Reviews of Plaka Arch Suites

Plaka Arch Suites was incredible. The owner met us when we arrived and remembered my name and helped us with our many large bags! They allowed us to check in early and were very helpful! A welcome bottle of wine awaited us, as well as two water bottles. The location was very close to the ruins, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We had to leave by 7:15am, so they set out the free breakfast at 7 instead of 7:30am for us! And it was amazing. And he organized a private transport to the airport as well, which was on time and very nice. Highly recommend Plaka Arch Suites! :)

Excellent location near Acropolis!

The host, Mr. Thanos is so kind to greet guests, friendly chat with welcome white wine was unforgettable. Room is tidy and clean at all. Location is convenient to key visit locations. The most important is the building with elevator built-in. No need to move up heavy luggage upstairs.

We were late going to breakfast and therefore coffee, orange juice, milk, fruit etc were not at their best.

In a prime position in Plaka, walking distance to Acropolis, Parthenon and other ruins as well as other suburbs like Monasteraki and Psyri. Very reasonably priced and excellent breakfast.

The rooftop and spa is only accessible to one certain room that we weren't booked into and this wasn't clear when booking.

The website is very misleading-the shot of the Acropolis is ONLY from one room. It appears to be a shared roof top with a seating area and a hot tub. The breakfast room was a covered outdoor with a very noisy and hot exhaust from the air conditioner unit. The "Suites" were just a normal room.

Spotlessly clean room with superb facilities. Comfortable bed with much needed AC. Thanos was fantastic, and available when needed. Brilliant location for exploring Athens, on the edge of Plaka and 4 minutes walk from the Acropolis. Highly recommend Plaka Arch Suites!

Small elevator but we did have an elevator.

Very well located in the heart of Plaka, this hotel had an excellent room, housekeeping very attentive, very quiet and peaceful, excellent for holidays with family. Thanos, the owner, is very dependable for every need, he works with his family in the hotel and the gelato shop next door (excellent gelato, as well). I'd stay again whenever I'm back in Athens.

Narrow alley, difficult for larger vehicles to get to the property. Since we hired a van service, this was a little uncomfortable since we had to meet in the main road close by. It's was close, but with luggage it can be a challenge. Thanos family helped us, though.

Water went everywhere from the shower could be noisy to the streets outside.

Spacious and well equipped rooms. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Freshly cooked breakfast to order was delicious.
