How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The rooms don't have private bathroom
The bathrooms are shared, but het were ver very clean, allá of the apartement and the room is very clean. The tenant is a very nice and attentive person The neighboorhood seemed really quiet, and the apartement is really close tobthe metro station, you justo go through one park and you get to the station. Also there is a small super market across the park, really good location.

The neighborhood seems a bit sketchy but we had no problems walking back at night.
We enjoyed our stay, the kitchen was tidy, had everything we needed and multiple bathrooms were all spotless. The room was very clean, spacious and the air-conditioning was a blessing. The metro station is super close and many other places can easily be reached on foot.

Great apartment. Excellent value. The only problem is it is very difficult to find the place. There is no sign in the lobby or above the door telling you where it is. I asked at least ten people in the building until I luckily found someone staying there

Not the best location, but not terrible. At night the area is a little sketchy. Heart of Athens is aprox. 10 minutes by subway and 45-60 minute walk.
I was a bit worried about this accommodation but it blew me away. Why? SUPER clean (and I mean Super Clean) and in very good repair. These units are very professionally run and maintained. It was simple but all that I wanted or needed. Location was only a few feet from a park and subway station. Within 2 blocks great bakeries and coffee as well as 3 small grocery stores, restaurants etc. At night the area is a little sketchy. Heart of Athens is aprox. 10 minutes by subway and 45-60 minute walk. GREAT Value. Would Highly recommend!

I relized the house has got double glazed windows everywhere (even into the bathroom and the kitchen) except in the room that should be maybe the living room, used as an extra bedroom: in fact, that was a "triple room" (or at least twin) the staff gave me for single use, as I was travelling alone and they had the room still available when I booked. I very appreciated it "aesthetically" (it's huge, with a nice balcony, comfortable bed, good desk, etc.), but I didn't very like that it was facing to the main street and the bars square with no double glazed windows! As I'm a light sleeper, I required a silent room... and giving me the one that is facing the street with only single glazed windows wasn't the best choise.
Very nice location (I loved the district, as it's a very easygoing one!) and well connected; good quality flat, definitely cleant even if shared; full equipped; very kind staff and flexible check-in/out! Very comfortable kitchen for guests' use and respectful clients.

Small room, people consuming drugs on the neighborhood at night
The beds were comfortable and it has ac, 15/20 min walking to the city center. The toilet and the kitchen are nice, the neighborhood during night is different but we didn’t feel unsafe. In general the prices was good for what you get maybe some euros cheaper would be better

Finding the right address was a bit of a challenge. We had to call the landlord, but then he came pick us up immediately. Beds are a bit hard.
Excellent location close to metro-station. Nice rooms and very clean. Well equipped kitchen.

One night as we opened the curtains to ventilate our room we recognized that you can look directly inside one of the bathrooms .... That's not so good!
The hostel is close to the metro station. The first address from booking.com was wrong but the guy from the hostel was really nice and picked us up and gave us recommendations for the city. There were many bathrooms for the amount of rooms and a good kitchen (even a sandwich maker :) ). There was an elevator.

I have nothing negative to say!
We really enjoyed our stay in this guesthouse. Location is very good, near the metro station, near a supermarket, not too far from the center, you can walk easily. The room was large, the kitchen is well equipped, there are two bathrooms for 5 rooms (but it felt only 4 were to rent). The whole place was super clean, the owners were fast to reply and the wifi was good enough. It was overall quiet. We would stay there again.

The room was really clean and comfortable! The location was so comfortable (just few minutes from the metro station) and close to supermarket and many bar. The host was very kind and helpful! We absolutely recommend it :)
