Reviews of Paradiso

Fantastic location, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. A big effort for some lovely touches like the name Paradiso on the beautiful fluffy towels, crisp cotton pillowcases and bathrobes, and meeting us at the harbour to carry our cases back to the room. Towels and linen were changed during our short stay too. Plenty of room for clothes etc Beaches are not sandy so take swimming shoes as there are pebbles everywhere. Highly recommend Mandraki beach.

Beware the steps! First of all the steps to the bathroom are black tiles and easily missed so anyone could tumble. But the steps leading up to the guest house are not for the faint hearted 😂

The host, Spiros, was very warm and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and the location is close to the good spots. We look forward to visiting again very soon!

We had a brilliant stay at Paradiso. The one room apartment was well fitted out, with a spacious bathroom and sweet balcony. Close to the port, with not too many steps to get there. Spiros and his staff were super helpful and friendly.

Spacious, stylish accommodation, well equipped with amazing views.

The many steps, but it was worth it for the views and the owner carried our suitcase which certainly was needed.

I loved everything

Very well designer rooms. Quiet. Little added luxuries.

I liked the woman who cleaned very much, but I only saw her a couple of minutes ago day. I don't mind the climb up to the guest house but people should be aware there are 100 steps ip from the port, so not for everyone.

The accommodation was excellent, close to the Port. We had a lovely view from our window and balcony. The owner was very obliging and very helpful. We would highly recommend Paradiso.

We had a great stay at Paradiso. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable; even without the air-conditioning it was cool. It was also blissfully quiet, especially given that it was only a three minute walk down to the liveliness of the port. Spiros, the owner, was very responsive by text and gave us recommendations for restaurants and bakeries.

Nothing, the room could not have been better, although possibly be aware that Apple maps initially sent us to the wrong location and there are steps to climb with luggage although that is Hydra town.

Close to airport. Real swimming pool and superb sauna. Excellent for an ‘airport hotel.’ Rural vibe. Very nice staff. Excellent super punctual deluxe van to and from airport.

All the fittings, furniture, decor and bathroom were lovely. Balcony was nice with a good view but small (as shown on their photos).

Spacious, well appointed room with lovely views. Great helpful staff who assist with luggage if required.

Great location close to everything, great view over town and harbour

The view alone is worth the trip! As an added benefit, the room is spacious and clean. Quiet little hideaway.

The rooms were beautiful as was the entire building , the location of which- near the waterfront - was perfect.

Very nice rooms

Conveniently located for restaurants, sights, shops and the ferry. Spiros gave useful recommendations for breakfast and dinner places. Loved having a tiny balcony with a view to the hills and a peek of the harbour. Could have spent longer than 3 days.

Quite a few steps, but Spiros kindly met us at the ferry and helped with our luggage. The upside of steps is the view when you get to your destination!

The place was incredible and the owner is absolutely outstanding! He met us at the ferry so we didn’t need to find the location on our own and helped bring our bags. While there he was consistently helpful from simple questions to offering recommendations for places to eat and the best trails to hike and run. When it came time to check out he allowed us to leave our bags at his wife’s shop for the day which allowed us to have an incredible adventure for our last day before getting on an evening ferry. I would recommend this place to anyone, and will be directly recommending it to family who plans to visit the area next year.

Great room, location and host. The tiny details really made a difference.

The only (very minor) feedback I would suggest is improved the blinds and curtains in the room. However an eye mask did the trick

We were met at the port. There was a nice little spot just a couple of steps up from the room to sit and admire the view.

The room didn’t have a window other than the door so to enjoy the view we had to go outside (not too much of an issue)
