Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomCould have done with sockets near the bed, but not a big deal.
The staff were amazing! Very friendly and helpful, even giving us a room upgrade. The breakfast was very good. In the heart of Delphi (which I highly recommend as a welcoming and not overly packed little town), an easy walk to the archaeological site.

United KingdomGeorge, the owner, was exceptional. We phoned to say that we would be arriving late, around 11 pm. No problem. On the way we had to adjust that to midnight. No problem. When we arrived at midnight, not only had he put cones out to keep us a parking place in the street outside the hotel but he was standing there waiting for us! Good rooms, great breakfast. In the morning, he advised us on exactly where to park for the Delphi archaeological site (the reason we were there) so that we would have a shorter walk with no risk of a ticket.

AustraliaStaying in the small town of Delfoi is an added bonus to a visit to the Delphi archeological site. The village has such character and so does Pitho. Our hosts were so hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble. We would love to visit again!

United KingdomOnly thing parking is public street parking, we had a car and needed to go around the street 3 times before finding a spot to park.
The property was exactly what we needed for a one night stay, nice clean room right in the centre, we could walk to the museum and archeological site from there. Staff really friendly

United Arab EmiratesThe hotel has its entrance on the main road and the parking in this street is always a challenge. A solution could be to drop off the luggage first and find parking further away from the property. It's not an issue during the low season when we visited Delphi.
We took a room with two separate single beds which had a very comfortable mattress (not too hard and not too soft). The pillows are not soggy and give good neck support. Clean sheets, which smell freshly washed and clean towels in the room. The bathroom was a separate room with a shower. There was plenty of hot water, but when opened the cold water, it dominates, hence the flow needs to be kept low. There was a kettle with coffee, tee, cups and everything was clean. The owner, George, greeted us upon arrival and gave us instructions and suggestions of the interesting places to visit in the area. Very helpful and talkative host. The room was on the second floor so had to climb some stairs, but we had light luggage, so no issue. The room was quiet and located in the back side, away from the front street noise. The breakfast was plentiful and many options of items to choose from (omelet, cereals, meat-cuts, feta cheese, eggs, sweets, biscuits, fruits). Also freshly toasted bread. The coffee was freshly made from a machine per liking. We also liked the home-made cheese and spinach pie (tiropita, spanakopita).

GhanaThe room is all you need: clean, spacious and with a comfortable bed. Location is great: you can easily walk to the Delphi site and museum. We came by car and although often you cannot park in front of the hotel, it was no problem to find a space a bit further. Restaurants are all within walking distance. George, the owner, was absolutely fantastic. We left something in the hotel and he made the effort to mail it to us without charging anything.

Our room was very clean and comfortable, with all expected comforts and more including coffee and a beautiful outdoor balcony area. The shower was ace as was the breakfast - a fabulous spread was available. We wished we could have stayed longer in this wonderful location. Just 10 mins walk from the Delphi archeological site. Highly recommend 🌟

AustraliaIt is close to the centre of town, which made finding parking a little more difficult.
The staff were lovely, giving us recommendations for restaurants both in the town and on the way to our next location and telling us about the local area. The room decor is a little dated, but very clean and comfortable.

The host was very friendly and gave us a lot of information. The room and bathroom were clean and big enough. Breakfast was also very good, plenty of choice. You can walk to the museum and archeologic site. There are also many restaurants in the neighborhood. Parking is a bit more difficult because the street is busy during daytime.
