It’s always a pleasure staying at Piazza Castello. This was our third visit, and once again Yiannis and his family were wonderfully friendly and full of great advice about the island. The location is unbeatable, perched right at the top of the island, offering stunning panoramic views. The building itself is a heritage property. The rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean, and equipped with good air conditioning. Watching the sunset from the balcony is truly unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the island!

Nothing.. it was just wonderful

A wonderful property close to the beautiful village of Plaka Milou. Amazing views and sunsets from the gorgeous terrace. A bar with perfect staff and a traditional Greek vibe.. rooms are clean comfortable and pretty. this place is a must stay while you are in Milo’s.

High season and still felt empty. They looked closed and out of business when we arrived. Not alot to indicate that anyone was around. Just didn’t seem very inviting or a property to “hang out” around. Everything is communicated over WhatsApp, so you definitely need good reception and coverage if traveling here.

Located in the center of Plaka but just high enough to be away from square. Converted police station. Incredible views. Nice clean rooms and supplies. Great home base to explore Plaka and Milos.

Keep in mind that the ascent to the hotel is quite demanding, especially with luggage. The cars cannot drive directly to the hotel. In addition, the hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, which means that the chirping of crickets can be heard very loudly around the clock. However, this is not a problem for deep sleepers like us. Be assured that the hotel does everything in its power to make guests feel comfortable.

The hotel boasts a unique view. From the terrace you can enjoy the marvellous view of the sea and the nearby islands. Unbeatable. The owners of the hotel also run a small bar, so it's never been easier to enjoy a delicious drink at sunset. Some tourists come to this bar especially for the sunset. However, the bar is not loud or disturbing at all. The hosts are easy to contact and always respond quickly. The rooms are very large and spacious.

Nothing! It is a heritage building so one must expect to have a slightly smaller bathroom. This was not an issue for us.

We absolutely loved our stay at Piazza Castello. The place is a bit rustic with a smaller bathroom, but aside from that you could not get a better location! The bed was firm and comfortable, linen soft and AC cool… The room was spacious and we loved the café bar below our suite. Our host George was quiet the first couple nights but we had a lovely visit on our final night when we came back after dinner. Thank you for the hospitality 💞Fantastic location to enjoy a sunset drink before or after dinner! Everyone walks nearby to view the sunset and has to pass by our location. We felt very fortunate that it was home. So many lovely restaurants and shops to explore within a short stroll down charming cobblestone streets. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you

Beautiful views, great location, very comfortable bed, and AC! Aside from the physical property itself, the host was fantastic and so kind! Yiannis was in constant communication, providing us with advice and information every step of the way. His recommendations for food and beaches were superb, and we always felt so cared for.

Spectacular location near the top of old town Plaka - you can enjoy the same fantastic view as other cocktail bar customers but from your own balcony/courtyard which is absolutely amazing. It's a heritage building in a historic part of an old town so the usual trade-off applies (e.g. parking is a short walk away down the hill; and in terms of facilities there's a limit to how much the owner can modernise it etc) but it's totally worth it given the location. Very friendly and chilled owner/staff as well - all in all a very enjoyable stay

This small hotel used to be the police station. Has great patio views. Great place to sit with wine and the best Greek salad. My 2nd year staying here.

The owner Yiannis was such an amazing host from the get go. He was very easy to get hold of and helped us with so much. The bar wasn't yet open but his father came the day before and made us a cocktail on the house. Beautiful room and very comfortable. The view was stunning exactly like the photos and a great location to Plaka.

Unforgettable experience, one of the best places to see the sunset in Milos at our doorstep. There during off-peak so the downstairs bar was shut but that meant we had the place to ourselves for the 2 afternoons except for those coming up wanting to drink at the bar due to its insane location. The room was a good size with adequate storage, a fridge and kettle. The shower was quite small and subject to flooding but wasn’t a concern as we couldn’t wait to get back to the views. The bed was enormous and so so comfortable. Very secure. Overall highly recommend to couples and wish we had 2 extra nights and could see it thrive in peak season.
