Nothing in particular. It was fine. There was a time lag in the shower temperature and the water pressure wasn’t good, but it’s a basic budget hotel so can’t have everything top notch.

Considering it’s a budget hotel where you go just so you can get to the airport early, it’s quite nice that they include a free and very efficient shuttle service which is timed according to your needs, free toiletries, tea and coffee in the room, and a spacious balcony to sit outside and eat (as well as seating near the hotel entrance). There’s a fridge in the room too (and a hob, though no real way to use it unless you carry your own pots and pans). The air conditioning was better than a lot of more expensive hotels I’ve been to. The host was nice too.

What I really liked was that the place is conveniently close to the airport and offers a free shuttle bus—they picked us up and dropped us off without any issues. We were a group of 8 with a lot of luggage, and we stayed in Athens for a couple of days before heading to Santorini. They kindly allowed us to drop off all our luggage in advance, which I really appreciated. Great service and very accommodating!

Was a bit of a walk to the town centre and beach and taxi service not always available. Shuttle bus service to airport and restaurant was very convenient though.

The shuttle service was included in our stay. The driver was there to pick us up even though we landed quite late (or early) around 1-2AM. He was there with a big smile to welcome us to Greece. Breakfast was simple and had everything we needed. They drove us back to the airport the next morning as we could easily catch a bus or metro there to head into the city centre. Would very much recommend in case people need a place to stay near the airport!

Very proactive, efficient communication immediately after booking. Simple to arrange transfer from and to the airport which is 10mins drive. The transfer element worked perfectly. Our room was a good size, was very clean, the shower and heating (we stayed in February) worked properly. The Peris hotel is designed around travellers who are between flights and it just does this very professionally and well. If you need a stopover in Athens, I'd happily recommend staying here. This was our second stay and I'm sure we will stay again.

Breakfast was ok without being special. Given a cold hard boiled egg and selection of bread, cheese orange juice and coffee or tea. Not memorable but everyone helpful and friendly. They organised a free collect and return to local taverna by the sea which was excellent . We had hired a car and went round in circles trying to find them. Friends use their free airport collection which was excellent apparently.

The hotel is very dated and needs some improvements.

The driver picked us up from the airport and drove to the nearby hotel. In the evening there is a free shuttle and back to a beach side restaurant that serves great food. Next morning free shuttle back to the airport.

It was a little isolated took about 20 to walk to the beach for dinner, returning in the dark a bit of a challenge. Patio door wouldn’t lock and had to ask reception for the remote for air conditioner.

Airport pickup and drop off were great. Communication prior to stay was promptly responded to. Bed was comfy and room clean.
