We were looking for a quiet area but not so far away from main attractions and beaches and that's what we found here. Also, you can find bakeries and supermarket near the property like around 1 km far away. The property itself offers all the amenities that you may need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed it a lot as its also really spacious.

The lady who took care of us was really nice, kind and helpful. The apartment was very spacious, very clean (every day cleaning) and nicely decorated. It takes about 25 min from the centre of Naxos but we didn’t mind as we had rented a car but also the beautiful location was really worth it. Really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely come back !

Very bad Wi-Fi. There are no organized beaches at the walking distance. There are great beaches near, but they are wild and beautiful. So, you need a transportation if you want to go to best beaches in island with lifeguards. To reach the accommodation there are two villages uphill with very narrow streets, so be aware.

The only thing missing was a full-length mirror. I had to stand on a chair to check my outfit.

Our apartment was quaint, and exactly what I thought it would be. It had a really nice vibe, and it was clean and quiet. We could prepare some of our own meals, or there is a beach club called the Blue Lagoon a short walk away, as well as a small grocery store. The staff were lovely and very friendly. We were a short walk from the beach, which is absolutely beautiful.

Could not think of anything

The host, Nectaria is a delight. The location is out of the way- just as we had hoped. Quiet, rural and just a minute's walk from a lovely swimming beach. This property served us well as a base to drive around the island but still be able to retreat to quiet of an evening. The kitchen was excellent and after visiting a local store, we opted to cook for ourselves- a real bonus after a month of eating in restaurants, an opportunity to have something simple 'at home'. We highly recommend Nectaria's place not least of all for the chance sleep with doors and windows open to the sounds of the sea by night.

The apartment was absolutely amazing. So clean. Cannot fault.. Nektaria was so accomodating, giving us a lift to the supermarket and calling taxis for us. A short walk to the beach and a choice of 3 tavernas. Beautiful beach location and not far from a bus stop. Would advise a car though if want to go to Naxos Town and see the Island. Would definitely stay again.

Nectaria's place is lovely. A nice, quiet place away from the crowds. Only about half an hour from Naxos port by local bus which runs 4 or 5 times per day. *bear in mind it can take 45-60mins to get back to Naxos as it's a different route. Also buses to nearby beaches too. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a shared terrace with sea view. Note that there are limited shops and restaurants nearby and only one place for breakfast (Blue Lagoon- very nice). There is a small mini market near the bus stop but doesn't have much. You either need a car if you want to get around or be content with a very quiet area, as we were. Enjoyed our stay very much

Just few steps away from the stunning beach with near restaurants.. the owner made us feel like home, every single day she did our room, the place is super clean and neat with all the necessary tools to cook. Hands down the best place to spend your vacation in Kastraki 😍

There were no toiletries, not even paper napkins. The house was lacking a few good saucepans ect since those they had was of the worst quality and either you couldn't cook properly, or you couldn't clean it afterwards. I would except better quality on some appliances.

I loved the proximity by foot to the beach, which was the main reason i picked the location. I liked very much how comfortable the bed was and that it was very quiet.

Very far from the old town and not good connectivity of bus from the apartment.

The apartment was clean and located near to the beach but it is very far away from old town. It is good if you want be away from crowded beach and the main town.

Our main complaint was that Sahara Beach Apartments does not offer beach towels or umbrellas for guests to carry to the nearby beaches. We could have read the listing more carefully (I see now that towels and beach umbrellas are not listed), but we were surprised that a hotel so close to the beach would not offer at least beach towels for guests. The beaches are not very shady in Kastraki, so an umbrella is also ideal.

This quiet hotel was a nice space to come home to after a long day at the beach. The location is great--just one block from the water and an easy drive (or 10/15 min walk) to several excellent restaurants. There was plenty of parking and outdoor space to hang out, rinse the sand off, and dry clothes. The room itself was clean and a good size for two people, with a full-sized fridge and a decent amount of kitchen equipment (though we didn't cook). We enjoyed slow breakfasts in the room and a cool beer on our private patio during our stay.
