Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

The location is within walking distance of everything, so you don't even need to take your car outside of the beach. There's nothing to complain about regarding the cleanliness. Everything, down to the spare pillows, was thought of. There were water in the fridge and small snacks for coffee. Also the host kept in constant communication and asked if we had any problems. If we go back, we'll definitely choose this place again.

The owner was helpful and sent detailed information about parking places. However, if there had been free parking, it would have been perfect to stay since the apartment is in the heart of the city.
A clean, quiet, convenient apartment with a great location. Definitely come back, would be my first choice. The owner was very helpful and answered all our questions.

The apartment was very clean and beautiful and had everything we needed. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. Both the harbour and the bus terminal were close by. Even though it is on a busy street in the heart of the town, once the windows are closed it is very quiet and relaxing. Overall an excellent choice.

Cleanness.
We like everything here. Great location, clean, ac in the living room and in the bedroom, clean shower and kitchen and all the other areas, late self checkin available, host provided clear instructions and they are responsive. I would stay here again.

The host responded to our questions promptly, apartment has everything you need and very well located. The building is under construction; however, we didn’t hear any sound, which was great. Pillows could be more comfortable. Providing a special offer for parking is also thoughtful touch. We are definitely goinG back.

Everything was marvellous in our stay. The room has everything we need..The location of the house is excellent , the entrance of the room is easy and they provide parking lot for a reasonable fee. The host was replying our questions in a minute. We really enjoyed our short stay in Magico.

The apartment was very clean , with everything g you need in . You didn't need a key for the entrance because of the the touch screen lock. It was exactly in the city centre. Very friendly owners. I totally recommended.

We were also surprised that the entrance of the building, which I had read in other comments before, was a bit old and did not look very safe. However the elevator worked smoothly and the entrance to the apartment we stayed in was clean and locked with a password. Compare to other alternatives, the price was a bit higher. But definitely worth it.
It was a modern, large, clean apartment in the center of the city, within walking distance to everywhere. With very good communication, they helped us both with parking reservations and whatever information we needed. Crackers, water, jam, cookies, juice were available along with coffee and tea. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Towels were clean and soft. Everything for the kitchen was clean and provided in sufficient quantities. The bonus :) The café/bar named Eccentrico, located right next to the building, was one of the most popular and best venues in the city. I will definitely make it a priority to stay in Alexandroupoli on my future trips.

The apartment entrance is a little bit scary but okey.
Well equipped, soaky clean apartment, friendly and helpful staff, so close to city center and markets. We felt like at our own house and definitely recommend for holidays.

The room was modern, tidy and clean. There is a washing machine to wash your bathing suits and towels after the beach, which is a plus. Bed in the bedroom was comfortable, sofa bed was ok, it was a bit firm. There were complimentary snacks and waters in the room. Entrance to the apartment was easy and secure. A very nice place to stay! Thank you very much.

Car access is a bit difficult due to city centre bussy area
Verry nice apartment in the city centre of Alexandroupoli, with all necessary facilities to accommodate, precisely as described on site. Verry close to restaurants, coffee and shopping areas. Parking nearby offered at half price.
