Honestly, there was nothing significant we didn’t like—it was a perfect stay.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Petra Aqua Villa in Perissa! From the moment we arrived, Ioannis and Isabela made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The villa itself is stunning, modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with a big, beautiful pool that felt completely private. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach and close to so many wonderful restaurants and spots to explore. Our room was incredibly comfortable and roomy, making it the perfect home base for our Perissa adventures. What truly set our stay apart, though, was the generosity of our hosts. Even though our departure flight was late at night, Ioannis and Isabela allowed us to store our bags at their second hotel nearby and even use their facilities to shower and relax before heading to the airport. It made our departure completely stress-free and truly showcased their thoughtfulness. We couldn’t recommend Petra Aqua Villa more, gorgeous villa, amazing pool, unbeatable location, and hosts who genuinely care about your stay. We can’t wait to come back!

If I were to find any drawbacks, it might be the lack of equipment in the kitchenette. But all we had to do was ask, and we were given all the dishes.

A wonderful place run by even more wonderful people. Located in a quieter part of the island, which didn’t affect sightseeing at all – as long as you have a car. The list of advantages will be long: *The owners had no problem with a late check-in (our plane landed just before 11 PM). *An incredibly helpful cleaning lady who took care of our apartment like a ninja - quietly and efficiently. When she noticed we were using hairpins to hang laundry, clothespins appeared in the blink of an eye. Not to mention the regular change of bath and pool towels, great job! *Although the property is about a 5-minute walk from Perissa Beach, it was really peaceful in the evenings (but we've been here in June, before tourist-peak-season). *The private lounging area with sunbeds by the apartment became our favorite spot. Separate entrances and gates to each apartment provided a sense of privacy and peace. *Extremely friendly and smiling staff who always asked how we were doing, just lovely!

We stayed 12 nights and enjoyed every day; the owners are really kind and helpful; place was very clean and not crowded at all; we booked a day trip (recommended) & rented a scooter (almost brand new) at the facility for very fair price - highlight was the private sun deck with own Jacuzzi, Restaurants, bus stop, supermarkets and the beach are accessible in less than 5 min walking distance

Nothing, I’ve seen reviews mention the bar next door, very handy for a drink, being noisy but we had the 2 rooms nearest the bar and didn’t find it an issue at all.

Very clean good sized rooms with an excellent contemporary style, and a great swimming pool. 5 minutes walk or so to the beach and restaurants in one direction and even less the other way to an excellent supermarket. The owners are lovely people, and offered excellent service, arranged transfers for us and they also rent cars so that was so easy to arrange for a day.

Nothing really. We were ground floor and the only minor downside was the rear balcony backed onto the road (not busy) with no real view at the back but it wasn’t a biggie as before we used the front doors onto the pool.

Location is excellent, just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Supermarkets, bakeries, coffee shops, cafes, bars and restaurants and the bus stop all in easy reach (5 mins stroll). Hosts are superb, friendly and welcoming. The rooms are bright and spacious cleaned everyday with fresh towels, toilet rolls etc. They also offer competitive rates on car & bike hire - we got a brand new picanto (plenty big enough for 4 especially on these roads). Minibus to & from airport provided if required also. I think there’s only around 8 rooms so we had the pool to ourselves most days when we wanted it - usually for a hour or two after a day at the beach. Pool area is tidy with comfy loungers and cleaned daily. Thira is recommended to visit and Oia is stunning but unless it is a bucket list thing I would avoid at sunset, the crowds are horrendous with at least 4 cruise liners anchored offshore. The front of the room had double doors which opened up onto the pool which was great. We had 2 rooms next door to each other, one for me & the mrs, the other for the (grown up) kids (had 3 beds). We loved our stay here. Spacious room with our own private pool and a shared pool. The hotel throughout is clean and well kept. We are very glad we found this place and we will definitely be back and won’t look anywhere else to stay as it was so perfect and couldn’t ask for anything better

There was a bit of traffic noise but the windows are top quality so shutting them muffled the sound quite a bit.

Isabella made us very welcome. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and had everything you could need. Good air-con and excellent Wifi. Pool and loungers were fab - we mostly had the whole area to ourselves. Close to fab bakery for breakfast pastries and Carrefour for water etc. Also very handy for the bus stop ( buses are a great way to get around the island and very inexpensive )

If I had to pick something which is quite difficult as everything was so good, I'd. Say a little more of a privacy sheild on the wall that runs along the outside of the balcony where the hot tub is as the wall is pretty low and neighbouring hotel could see us getting in and out of hot tub.

Absolutely loved the complex and hosts. Very welcoming and relaxing environment. We upgraded to the hot tub on the balcony and we're very satisfied with everything. Would definitely use the villa again.

Bed was very firm, so a bit uncomfortable, but the room was lovely and spacious with a nice powerful shower in the bathroom so can't fault anything else other than the bed!

Isabella is the perfect hostess and was so kind and amenable, from the great comms ahead of arrival to when we arrived in Santorini. Would highly recommend booking one of her 5 rooms with a private hot tub, it was such a treat to be able to cool off in the privacy of our own terrace at times when the pool area was busy. That said, Petra Aqua Villa does boast a lovely pool too. Set just behind the main high street of Perissa, and a 5 minute walk to the beachfront full of lovely bars & restaurants, this place couldn't be better situated. Isabella kindly arranged our airport transfers too which made the whole trip flow so smoothly. The perfect spot for some R&R if ever I could recommend one.

Very nice place, good location, very clear (every day room cleaned, towels changed). Our host was very nice and helpful. I really appraciate being there, especially that it was very special time for us. Apartament near to Perissa and Perivolos beach, bus stop, cash machine, good restaurants, mini market, car or quad rental. Especially comfortable for older people or with children as it flat which is not so obvious in Fira or Oia. I can only say thank You to our host.

You can hear the music from the neighboring bar, which is open until 01:00. It made it a little difficult to sleep.

Everything. We were met at the airport by hosts and took us to apartments. They provided us with water. The rooms were cleaned daily (beds changed, bath & pools towels changed every day) We had room 3 and because the apartments were quiet felt like we had the pool to ourselves. Isabella and Jannis could not do enough for you
