How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very clean and spacious. Near the port, the town centre and the bus station. We had a great time. The owners were friendly and welcoming.

This property is truly amazing - an absolute gem in Naxos! It’s incredibly spacious (perfect for our family of five), spotless, beautifully maintained, and so comfortable it felt like home from the moment we arrived. The location couldn’t be better - just a short, easy walk to the heart of Naxos Town (Chora), with shops, restaurants, the port, and everything you need close by. It’s also in the perfect spot for exploring some of the most breathtaking beaches in Greece. The hosts were beyond wonderful - so warm, kind, and genuinely committed to making our stay unforgettable. We felt so welcomed and cared for. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. It exceeded every expectation!

1 score less for the view of both balconies and the outside of the property which wasn’t very pleasant.
10/10 for the lovely, kind and respectful owner. So laid back and easy going. Thank you! 10/10 for cleanliness, crisp clean sheets, plenty of fluffy towels, location and spacious comfortable house. We explored the whole Chora on foot with a stroller and didn’t have a problem. Very close (8-10min walk) to the beautiful St George’s beach. Filter coffee machine with filter coffee as well as espresso machine with coffee pods was provided. Please kindly change the pillows, they are VERY BIG 😊 and same size pillow was provided in the kids room for our two years old.

I'm a bit too fat for the ensuite toilet:) It's manageable, but it is a tight space. Much preferred to only one water closet when travelling with another couple though, so thankful for that.
Amazing host. Extremely welcoming and kind, and very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and local amenities. Apartment is very spacious and well equipped. The location is great. It's quiet but a short walk to all of the shops and restaurants. Within walking distance of the port (if you come by ferry), even with luggage. Highly recommend.

Try as we did we failed to find a single fault in the place.
Going the extra mile, that' s how we would like to describe the indulgence shown by Matina and her family. We have no hesitation in recommending this as the very first choice in Naxos.

The location was amazing! Walking distance to everything and on a quiet street. The place was clean and charming. It had everything we needed such as A/C, a coffee pot and a washing machine.The hosts were so friendly and helpful! It really was perfect! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone else!

There is nothing to dislike about this property. It's not far from the main town, the hosts are wonderful, and the property is truly amazing. There is everything a family might need.
The hosts were very concerned about our comfort and experience.

The host was incredibly kind and responsive - they went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. The apartment is large and very clean. It's a short walk to the town, castle, and the main city beach. Would definitely recommend!

Porta home has a big space for my two years old son to play around. And also very clean. We walk to the center of Naxos within 5 minutes. Restaurant & Super market are also close by. And in the night its quiet and there’s not much people passing by the house make it excellent. And Matina and Antonis always reply very fast. We probably come again to this house when we visit Naxos again 😊

The property was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect, just a 5 minute walk from all shops and restaurants in Chora. The amenities provided exceeded our expectations. The best part of our stay was the host, really kind and hospitable, and always available in case we needed something. Matina, the hostess she even surpised us with a box of chocolate croissants:)

Nothing - everything was amazing :)
Such a beautiful space, newly renovated with lots of room. Had a beautiful terrace up top to have drinks and also had a washing machine that worked great! Close walk to Naxos main area, a short walk to the grocery store, and 16 minutes walk to Saint George beach. Air conditioning was amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked with nespresso pods and everything you needed. Such a great stay and worth it - 6 people stayed and we were all very comfortable! Our hosts Matina and Antonis were so friendly, helpful, they even brought us croissants and bought us a round of drinks!

Nothing , could not have wished for better
The standard of the facilities and comfort were exceptional , the location was fantastic - close to port and old town were all the best restaurants can be found. Short walk to the main beach but I would suggest you rent a car to see the other great beaches on the Island . The host was extremely helpful and was really invested in ensuring that you enjoyed your holiday . Would definitely recommend !

Everything! This is a 5* property in every way - extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and fitted out with everything a family or group of friends could need for their stay in Naxos. 10 min walk to port/town and 25 minute walk to local beach.
