A laundry facility would make the stay more comfortable and improve the overall service.

The location is fantastic. The apartment was cleaned and the towels were changed every day. Karathona Beach is wonderful, just a few minutes by car from the center.

We were told there was no sun parasol for the roof terrace as it was broken- however m, it turned up on the sun terrace on our last day. Stairs from main bedroom to upstairs bedroom/kitchen area are quite dangerous and would not be suitable for young children or those with mobility issues. There were a total of 107 steps down to the main streets from the apartment and of course after an evening out- 107 steps back up! Very tiring in the heat of summer. Communication with staff was very poor and they did not tell us hardly anything about the property

The bed in our room was two single beds with a mattress topper, so it was less comfortable when towards the centre of the bed as we slept as a couple. Each morning we were woken by the sound of heavy running water through the building pipes which was unexpected and we weren't sure where it was from. The cleanliness under the bed was not great on the first night (very dusty, dead bugs).

The room was beautiful and comfortable, but the bathroom less so. Nice location and good stay overall, except for the pillows. The pillows were very uncomfortable.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the hotel is located on a hill so there are a few flights of stairs to climb. It won't be a major issue unless you have mobility problems. The floor was not the cleanest and there were very few places within the room to hang our towels to dry (but there was a clothesline outdoors, on the rooftop).

The hotel staff was very helpful, we arrived before our stated check-in time and the reception was closed at the time. I contacted the hotel by messaging them via the Booking.com app and the staff quickly rushed to the hotel so we could get into the room. He gave us good restaurant recommendations. In terms of the room, the beds were clean and comfortable and the rooftop had a really good view of the surrounding area. There are two toilets in the room, one on the lower floor and the other on the upper floor. There is one shower area, located in the upper floor toilet.

I would have liked to know that the room was up a substantial number of stairs before booking. And that the keys were back down the stairs at the reception of the hotel next door. My travel companion has mobility issues on stairs, so this information was important.

The bathroom needs some serious attention. The area around the faucet in the shower cabin is a disaster and the light is miserable.

63 steps to the apartment, extra 17 steps to my room. The response from management was non existent. No check in/out info! Didn’t know where to check in. The name for checkin place is different from actual room location! I walked at top of stairs and the guy just happened to be checking someone in. He said checkin was “down there”. Great! Communicate that prior to checkin!! The guy gave me his WhatsApp. I asked for an iron, never responded. Just left me on read.

It was not clear at booking that it would be a long walk from car park, then over 70 steps to the hotel, then another flight to the room. We’re in good shape for mid 70’s BUT this was tough!

The room had a wonderful view with two balconies and a window facing the castle, which was stunning. Very clean. The reception staff were very helpful and eager to assist with anything we needed.

This room is not for the mobility impaired. It was fine for us, but there are ~40 steps to get to the front door, and then a narrow staircase to the room and more stairs to get to the upstairs bedroom and balcony. Just a word of caution......

The view from our room was exceptional, we had a giant patio and we didn't want to leave the patio to go to dinner! We enjoyed watching the sunset from the patio every night. The front desk staff was very helpful with recommendations for food and where to park.

I liked everything, but be prepared for a the steps, especially when you arrive with your luggage.

The property was close to the centre of town, it had a wonderful view from the balcony, it was clean and comfortable and serviced daily.

Toilet took some time to fully flush. Steep climb to property...you get used to it, but you have to be fit to get your luggage up to the room.

Great location, king size bed was very comfortable. Towels replaced daily, great toiletries, strong air conditioning, a balcony with nice views, very friendly staff
