Beautiful location, great taverna in town

If I have to add something, I would appreciate a kettle in the room, but I mention this as an extra. Everything was super nice. The staff super friendly and helpful.

Lovely eco-friendly hotel with character, in the middle of nature, super clean, spacious rooms. The mountain view from the balcony was fantastic. The breakfast super fresh, homely made and delicious.

Stunning views, exceptionally comfortable room and excellent service. We ate here in the evening as the taverna was shut during the week and had the most delicious Greek pies. Lovely walks in the area. Recommended.

The taverna in the village was closed, so we had to eat early in Mystras because the village is so far from anywhere else. The owner was good enough to inform us of this in advance.

Beautiful property in a stunning setting. Our room was very comfortable & spotlessly clean. The staff made us feel so welcome. The breakfast buffet was beyond expectation - a huge choice of homemade hot & cold food including fabulous cakes & pastries. Nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed using the cafe/bar for morning coffee & evening drinks sat on the balcony with stunning views of the mountains. This is truly a place to experience peace & quiet as well as de stress from the demands of everyday life. We can’t recommend it enough.

2nd visit because I love the deco, location, the views, the exhaustive breakfast buffet prepared by lovely Rosy. We only stayed one night on the way back to Athens. But well worth it. Adonis and Kostas offer a warm welcome. The bar/lounge is beautifully decorated with art on the wall, and wide selection of bottles. Good music.

The shower could be more comfortable, the water pressure was low, and the woods near the fireplace were hard to light. Even so, these things did not affect our great experience.

We came off season, so the village was empty, and the whole surroundings was very quiet and peaceful. The stuff was lovely, we really enjoyed the lounge and the hotel facilities, the food was great in the hotel and in both nearby tavernas. Beautiful and versatile hikes right from the hotel, and even got to have some snow - that just made everything a bit more magical:)

I honestly can't think of anything. For us, it was pure luxury combined with a laid-back atmosphere - we felt right at home. I only wish we could have stayed a little longer.

We had a truly wonderful time at the Pritanio. The surroundings are beautiful, there are nice taverns very close by that serve good authentic food, and by sheer luck, we happened to stay there at the weekend when the Experience Festival took place in the neighboring village of Vamvakou. We didn't even know about it, the owners of the hotel made us aware of it as they were looking for activities to keep our kids entertained in the heat. Which brings me to the best thing about this beautiful place - the people who built it and are running it. It was such a pleasure chatting with them, thank you, Marguerite! Breakfast is a mix of a very varied buffet and freshly cooked local specialties that change daily. In the evening, sitting on the beautiful terrace with a glass of wine and taking in the star-studded night sky is a wonderfully relaxing experience. I'm pretty sure it's also very nice and cozy in winter, judging by the huge fireplace in the comfortable bar area. To sum up: the Pritanio and also the villages and landscapes surrounding it are well worth a detour from the beaches of the Peloponnese!
