The location was great but the absolute standout was the staff. They noticed that it was my birthday on my ID when I checked in. Not only did they wish me a happy birthday but they put a handwritten message and a piece of cake in my room. They also organized a late night taxi to the airport for me and basically took care of everything I needed while I was there.

Unfortunately, the bathroom/toilet had a terrible odour which proved to be difficult during the initial days of our stay. We were kindly given a new room during the second half of our stay. My recommendation would be to have air fresheners in the bathrooms as there is no ventilation in these.

Size of room and bathroom. Bathroom was tiny, could not open door while standing inside, bathtub had a dangerous split level in it. We were not told about it and no warning signs posted. My husband slipped and nearly fell.

Kind personal. Very good breakfast and great view of the acropolis. Very flexible about check out time and check in time, will also store baggage if you came early. Great location walking distance from lot of great attractions.

The breakfast room was a bit tight as they were trying to accommodate so many tables in a small space, so it made it a bit uncomfortable as you were trying to navigate amongst tables and chairs and it made you feel like a bull in a china shop. The breakfast items were not as nice as I would expect from a hotel with this price point. The cookies and other pastries were pretty bad, actually. If you will offer Greek cookies, make sure they are really tasty. Otherwise, best not to offer. The roasted vegetables were lovely and the coffee was fine.

The room for three (mom and two daughters) was so comfortable and we had a view of the Parthenon from a large balcony! The hotel is steps from the center of the Acropolis and Plaka. Lovely location! The staff was excellent as they arrange a transfer from the airport, gave great recommendations for places to eat, were available always, and made our stay very comfortable. The room for the "boys" was a double and much smaller, but perfectly serviceable.

The exterior and the lobby of this hotel have clearly been updated and look great. However, the rooms are dated and a bit lackluster. Very few electrical outlets and the AC was just adequate. The breakfast is ok. The coffee machine only makes regular coffee...no espresso, lattes, or cappuccino.

Excellent staff, wonderful location. Cool neighborhood and convenient to Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, and Metro.

Our first day/night the AC was only working at 50% capacity and we’d walked miles in 94 degrees. By the next morning it was fixed and we froze- had to readjust thermostat!

Clean and quiet. Wonderfully helpful and accommodating staff! Super strong AC when it was working. Several breakfast options: my favorite was Greek yogurt with honey drizzle.

Wonderful welcoming hotel from arrival in the early hours to help on departure. Our room on the 5th floor was beautifully appointed with large terrace and stunning view of Acropolis. Comfortable beds, room serviced daily, such friendly staff. And super bathroom with a bath, unusual for Greece. Breakfast was delicious with savoury and sweet options. The hotel is in a perfect safe location for metro, museums, restaurants (and the best coffee and cakes at Alchemist nearby). Cannot emphasise enough our enthusiasm for this lovely hotel.
