Reviews of Hotel Pilalidis 3 stars

Hotel Pilalidis has a wonderful garden, the pool and pool area are really nice with some of the comfiest sunbeds ever. The size of the rooms is just right and are cleaned daily (we let them in twice for 7 nights - it's just not needed more). Our balcony was looking towards the street, which can be a bit noisy, but we had palm trees as a view, so privacy and when you close the door it's absolutely silent. Good air conditioning which works only when the balcony door is closed.

The breakfast options are not ideal - just one type of white and one yellow cheese, one type salami, etc., so virtually the same each morning, which can become boring when you're staying for seven nights. Getting up late - after 9, and coming back to the room late - after 9, meant we never showered with really hot water, just warm(ish - sometimes).

Perfect! The location, the cleanness , spacious, the pool area is beautiful, the best breakfast we had in Greece! Amazing! Will come back for sure.

It was a pleasure to spend our vacation at Pilalidis hotel, we have no objections, everything was fine, the location, not far from the beach, the breakfast, the rooms, but especially the garden, the garden from the hotel is so beautiful! Thanks for wonderful time!

Everything clean and neat, beautiful pool and surroundings, lovely staff. The best in Pefkochori!

Everything was perfect. The garden is awesome and also the view of the balcony.

The garden - with palm shade over the pool, kids playground. Spacious room and with a terrace into the garden where we had the lunch.

The property has a nice location, the beaches are near, which is an important thing. It was also very clean and quiet, totally recommend it for a famiky trip.

There were misleadinf about the car parking. There was any available special parking area to the hotel, we had to challenge parking every night in a busy area. The breakfast was too simple and we usually had to eat something additional in beaches because it was very limited

The hotel garden and pool area was really nice, the staff was very friendly and always helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily and we even got a free upgrade. The food at the pool terrace was also very good.

The toilet at the reception needs some maintenance and maybe even an upgrade. The hotel has no parking spots but there is space nearby, depending on when you arrive. It's a general problem in the whole area.

The breakfast- it was not tasty, you could hardly find something eatable. Very small variety of food, every day mostly the same

We appreciated the garden, the playground and the pool, as well as the daily cleaning service and the fresh towels and sheets provided.

We stayed as a family and overall had a decent experience, but there were several issues that left us disappointed. We arrived approximately three hours before the official check-in time, hoping the room might be ready a bit earlier. Unfortunately, it became available only shortly after the maximum check-in hour and the staff wasn’t particularly welcoming. While we waited in the heat with the children, seated on the terrace, we were told we weren’t allowed to consume our own bottled water — only beverages purchased from the hotel were permitted. This felt rigid and lacking in basic hospitality. The room was generally clean, but the kitchenette had some hygiene issues and one of the stove buttons was broken. We didn’t insist on fixing it since we weren’t planning to cook. However, ants appeared in the kitchenette and then spread throughout the room, which was quite uncomfortable. The TV offered only a few local channels. The coffee tasted like instant powder; a basic espresso machine would make a big difference. However, the biggest downside was the attitude of the staff. Communication was limited and impersonal even before our arrival. At one point, during breakfast, I asked to take my coffee to the terrace in front of the room and return the cup afterward — the answer was simply “no”. Coffee wasn’t allowed outside the breakfast or pool area, which again felt unnecessarily rigid. Another inconvenience is the lack of private parking. It is clearly stated in the listing that the hotel doesn’t offer parking, but considering the location and the number of families arriving by car, it would be helpful if this service existed or at least if some clear guidance was offered. Even when everything is clean and functional, the way you’re received as a guest makes a huge difference. Short refusals like “not allowed” — especially when you’re on holiday and with children — give the impression that you are tolerated, not welcomed.

The staff were super friendly. Great location. The room was spacious, and cleaned every day. Plenty of comfortable loungers by the pool even if the pool was busy with kids (peak season). Great buffet breakfast. Would return.

We absolutely loved the hotel, amazing days by the pool in a beautiful garden. I think the pool area, how it’s laid out, the pool bar and the comfy sunloungers are the best part of the hotel, but we were very happy with our stay overall. Easy to walk to restaurants and down to the beach, too. Kids enjoyed the play area, too.

The following is not things “I didn’t like” per se, just suggestions for improvements. We stayed in a family apartment with a kitchenette. If I had to give one piece of feedback it would be to have a few more hooks in the bedroom and bathroom to hang things on - I always find that useful when travelling, to just hang your bags/ hats, beachthings etc somewhere easily accessible. Also a few more kitchen items like a cork screw or bottle opener would have been nice. I understand it’s preferable from the hotel’s perspective that guests pay for drinks in the bar, but these items would be nice to include in a self-catering room in my opinion.

We had a very good experience at Pilalidis hotel. Both pool’s are very nice and clean,garden is great,always clean and very well maintained .We were very happy with kids playground wich is generous. Rooms are large and confortable,nice terrace.Cleaning was made everyday and for real. Breakfast is very good,not to many choices but plenty and enough for a morning start.The only minus is pool bar staff wich are beginners but not well trained,have no idea how to make a cocktail or a coffee but is still expensive for a drink.Pool bar is ok for beer,water,ice cream and snack bar is very good. Distance to the beach and tavernas is max 5min walking,also short distance to the shops. Is a very nice and quiet hotel,we definitely recommend this place and would love to come back.
