How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewI love all-inclusives and this one had a great deal and also included drinks which was amazing I feel like i got my money's worth and they were very helpful while I was there.
Well food isn't going to be perfect ever. They have very simple lunch but everything else was to my standards. It is an older crowd but still a good time.

Verified reviewWe stayed at the hotel for four nights and were very satisfied with our experience. The place was truly value for money – meaning that the quality of the services and amenities we received far exceeded what we expected for the price we paid. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was generous and of good quality. While it wasn’t the cheapest hotel in the area, it definitely felt like every euro was well spent. It’s important to note that "value for money" doesn’t just mean "cheap." A cheap hotel can still be a bad experience – poor cleanliness, poor service – and end up not being worth even the low price. In contrast, a value for money hotel combines reasonable cost with high quality, giving you the feeling that you made a smart choice. This hotel achieved exactly that: it wasn’t just inexpensive — it was a good investment for our holiday.

Verified reviewFantastic getaway experience! The staff is incredible, they'll treat you and your family with respect and a lot of care. They were like family helping us out throughout our 9-night stay with two young children. They helped us plan a day-trip, set up a car rental, and gave us tips about the island. Food and drinks were definitely adequate in quality and the all-inclusive option was perfect for our family. We went to the beach frequently and it was a quick 10-min walk from the property. We stayed in a triple room, spacious enough for the family. Great shower. The room is well designed for families with kids. Overall, I can definitely imagine coming back to Roseland for another trip.
Everything was great.

Verified reviewThe hotel itself was beautiful ❤️, I would return. I had a large hotel booked in laganas originally, however I swapped to here and so glad I did. Staff were so helpful and amazing, food was lovely, pool-gorgeous.. all 3! Location, spectacular. Room-perfect, shower was lovely, nice little pool view balcony!
Okk, so the entertainment wasn't ample, we landed Thursday, had an hour's entertainment Thursday & Friday evening, nothing at the weekend and bingo Monday which was literally half an hour. Then nothing til we left again Thursday. The weather wasn't great sat and Sunday so we were really quite bored with being unable to go in the pool or sit on the beach. In the photos theres pingpong as well as pool, there was only one pool table. The all-inclusive was very minimalistic although the food was nice, and the bar literally had a couple of spirits and mixers. I would return as it was a family holiday and we wanted days out etc- the good outweighs the bad, but there could do with being more at the hotel with it being all inclusive -the point being you don't want to be out all the time and kids get bored easily. Pool closes at 6 and then dinner 7-9, no entertainment until 9:30pm so yeah- that was the main inconvenience.

room is outdated, very small for three adults. food is very average, but nothing to expect for this price.

Verified reviewThe hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. All the areas were very clean, and during meals the tables were cleaned regularly. The lunch and dinner was delucious. Even though there were only about 25-30 people in the hotel, there was a great variety of dishes. We could taste some Greek specialities, but they even prepared Goulash Beef (Hungarian speciality) for us, and it was excellent! The room was comfortable. It was cleaned every day and the towels were changed every day. We had a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool was very clean. Fortunately the weather was warm enough to swim in the pool (October 12-16). We could take the drinks to the pool area in plastic glasses. The beach was close to the hotel, especially through the back door of the garden. At the reception we could pay for the trip to Navaggio, Caves and Xiga beach. They picked up from tje hotel and took us back, so it was very comfortable. We got lunchbag. On Thursday evening there was a Greek cultural event with traditional Greek dances. We were taught how to dance, and had much fun. In the snack bar there was fresh pizza every day. We could sit at the terrace of the restaurant, and we coul see the pool. There was BBC news on TV.
I was very satisfied with everything. Just one little thing to mention that there was not too big variety of ham, salami and cheese, but it was not a problem for me, because the bacon was excellent. I would also mention that even though there was a timetable for buses, we did not see any publuc transport busses.

Verified reviewThe staff were very friendly and helpful. They let us check in earlier and offered refreshments whilst waiting. We booked this hotel as we had an early morning flight and had to leave our other hotel. All in all, a pleasant stay for 1 night
The food wasn't great, however there was lots of choice. The salads were very fresh

Verified reviewI found the answer to the question was always YES (with a smile). In the words of the receptionist - just ask. If you wanted different music played in the bar area - no problem, what would you like. Could I have an extension to the checkout time - yes - no mention of additional cg=charge. Just brilliant!!!
Being hyper critical, the entertainment could have been better. (But it was the hotels last week before they close for winter).
