Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

North MacedoniaI was on the second floor with the best view on the sea and the city but it is a litle bit noisy at night if you want to stay longer on the balcony. Also the owner told me that the room for two adults and baby is small but because of view I choose this room and made a mistake only for two adults it is ok.
The place is on a exellent location just 10m from the beach and if you stay at this property sunbeds are free, the beach bar and restaurant are exellent. It is also in the centre of the town everything is happening right in front of you. The staff and the owner are amazing people.

RomaniaWe stayed 7 nights and they cleaned (change the towels, change the sheets, etc) just 2 times even though in the description they said that they are offering daily housekeeping. For us was a let down because you are visiting Potos to go to the beach and the room it gets sandy quickly…. They don’t have a hose in the front of the property in order to clean yourself before entering the property and for one of the rooms we needed to talk even for the second clean up because they somehow missed it.
The position of the location was great, beachfront and near the streets with vendors and tavernas/restaurants. They also ofer a beach bar and a taverna with good food. The sun beds are included in the price of the reservation and they are very comfortable. Although the rooms didn’t have a sea view (they were on the back of the building), it wasn’t a problem because the position protected us from the evening/night noise. Like I said the property has a great position and it can get noisy in the evenings, but the soundproofing of the rooms was decent. The communication via booking was great.

Very good location, next to a nice sandy beach. Hotel is ok, rooms are clean and have everything needed. The owner Michalis is an exceptional host- he and his team will make you feel like home! The food.in thw restaurant is verry good, probably the best in the area as we tested several other restaurant, this was top.

BulgariaThe building is in an extremely crowded location, practically inaccessible by car after 16:00. You must carry your hand luggage from the nearest parking lot. Restaurants are usually crowded in the evening. The waiters try their best, but the Greek hospitality is lost because of the many customers. The organization of the use of umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach is a tragedy. Allegedly, there are reserved seats for hotel guests, but this does not prevent you from being kicked out of there by the staff's decision. For example, a reason could be that someone asked for your seat the night before. I recommend the owners pay attention to the attitude of the lady with the metal nose ring to the customers.
The rooms are clean. The furniture is comfortable. The location is on the beach. The staff communicates fluently in English.

RomaniaThere is absolutely no value for money. You pay a lot for a room that should cost 5 times less. I couldn't believe my eyes when I got there and saw how much I paid for a joke. There is absolutely no space. For 7 days I couldn't unpack because there was no space to put my stuff. Even with the bags on the floor we didn't have space to move around the room. For that price it is a shame to have that joke of a bathroom that gets all wet when you shower and the tiniest sink possible. You couldn't even sit correctly on the toilet beacause of the sink. There is no elevator so it is difficult to carry your luggage upstairs. We had some trouble with the AC and tried to contact the owner but he didn't answer our calls and didn't call back. We could only talk with the lady downstairs that was working for the bar/restaurant. The location is not the best. It is a pedestrian street and there is no parking, also it is very difficult to unload your luggage when you get there, In the night there is a lot of noise coming from the clubs on the beach.
It was nice the sea view from the balcony. The location was good, but not that important since everybody in Greece travels by car.

TurkeyIt’s in a very noisy area. We woke up with fireworks in the middle of the night and I was super scared because I thought someone was firing a gun. The bathroom in the room does not have a shower cabin and every time we took a shower everywhere in the bathroom got wet. No parking nearby the hotel so it’s very difficult to unload and load your car. No showers on the beach. The beach was very crowded and we could hardly find a sunbed with an umbrella. The food in the restaurant disappointed us too. They served fried calamari with mayonnaise.
The room had a good view and it was clean.

RomaniaIt was too short a vacation 😜
A very nice and very clean location. Staff particularly attentive and kind. I highly recommend this location, which is located in the center of the resort and right next to the beach, which has umbrellas with sun loungers, these being free for hotel guests. I felt very good!

RomaniaTime passes quiqk.
This is not the tipical greek style vacation place. Piatsa Michalis is the most honest, cosy, stylish place with good people and very unique twist in cooking greek food with a stilish addon.

TurkeyIt's almost in the center of Potos, so it's not in a quiet area especially in the night. However, room is sound insulated, so once you close the balcony door, the noise is mostly cancelled.
The location was amazing. It's almost inside of the center of Potos and just 20 meters from the beach. The rooms were very clean and cleaned in everyday we stay. It has got hot water with no issues with soap and shampoo amenities. AC was working great. Wi-Fi was good. Staff were really nice people (special thanks to Thanos!). View was amazing (stayed in SeaView room). There is a very good restaurant and nice beach of the location, so you may not have to go to far to get these. It's a family hotel, so manage your expectations accordingly and they clearly state that in their information. However, it was even much better than what we expected.

TurkeyPiatsa Michalis is one of the places where I had the best time. Michalis is one of the kindest people I know. His sincere and sincere driving makes you feel at home. very clean room, small but adequate balcony for watching the sunset was wonderful. There is a beach in front of the cafe with its sympathetic waiters right in front of it. The most beautiful hotel of Potos without alternatives. I would recommend it to everyone.
