Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Pavlos and his wife were so incredibly welcoming. Their apartment was exactly as described, beautiful, modern and very clean. Very quiet even though it was in the middle of town and the location was excellent close to everything. He gave us great reccomendations to enjoy the island too. Will definitely come back again

The apartment is in a perfect location, in the centre of Gaios. It is a 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal along the water front. Pavlos met us on arrival and was so helpful with some great suggestions. The fridge had some cold drinks in it which was very welcoming. Everything was spotlessly clean and the facilities were perfect for our stay.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Gaios. Situated one street back from harbour area about a 15 minute walk from the ferry port (from Corfu). Internally the accommodation was just like photos with stone walls and attention to every detail. Excellent. Pavlos was wonderful - so very helpful. Apartment spotless with daily cleaning and water and drinks left in fridge. The enclosed private garden was very pretty. Unfortunately we were there when the temperatures were very high so didn't make much use of it..

My only small remark is that there isn't place to dry your swimming suits and towels. I have seen a rack in the external corridor, which probably we could.use but I didn't see where I could put it
We arrived early and the owner tried to accomodate us as soon as possible. He was easily reachable. The studio is very centrally located, close to everything and nicely decorated, some welcome drinks in the fridge were a nice touch. We also got a lot of information for island.

Not a problem for us but apartment has no views but the garden pretty and functional for drying swim clothes etc.
Great location in middle of town. Lovely and modern with good shower and facilities. Comfy bed and pillows.

Located in the heart of Gaios square, and despite it is in the city centre its quiet with no external noises. The room has the size of a small studio yet is comfy and the shutters qualify for a good sleep. We appreciated having our towels changed every day. For your beach towels, we would recommend that you leave them outside the room as inside they wont dry until next day. Great choice for a couple or duo.

It was in the perfect location! Also the AC was great. It was the perfect size for me and my sister. The best part were the hosts. They were so helpful! They recommended and amazing boat tour which we loved and also recommended a beach day and organized a car to pick us up and drop us off. They also left us some snacks and drinks which was so thoughtful. They were very warm and made our stay in paxos amazing!

Absolutely nothing to complain!
Everything! Pavlos was truly welcoming, always helpful to solve every kind of problem. The house was dreamy, fully equipped for a pleasant stay... The position was exceptional, in the perfect center of Gaios, you can go everywhere by feet. Walkable from the port, it is simply overall perfect!!

Newly renovated, clean, comfortable bed, great shower and constant hot water, location was perfect . Pavlos was very helpful with finding taxi, restaurant recommendations, beach recommendations and car rental. We felt like guests in his home. We would definitely come back!

I struggled to find fault. This was my perfect 10.
Property was outstanding. Lived up to all the reveiws. Very comfortable, Interior decorated with style. Perfectly located. Came with all the thoughtful things that make a difference... Fridge stocked with water , juice, drinks. Hairdryer and bathroom supplies. beautiful courtyard.

Absolutely nothing
All the smaller, finer details. Pavlos is a thoughtful host, there was a welcoming pack in the fridge of cold drinks. There is a mosquito plug available if you wanted it, there was shower gel and shampoo in the shower. Everything was sparkling clean. Bed was extremely comfortable, the room was cool due to the brickwork. Pavlos is very very kind. We would most definitely recommend !

Great location in the middle of the town and yet it was still quiet and private . It had everything we needed. The air conditioning was excellent, very very quiet. Our hosts were very lovely and accommodating.

Pavlos was excepcional! a great option to sleep in Paxos. In the center but at the same time a very quite place to enjoy the island! When I return to Paxos I'll come back to Pavlos. The apartment was amazing!
