It would be very nice if some equipment, furniture, etcetera could be renewed. For example, in our room front piece of our bathtab has been dislocated, and we were trying to assemble it back. Nevertheless, it's our old time classic Fillipion of our beautiful city and we will continue to love it.

The hotel needs some renovation and freshening up.

My wife had a pollen allergy and the first room was stuffy and some appliances did not work, our request was taken on and we were offered to move to another room. The person in the reception handled the request with understanding, we really appreciate that. The view is really good and the breakfast.

There was an event, so there was loud music reaching the room from the event. Not too invasive but it was "in the picture" so to speak. Entrance area could easily be improved alot if they took some time and effort in doing it. A few bushes and a pavement you get a whole new entrance for very very little money.

I am answering for one of my colleague who was relocated in the evening from our previous accomodation. I booked the room on her behalf, so I am getting the questionair (but she filled me in, so I am passing on her opinion). The room was clean and comforting, some parts could have been freshened up on style, these last few years, but in a way that is also its beauty. The air was crisp and refreshing, the breakfast was great, and all in all it was an honest/fair value for money deal.

The hotel is a little tired around the edges. Which is a bit sad. Don't let it put you off though.

We liked so many things. Fom the friendly attentive staff (One of which gave us recommendations, which panned out awesomely, of places to visit when we headed on to Chalkidiki) , to the swimming pool, to the amazing location, the stunning views night & day and to the easy access to almost anywhere in thessaloniki for only €10 by taxi. We were almost put off by the reviews but we're so glad we weren't. The whole experience was amazing!

Great location in amount the trees and you get to the see the beautiful sunset overlooking the city. Breakfast was also a good variety.

Old, feels old and worst that even smell old. Pool closed very early so we didn't had the chance to try Looks inviting though.

Wifi is absent

Staff perfect at your disposal, wifi very bad or none. The 4 stars are not correct, 2 should fit more with the services level of this hotel. But à good point the staff is realy nice and helpfull.

We booked this hotel coz of parking And swimming pool but after long whole day in the city we wanted to relax in the pool but they closed at 6:30 to early for a hotel guest atleast til 10pm, disappointed! Phone in the room is not working so I need to go to reception to order room service everytime no action after reporting,worst they even let me carry my own order. The menu no fish and seafood being in Greece 4 star hotel however the burger was tasty Great view from the room !

Nothing actually, all as expected.

Fair for its cost, this is what you have to consider. Value for money. Dont be overdemanding. Whatever has to be there, it is there. Staff friendly. Breakfast basic but satisfying. Room comfortable to host even a baby cot. Outdated hotel a bit yes, but who actually needs more? The price logical. Easy spacious open parking safe. Not far away from downtown, 15 min max by car easy road.

The internet sadly didn't function, the decoration/building is very old-fashioned, the breakfast could have been better for 8e per day. The location is very pretty, in the woods, however you need a car, as no public transportation is available in this location and you need a taxi.

The room was clean, bathroom well-equipped, staff very friendly, room service fast and friendly.

The hotel needs renovation

The staff went above and beyond, suppose, they tried to mask all the drawbacks of the hotel. Even didn’t offer a single bottle of water!!!

The hotel is very old. It needs some serious refurbishment. The breakfeast is poor for a 4 star hotel.

The pool Muzak was horrendous. Loud, inane, and repetitive and went on from 10am till after 6pm. I have stayed at the Phillipion many times but mostly been out. The new management regime seem to be unaware. Even proper music restricted to the pool area would be acceptable but this Muzak reverberating through the entire hotel prevented enjoyment of room balcony.

I could get a shower. The water was red and dirty. Paid 10 € for 2 bottle of beer that cost 1.20€. Next time I would better be sleeping at the street.
