Everything was fantastic

The room spacious , had everything that you would might need for your stay (from full range of cutlery and kitchen utensils to baby chairs) and was brand new with excellent views and spacious balcony . It’s location is ideal as it is 2min drive from the center but also provides peace and quiet for you to relax

That I couldn't stay longer.

This was a truly fantastic stay! The owners were lovely, two and four legged ones! The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped, and had clearly been well looked after. The sheets and towels changed very regularly and I'm sure if you needed anything you would be more than catered for. The views were beautiful and the pool area perfect! Thank you sooo much for our honeymoon experience

Everything. This place is a gem. The room was quite big, full of everything that you could possibly need, the bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was spacious. The parking space is comfortable and always protected by the trees, preventing your car from becoming a furnace. Position-wise, if you have a car it's excellent for it's literally a 2 minutes drive to Sami. If you wanna walk to the town it's not the most ideal scenario ever (12 mins on average), but it's still perfectly doable especially during the daytime. You may find quite a lot of people still walk that road even at night, but personally I wouldn't do it (simply because there's no sidewalk, and the illumination isn't the best). You've got two decent supermarkets in the immediate surroundings, and the room has got a fully working kitchen that allows you to properly fix your meals in case you don't want to go to the restaurant every single day. If you are a remote worker: the wi-fi was around 15mbps (download) on average depending on the position, it was overall quite stable. The 4G was around 30mbps, which is absolutely great considering the standards of the island. So if you have to work with bigger files you're gonna use the hotspot anyway, if you just need check your email and deal with smaller files the wifi is good enough. The hosts are great, absolutely fantastic. As far as we're concerned, best hosts on the planet!

Such a wonderful place to stay. Vicki and John were wonderful hosts and made us most welcome. On arrival Vicky showed us all the amenities in our room and even gave us a lift in to town so we could pick up our hire car. Our room was a lovely and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfy and the shower was great. The grounds were kept immaculate and it was lovely waking up to see peacocks, goats and of course their puppy Roxy every morning. We were frequently offered fresh fruit and ice cream when relaxing by the pool. I would definitely reccomend hiring a car as the walk to town although not too far can be hot and the road busy especially if you have children in tow. Plus if you want to see all the attractions of kefallonia a car is a must. I will definitely return to Sami View and will reccomend 100%. Thank you Vicky and John ( and Roxy)

Saying goodbye to Roxy!

My partner and I did a 5 night stay in Sami View, what a hidden gem it was! John & Vicky were amazing and made us feel so welcome, they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable like giving us bottles of water and a lift into town (It’s the little things that go along way)! John & Vicky let us use their bikes to get around but we decided to hire a car, it was super easy and good value for money and worth it. The room was spacious and clean! Balcony was big and it was nice to sit out and relax. The pool was quiet, peaceful and was always clean. My favourite part of the trip was meeting John & Vicky’s Puppy called Roxy. Highly recommend, we felt extremely safe and comfortable. John, Vicky & Roxy were amazing hosts!

The shower water spills out a little.

A quiet and very well-located accommodation. The rooms and the entire property are exceptionally well-maintained and clean, and you have everything you need for your comfort. The terrace in the room is fantastic. Very nice pool. Excellent air conditioner. Vicky, the host, is incredibly attentive and always willing to help with anything you might need.

Having to leave will definitely be back

Everything, lovely rooms, beautiful gardens, a spotlessly clean pool, great location, but above all, our hosts, Vicky, went out of her way to make sure we had had everything we needed, even bringing ice creams and fruit to guests as we sat by the pool.

Having to leave it!

Sami View is the most special of places. The location, although on the main road to Argostoli, feels semi-rural and tranquil. The near constant goat, peacock and cockerel chatter is so lovely in the background . The accommodation itself is just over 1km from Sami and a walk we really enjoyed. It’s perfectly located for getting round the island but a car is pretty much a necessity if you do want to explore further afield. The town of Sami itself is very interesting. We found a brilliant local bar in Manifiko and there is a farm restaurant just down the road well worth a visit. Sami is a working port but a hub of activity with lots of gorgeous beaches within easy driving distance including Antisamos and Myrtos beach. The absolute highlight though is the accommodation itself and hosts. Our apartment was so clean and brilliantly serviced with everything we needed. On arrival there were home baked biscuits, water, coffee, olive oil and other starter provisions. Vicky and John are both legends They are so kind and generous , I felt like I was visiting my mum and dad!! At the end of a hot day Vicky will appear with homemade lemonade and icecream. The place is perfect.

Only downside, which is to be expected when bordering countryside, was the sound of a peahen, goat bells, a cockerel in the morning . But even so, you soon get used to it..

The room was large with a very modern bathroom. The hosts supplied everything you could ever possibly need. The balcony was huge, the bed comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of this accomodation.

There is nothing to dislike!

Vicky and John were amazing hosts. They are a very hospitable ,attentive ,caring and kind couple. The property is beautifully maintained and the gardens manicured to perfection. It is obvious that they take great pride and joy and work very hard to maintain very high standards throughout. We stayed for seven nights at beginning of May and twas our first time to Cephalonia. Sami View was the best choice and so glad we stayed here. Lovely spacious room with beautiful sea and mountains view from our large balcony. Room serviced twice during our stay. It’s a very relaxing and welcoming location. Our stay was superb from start to finish . They have thought of everything! We hired a car and glad . We want to return and stay again at this perfect residence.

Location was perfect for catching early morning ferry to Ithaca. Nice quiet spot with beautiful gardens. The whole property is lit up during the night with garden ligths

Cannot think of anything! It was perfect. The apartment is a little away from the town but we knew this and didn't bother us as needed to walk off the lovely food. Always got a taxi back as the road is a bit hairy at night as not lit. Expect to pay around 7 Euro.

Spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped apartment, huge comfortable bed, great power shower. Pool area is well kept with lots of sunbeds. Perfect hosts, John and Vicki cannot do enough for you. Really kind and friendly. Offered us free lifts to the town, provided bottles of water, ice creams and drinks around the pool. Never intrusive just always there for you if needed.

It’s close to the main road going out of Sami to Argostoli so there is some traffic noise but it’s not really a big issue , inside its well insulated and it’s more than made up for by the positive points about the property - I’d definitely stay again.

The hosts are great persons. Very welcoming and warm. The property is well cured, the rooms are big, clean, with great terases, great light, wonderful and very well cured palm trees. The water in the swimming pool was very clean, with lots of pool beds around it and lots of toys for kids.

Only thing to be aware of it is a 25min walk into the town slightly downhill (so uphill on way back!)

The only slight downside is the walk into town. 20 mins. Its ok going down but coming back its quite a tough incline. We didnt have a car but there were bikes you could usr.

The appartment was amazing. So much attention to detail. One day it was forecast for rain and an umberella appeared outside our door. There is an oven and 3 hobs! Basic cooking items such as salt pepper herbs oil plus tea and coffee were there. They thought of everything.
