Reviews of Play Psyri Athens

A nice room with everything we needed really. High points for the location. Also the street noises didn't bother us much. Not even when there were restaurants and bars around and semi loud music. Very easy to come and go with door codes. A big thanks to the staff for sharing the self check-in instructions such a last minute.

Some small errors in the room: some flickering light, a tv was not working and a safety box ran out of battery.

Big spacious room, comfortable bed, very friendly staff, and in a great location in Athens within walking distance of Monastriki, Acropolis, etc.

No elevator, but the staff were kind enough to take our baggage up for us. Also there are a lot of restaurants with music playing at night so if you're an early sleeper or a light sleeper, it might be a problem for you.

A lovely hotel with a wonderful staff, in the best imaginable location in Athens. The room was comfortable and the bed excellent. .

My room was on the second floor (which, in terms of stairs, could easily be considered the third or even fourth), and getting up there with a 23-kilo suitcase was no easy task. I would have expected to be made aware of this in advance

The room was lovely and modern very clean and in the ideal spot in psyri which we loved staying in. The staff were really nice and helpful, our hairdryer broke and by the next day we had a new one. There is a lot of reviews about it being loud we were on floor B and couldn’t hear anything. The bed is very comfy and we slept really well. The curtains are blackout which was perfect in the summer sun. We will be returning to Athens and will definitely be staying here again we loved it!

Nothing

All of what you want if you are a couple especially, near to a lots of restaurants bars and terraces. The vibes in the area is outstanding, the street level studio is very nice have a unique experience especially if its weekend. The other rooms are very nice and suitable. The staff in general where super nice and welcoming.

Location of the property is worth noting, and I am very satisfied with it.

Room B3, the Air Conditioner was not working properly and even after informing the house keeping people many times it wasn’t solved.

Great location next to an amazing taverna. Very talented musicians. Who made us enjoy Greece at its best ץ Wonderful staff!! The receptionist is extremely helpful. Comfortable bed, basic and airy rooms. We loved the balcony. I will be back also because of the taverna.

No elevator. Basic rooms.

Perfect and pleasant location, close to the main squares restaurants and shopping. Completely renovated. No keys needed, only codes. Air conditioner. Great nice and kind staff. good beds, great shower, nice small balcony where you can hear and see the singers from the tavern until midnight. The music was not so loud and the windows blocked most of it on the second floor.

Perfect location in the colorful neighborhood of Psyri, close to plenty of restaurants, bars ans cafes. The room was clean and comfortable and staff was very nice.

The balcony of the room was not like in the photos which was a bit disappointing.

noise from outside, towels were not clean in the room so I asked to change them.

We loved everything about Play Psyri Athens from the location, to the room, the staff, the cleanliness! It is located perfectly, everything is walking distance or if it is too hot short cheap uber ride. Dining options around are all great and lots of nice bars for the evening!

There was nothing we didn't like. That being said, if you are someone that sleeps early it may not be the best option as the street is lively (with great live local music) until midnight-ish.

Comfy bed, bright room

Extremely. noisy - poor sound insulation. If you aren't going there to party just avoid this hotel.

Our room was lovely and modern and clean. Lovely kitchenette and en suite was lovely. Comfy bed. Spacious room.

Our room was up 3 flight of concrete stairs with little hand railings. Dangerous stairs. Our lady receptionist on Monday help bring up our cases which we thought was lovely gesture. We had a lot as we were just off a cruise and had a lot of luggage. The issue of stairs might not affect you if you travelled lighter. But you need to be go on your feet to climb up and down them.
