute easy walk into town. Perfect for a family holiday.

FinlandFacilities in the room were simply okay. The kitchen was lacking a good knife and a cutting board and there was no A/C in the bedroom but only in the living room which was an issue since we booked the place for 2 couples.
Comfortable vacation home with a gorgeous pool and a great view. Everything was clean and the location is great.

United KingdomFantastic stay and wonderful pool! Staff were very friendly and helpful with organising a hire car and taxis. Apartment was large and clean. Kitchen facilities were quite basic e.g. no kettle but fine for our purposes. Note if visiting with young children that shallow end of the pool is 1.2m so need swimming aids if your children cant swim. Pool was wonderful though - we were in there all the time!

United StatesWish it was closer to town. But not a terrible walk down to town, but definitely want to taxi back to the stay.
We stayed at two different apartments of Paradisia Villa and loved our time here! Was a group of 12 girls and we fit nicely amongst the stay. The staff was super great, they booked a few of our taxi rides into town for us. Also we took them up on their laundry service, and they did a great job!

United KingdomUnfortunately the beds were so uncomfortable they prevented two people in their 20-30’s getting a good nights sleep. As mentioned above the penthouse was actually quite small with the main bedroom only fitting a small double when it is pushed up against a wall. The bathroom was also quite small. The walk to town was fine for us but could be an issue for those less abled as there is an incline towards the property. The stairs in the first floor apartment could be hazardous if you have small children as there is no handrail.
We had two apartments, one on the first floor and one penthouse and they both had stunning views of the town and the penthouse could watch the sunset. I don’t think you could find a better view in Naxos town. The penthouse actually appears smaller than the first floor apartment, which had bigger bedrooms and a bigger bathroom but was split over two levels. The facilities in room were very good, including a coffee machine and toaster and the owner was very friendly and easily reachable by WhatsApp. The accommodation was very quiet and we appeared to have the place to ourselves. The walk to town was around 25-30 minutes with an incline to the property. If you are a decent walker, a car to town is not needed.

GermanyIt's better having a car, walking to and from the town is not suitable in the night due to the lack or lights and at day-time because of the sun.
Amazing place, the view and the pool make the difference, our apartment on two levels was comfortable and the kitchen a proper one. The big parking slot in front of the property is a plus, not easy to find a parking otherwise in the town. Last but not least, a group of kitten made our vacation way more funny.

United KingdomNothing I loved everything.
Paradisia Villas made our trip to Naxos. We have stayed all over the world in all types of accomodation and this was up there with the best authentic relaxing family accommodation. The villas are apartments that comfortably housed my family of four (mum / dad , 13,10,7 & 7). We stayed in two villas during our week long stay as we asked to move to a villa nearer the pool for the little ones after a couple of days. This request was absolutely no bother and we were given the keys to number 8 which is four metes from the pool and central for the outstanding view. Both villas we stayed in where self contained, spacious, well equipped and had lovely covered verandas which we magnetically found ourselves drawn to for chill, eating, reading and relaxation. We would sit on the veranda at night drinking wine and watching the sunset and WOW the sunset. It’s one of the best I have seen and the view from Paradisia Villas is quite simply breathtaking. Overlooking Naxos Town, The Castle and The Doorway of Apollo as the sun sets behind both. Get up early in the morning and then listen to the dawn chorus of Cockerels and other animal noises that ring across the valley in front. It’s quite simply a magical place. We very rarely return to a place once we have visited but I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here if we ever return to Naxos. There is so much more I could positively write about this place but I feel other reviews have covered most points. Get a car. The walk is only 10-15 mins into Naxos Town but a car is needed to get to the best beaches and the taxis aren’t cheap. It’s so quiet round the pool, most of the time we had it to ourselves. The tavernas and wine on the island are excellent. We swear by Tripadvisor and did the top x5 tavernas all were exceptional. Go the supermarket and stock up. The cats are super friendly and this made one of our daughters holiday. As you can probably tell I love this place.

United KingdomUnfortunately some neighbours (we think) had dogs that barked continuously for about an hour every morning and woke us up. We could hear roosters too but this was easy to ignore. The dogs less so. The kitchen could use some larger mugs for tea drinkers! It only had smaller coffee cups.
The views were great. Nice pool and comfortable sun loungers. The fridge next to the pool to buy drinks from was a nice idea too. Our towels were changed regularly. We chose not to hire a car and just walk into town for dinner each evening. Some people would find this walk too much (20-30 minutes, dark country lane) but we didn’t mind it. We caught the bus to go to Plaka beach and another bus to visit a village inland.
