The water pressure in the shower was low but when we asked them they replaced the shower head the very next day, which solved the problem. A microwave owen would be helpful in the appartment...

Our host, Dimitris was very helpful and friedly. He and his family runs the Tavern located on the ground floor of the building with great selection of delicious foods with reasonable price and large portions. One evening we ordered pizza and they even brought that up to us to the appartment located on the second floor. The appartment was clean, large and nicely fitted and decorated. A large bottle of water and fruit juice waited us in the fridge. There was also a freezer in the appartment just as a large smart TV with Netflix, Youtube and other apps in the living room too. The balcony faced towards the see with an amazing view, which was nice but the waves were sometimes loud when the balcony doors were open. As there was air condition in the rooms it can be easily solved. Dimitris upon our request even gave us a scale to measure our luggage to make sure to be under the weight limit. The beach is right in front of the building and we always managed to find a parking place within 20 meters of the appartment. The sandy beach is small but not crowded with a shower. Sunbeds can be taken to the beach from the garden of the appartment, which has a small playground for little kids. The see was not cold and shallow for several meters long, therefore also ideal for small kids. We did some swiming and snorkeling too, moreover in the early hours (8-9 am) we mananged to find and swim with a turtle 2-3 times not too far (50-100 m) from the shore. There are many restaurants and also a shop in walking distance. We did a lot of trips with the rented car to many parts of Zakintos.

The wonderful couple who run/own this property are incredibly kind and accommodating. The property is in such a beautiful location where you can watch the waves just outside your window. Truly such a beautiful experience.

The shower temperature and pressure is a bit unpredictable. The kitchen equipment was very basic but after we asked for an additional pot and pan they provided it with a smile. These small details did not affect our experience at all.

The location is perfect. The view from the balcony is amazing. The water at the beach next to the apartment is shallow and crystal clear so it is perfect for swimming and as we visited end of the season it was quiet. The hosts are friendly and always ready to help you with anything. The taverna that they run is reasonably priced and serves good food. The apartment is equipped with all the basics that you would need and it was very clean when we arrived.

This was a very last minute mini-break at the end of the season. It turned out to be the most fabulous stay! A beautiful sea view apartment, right by the beach. All the facilities you could wish for, including a comfortable bed and super shower. This is a very peaceful location, and most of the time I had the beach area to myself. The sea was crystal clear and so calm for swimming. I loved the fact the taverna was underneath the apartments and I enjoyed really lovely, traditional Greek food there each evening with a beautiful sea view. Best of all, the hosts were absolutely wonderful - so friendly, generous and helpful. It really was the perfect, relaxing stay on Zakynthos.

Our stay was INCREDIBLE. We couldn't have asked for a better place to be on this beautiful island. The location is excellent, literally right at the beach. The food at the tavern is amazing as well, try something if you stay here! But what stood out the most is the fantastic staff, super friendly and helpful, they were ready to assist with whatever we needed at all times. Always kind and smiling, lovely people. I loved everything!

The property is in an amazing location literally “on the sea”, as if the sea were just outside of your bedroom. I staid in the apartment on the second floor. Every night I slept with the wonderfully healing sound of the waves, waking up to a palette of turquoise painting the sea, incredibly crystal clear, every day in a slightly different shade. Dimitris and Dionisia, the owners, are gracious hosts, kind and reserved but always ready to go the extra mile for you. They also run their traditional tavern below the studios, but fear not as from the rooms the only sound you will hear is always but the sea. The studios are positioned in a great spot island wise as everything “touristic” is reachable by a short drive. I will definitely recommend it, as it’s been the most enchanting staying I have ever had in Greece. Simple, but so magical, and deeply relaxing.

It was perfect for our needs.

The location was incredible - right on the quiet, sandy beach, with the most wonderful view of Kefalonia, we had the upper floor apartment which had a private balcony. We could see the sea from the bedrooms and lounge. The sand sloped off very gently, very safe, and the sea was the most beautiful colour. The taverna, part of the property, served excellent well priced food - we hardly ate anywhere else - and the hosts and staff were so friendly and helpful.

This is a charming, very quiet little place by a small beach. The balcony faces the neighboring island of Kefalonia. The view is spectacular, and you hear only the waves on the beach at night. There is a small garden with sunbeds too, and the taverna offers very nice food. Perfect for just relaxing and some swimming.

Grao place to stay if you want a peaceful place, near to great beaches and an incredible view. There are many markets, restaurants and places to go. I'd definitely go back again. I appreciate all recommendations and the days Ive spent there!

they have no breakfast but I knew it before booking it, would be great to have the option ;) the shower is very strong and hot but very small ;)

staff are really nice/helpful, room in front of the sea, we slept with the windows open to listening to the waves :) hot shower air con but I didn’t use it! taste food from the restaurant ;) You must have a car to staying there but the location is good to explore the island, you are in the middle of the main attraction;)

we order few dishes at the tavern and it was not Greek standards, so this part was a bit disappointing - even tho the restaurant is not part of the studio.

the studio has everything you need and the view is amazing! be sure to rent a car, but is worthy every penny. after exploring other neighborhoods we were so happy that we chose Psarou for our vacation. and make sure to save at least half day to enjoy the garden with sea view and the beach.

Leaving and returning home

The location was amazing! Definitely recommend, the hosts were brilliant and the restaurant downstairs was good (I loved the mixed souvlaki and the steak was huge!). A mosquito net is also found on the balcony doors and I loved the cats that live nearby. Parking was not an issue and even though our plane arrived later than expected, the host was understanding and really helpful. The sea was nice and warm, it is a sandy beach with a few rocks but is definitely one of the more sandy beaches of Zakynthos. The beach is literally a stones throw away from the studio and you can hear the sea from the bed (which we loved). On the last night, we asked to eat upstairs in the room as there was a mild storm, we received room service which was lovely of the owners. Will definitely return at some point!

The studio has everything you need for a longer stay and was very clean! It is right next to a beach which was very nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The taverna beneath the studio’s had very tasty food. I recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet place away from the busy spots on the island.
