How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewWe loved everything about our stay in Ria Blu! The apartment is spacious, modern, beautifully furnished and very clean. The location was perfect- less than 5 minute walk to the main street. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom perfect for a couple. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony to have a morning coffee und afternoon snack. You can find many parking spots around the building at any time of the day. The lady that took care of the place was super nice and always available if you needed anything! 100/10- we would definitely book it again and recommend it!

Verified reviewThe description of the facilities was very accurate. Very kind hosts. The nearest beach, Paradisos Beach, is 2-3 min. drive away. Free parking right next to the beach. Personal beach accessories can be used. There are a few tavernas, practically on the beach, where you can eat very well.

Will recommend the owners to leave daily or per 2 days shower gel and shampoo like it is in every good hotel/suites. And the one thing I didnt like was the position of the air conditioner - its perfect to have, but not directly blowing you, when you are on the bed.

Verified reviewThe view from our balcony was great, overlooking part of the town and the sea. The neighbourhood was very quiet and quite close to the center of N. Marmaras. The room was modern and spacious with lots of space for our luggage, plus a mini fridge. The bed was very comfortable.
The room was not ready for us when we arrived, although we got there an hour and a half after the minimum check-in time. We felt like they did not expect us to show up, we had to wait for at least another 15 minutes for them to "prepare" the room. The room could be cleaner, there was dust in the closet and water stains in the shower. The shower head was almost clogged with limescale. The hand soap dispenser was empty, and there was no bag in the trash can. The pillows had a weird smell. There was no internet (the owner explained that it was due to the ISP doing some work).

Verified reviewThe property is new and very modern. The location is great, very close to the center, walking distance to shops, coffee shops and restaurants. Easy to find parking and it is in a very quiet area. The view from our room was phenomenal, ocean view with an amazing palm tree just in front of the balcony. The host is one of the kindest people, very helpful, caring and friendly.
I would suggest it will be useful to have a couple of glasses and some soap added. I wish it was a bit cleaner as well but overall it was great.

Verified reviewRooms are amazing, AC is also quite capable of cooling the room. The washroom is spacious and easy to access. The view from the terrace is marvelous. The hill part of the town where the hotel is is out of the busy and loud core and is cooler couple of degrees C.
The internet is virtually nonexistent. This prevents accessing streaming services on the room TV. The credit card machine used to charge at the end of the stay has only a tap and no chip option. If you are from North America, have a limit on your card, and plan on paying through multiple transactions be aware that your card will be blocked. Pay through Booking.com.

It’s very noisy, you can hear every step in corridor, every voice and everytime when someone going up or downstairs. You can’t sleep peacefully, because of the noise from other guests.

I booked 2 rooms, both with “sea view” as listed on booking.com, with very nice sea view pictures for both rooms. However, one of the rooms had apartment views (we were facing apartments that are very close, where people sat in balconies, facing our window.) Also the room was dark. The only reason I booked this place was sea view. When I told this to the owner she said this wasn’t their fault and it was bc booking.com put wrong pictures. She did not accept responsibility, but said she will tell booking.com to change the pictures. She did not do anything for me although she said she was sorry for my frustration. The other room was nice, with the sea view and plenty of day light.

As per the room that you booked has a balcony with a city view and sea view and no one complained before. Therefore this is not a reason to rate us so low, this action though does give us the right to express our disappointment regarding the way you left our rooms. I kept the pictures after you left cause we never faced something similar before and will be sent to booking.com to take actions from their side We are trying to support every request, and really we could change the room if it was possible ( like we have done so many times) but in your case we do not regret it since you did not respect our property and the place that you used for a short stay.

Although it was a fairly okay stay I don’t think the photos really showcase the apartment’s condition. The bathrooms shower tiles were yellow I don’t know why but it was kind of gross. The fridge had dirty spots and the doors and handles were sticky .. I had to wipe them off. The housekeeping was every 3 days which we didn’t like because there were not enough towels and after the beach you want to come back to a clean bed and towels. After the housekeeping I came home to an unlocked door so they obviously forgot to lock the door.. which is not good for obvious reasons. We tried to leave 2 days early but couldn’t get a refund .. we left early anyways and left the keys on the table. The staff is really nice and kind however when it is a family owned business I don’t think they are held up to a higher standards when it comes to hygiene and that was our biggest concerned. Apartment was nice and fairly modern just wish they clean better. If they maintained more and cleaned the room every day then it would have been worth the money, also the least they could do is give more toilet paper, some water and put a coffee machine. There were mugs but no coffee and for now days I think it’s more than normal to have these basic necessities for customers.
Dear Guest, The main issue was that you left the property earlier and you demanded money back. When we explained to you that there was no refund, due to nonrefundable policy as per your reservation than everything went bad. We are sorry that we even tried to offer a complementary stay for two days in the future as a compensation, cause honestly we shouldn't appreciate customers like you. Fist of all as per the regulations of the property, you should proceed for check out and not to leave the key inside the room. Also, a decent guest do not leave the Air Condition operating with balcony doors open when he is sneaking out of the property without notification. Regarding your review and your comments about the cleaning is not even a subject to answer, the regulations and the rules were clearly mentioned to you during the check in. If you didn't like it after you saw your room it was your right to refuse to stay at our property and leave from the beginning (from day one). As per the day that the housekeeping didn't lock the door, FYI when someone PULL and close the door no one can enter unless they have the key, so there was no safety issue. And last comment about operating a family business, plus the comment about the amenities and the daily change of the bedsheets and towels, please not that are given to all our guests exactly as per the value that they are paying (135 Euros per night), We are sorry that you, booked the wrong property moneywise, there are plenty of 5* Hotels in this area that charge the Suite 800 -1000 euros per night in order to offer all the amenities that you mentioned. So, next time be careful, not to get confused please check first the amenities and necessities offered to meet your expectations....

Verified reviewThe room that we booked was spacious, clean with very nice view, regardless that we were able to enjoy it only for half of the stay
For half of our stay we didn’t receive that room that we booked with justification for emergency. This was not the issue, the issue was that even though we didn’t received the room that we booked we were charged for it and not the cheaper one that we received. After a lot of talk we were promised to be compensated, however we were not compensated with the amount that we were promised. This is not fair and the owner and staff behaviour was not acceptable at last.
