The Staff were amazing and super attentive. The room was super tidy and clean The property was close enough to the town to walk however was in a quiet area perfect for relaxing. Easy to get to Naxos town with a 5 minute walk to the bus stop and a 20 minute bus ride.

We had a wonderful stay at this family-owned hotel. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. The location is perfect, close to both the beach and the town. The room was bright, clean, and comfortable with a lovely balcony and a beautiful sea view. Highly recommended.

Luxurious rooms in a well run hotel. 10 minute walk to Prokopias Beach, slightly longer to Prokopias town that has great restaurants. Lovely swimming pool. If you don't want to stay in the heart of the busy town, this is a good option.

Really great experience. The Staff was amazing, very nice and friendly with a very familiar approach. Located 5 minutes walking from the best beach in Naxos, Proteas provide you a very comfortable and silent experience. Food is amazing and there you feel you are at home. I´ll definitely come back to this Hotel. Also you can find some lovely cats who are very friendly and will "clean" all your bad energies and provide you an excellent vibes.

Amazing hotel with a stunning view and large pool. We had the jacuzzi balcony room and I was large and well appointed. The staff was always cleaning and always helpful. We had many of the breakfast items and they were all very good. Large portions and very fresh. The staff was helpful with our group and also with making drinks for us. Absolutely gorgeous flowers and the stunning view! I can’t say enough. Very comfortable stay.

Would have been nice if it was a little closer to the beach and public transport that wasn’t full, but wasn’t too bad a walk.

We had a junior suite with coffee machine which was perfect for our needs. Aircon was great, room lovely and clean and well appointed. Was lovely to have the pool, which was a good size, and that you could order food at the restaurant if you wanted to.

The mattresses where a little hard would be my only negative thing about the whole stay for 10 days!!!

Location was perfect for getting around the island and beach close with lots of sunbed!!!!

We stayed in a family suite and it was a little less impressive the other units our family stayed in (they were couples without kids). Our room was on a bit of a busy road and a lack of double glazing meant there was some traffic noise. Our bed was also a bit uncomfortable but I am sure they would have remedied this is we had asked. The staff went above and beyond for other requests. The bathroom was also quite small and not as newly renovated as some of the other units but was functional.

This family run hotel was neat, clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Our room was comfortable and large, and airconditioned. The pool was clean and the food that can be ordered at the hotel was great. Mary and her family were super helpful and kind. There is parking for a rented car and I would suggest hiring. The walk down to restaurants and the beach is short but up a bit of a hill. In the heat or with groceries it could be taxing for some.

Lovely family run, clean hotel, great pool, staff very friendly and helpful. 5 minute walk from bus stop at Lagos Mare for buses to Chora and Plaka/Agia Anna. Approximately 10 minute walk down to Agios Prokopios (bit harder back up the slight hill in the heat of the day). Food at breakfast delicious - no buffet just order from menu - reasonably priced.

Family hosts were welcoming and professional. Property is beautiful, peaceful and in a great location within walking distance to the quiet Marandi Beach with views of Athens town as well as to the bustling Agios Prokopias beach strip. A wide breakfast and drinks menu options with home grown food. Rooms are clean and spacious.

We had a wonderful stay at Proteas Hotel! The setting is beautiful—nestled in a quiet and charming area, yet just a short walk from both Agios Prokopios town and the stunning beach. The hotel itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra comfortable. One of the highlights was the pool—crystal clear, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Breakfast each morning was a real treat, with a delicious variety of fresh options that set us up perfectly for the day. The service was truly top-notch. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were always ready with helpful local recommendations. You can tell they take great pride in the hotel and care deeply about their guests’ experience. All in all, Proteas Hotel was the perfect base for exploring Naxos and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Highly recommended!

Lacking some basic cooking utensils. However we just asked at the reception and they lent us what we needed.

Hotel is in a good location about 7 min walk to the beach and a 10 min walk to Agios Prokopios village, making it a quiet but convenient location. Nice views towards the sea from top of the hotel. Good size family room with a small kitchen. Nice and clean pool area, with a very deep pool. Well priced hotel restaurant. Lovely staff!

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing family-run hotel! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The hosts were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location is ideal—peaceful and scenic, especially if you have a car, but also within walking distance (about 15 minutes) to one of the best beaches on Naxos. The pool is great for both adults and kids, and the charming architecture and peaceful setting really add to the experience. A lovely bonus: they bring breakfast right to your room or terrace if you wish, which made for some truly relaxing mornings. We can highly recommend this hotel, and if we return to Naxos, we’ll definitely consider staying here again!

Having to leave 😢

Absolutely everything, from the friendly check in, staff, to the friendly check out. Exceptionally clean, quiet accommodation very close to the best beaches, with cheap chairs and umbrellas, heaps of restaurants, a few shops, and only a 10 minute drive into the main town of Chora, which has a huge amount of shops and restaurants, bus stop 300 metres away. Beautiful pool, kept in pristine condition, highly recommend, I would definitely stay again.
