How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Our only complaint was that the jacuzzi jets on the tub on the balcony weren't working. But it was still a nice soak after a day of walking around Athens.
The room was lovely and the bed was wonderful - I rarely sleep so well in hotel beds. The bathroom was very clean and modern. The staff were very helpful, esp over Booking messages, and the breakfasts were outstanding. Also the bar on roof was great. Not much of a view but the bartender was so friendly and a master mixologist.

I stayed at the hotel with my family — 13 of us in total. A lot could have gone wrong, but everything was great! The staff were super helpful, patient, and always smiling. The rooms and the whole hotel were very clean, and the location was perfect — we could walk everywhere easily. The breakfast was also amazing — just like at home. I highly recommend this place! Actually, we all highly recommend this hotel.

It didn't happen to us, but others were complaining that they didn't get quite rooms and on weekends it becomes quite loud in the surroundings. Take precautions when booking if you have light sleep
Quite centrally located, 24/7 front desk, if you have to check in late. Breakfast was good. Value for money ok, more on the pricey side.

The location is perfect, in the city center, very close to the metro station. rooms are cleaned every day.

The hotel is right in the city center, and all the tourist attractions are easily accessible on foot. The clean and modern rooms felt comfortable and safe. We will definitely visit again. Additionally, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had to reschedule our reservation for a later date, and they assisted us quickly without any extra charge.

A Perfect Stay for Our Family at Pure Hotel by Athens Prime Hotels. Our family of six recently had the pleasure of staying at Pure Hotel by Athens Prime Hotels from February 14-17, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, and every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. We booked a family suite and a double standard room, both of which were beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. The family suite provided ample space for us to relax comfortably, and the double standard room was equally well-appointed. The modern decor and thoughtful amenities made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional staff. From the front desk team to the housekeeping staff, everyone was incredibly welcoming, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay perfect. They even arranged a shuttle service for our arrival and departure, which made our travel so much smoother—such a thoughtful and convenient touch! The breakfast each morning was outstanding. There was a wide variety of fresh, delicious options, catering to all of our preferences. The selection of pastries, fresh fruits, cheeses, and hot dishes was impressive, and the quality was top-notch. It was the perfect way to start our days exploring Athens! The location of the hotel was also fantastic—convenient to many of the city’s attractions while still offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, Pure Hotel by Athens Prime Hotels provided an exceptional stay for our family, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service. Highly recommend! Perfect location, right in the centre and in a walking distance from all the attractions, in the heart of the night life but still very quiet. The stuff was so friendly and helpful, and overall we had a great stay.
