Mattresses all very hard. Windy road to get there in car and hike up a steep hill to get to near restaurants which took more like half an hour in the heat. Guests in other properties smoking.

Private pool was brilliant. Air con efficient. Shower good (once we spoke to owner who told us the knack to get hot water!).

Water was not always hot in the shower, possibly due to solar panels in cloudy weather. A backup system would be an improvement. Also, bathroom ceiling needs some attention.

Quiet location with excellent sea view. Well equipped apartment and spacious. Plenty of parking and outdoor space. Good value for money in January.

The lights in the bathroom didn’t work so I had to use my phone torch. We only stayed one night between landing and going to our next island. Ideal for a stop off but location wise generally unsure on what was around as we were there less than ten hours

Fantastic accommodation! Perfect for our family of five. We had lots of room and it was well equipped. The children loved the pool so much. The cleaner is exceptional. It’s in a quiet, traditional village with a traditional restaurant walking distance. We hired a car and explored the island which I would definitely recommend. The accommodation was a perfect base for this.

Access to the property is along a pretty rough local road that was a little hairy round the blind bends, but this is a small point considering the “off the beaten track” experience. The pool was more than adequate for all families staying at the property, and we were never in the pool when others were using, and only ever one other family at poolside at the same time. It might be a tight squeeze should everyone want to use it at the same time.

A perfect quiet retreat from the friendly bustle of Santorini. Great shared pool that was cleaned every other day, with plenty of loungers. The apartment was spotless, and cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bedding, and thoroughly tidied and mopped. The view across to the beach and beyond was really lovely. It was a short walk or drive to a really great supermarket, and a fabulous restaurant serving excellent Greek food to a largely local clientele. It was so easy to get around the island from this central point, we were no more than 30 minutes from Oia in the north, to Akritiri in the south. Great access to the local beach and endless tourist restaurants, although in from the beach actually was better, with restaurants serving more Greek than tourists, and better value meals for a family. We hired the panda provided by Vaios. This was a little bit of a challenge to try getting up some steep inclines, and the brakes need attention, but for the short distances travelled and the polite road users (compared to London driving) it was okay.

Super quiet. Exactly what we needed after a busy Santorini sight seeing around the island.

Not a dislike but be prepared - the property is about 2m drive from the main road. Don't try to walk especially if you've got luggage or kids - hire a car/taxi to get you there. We did a 10pm quick jaunt out and it felt very safe.

The apartment itself is very clean, well stocked, and has a good layout. AC units work extremely well which was amazing in 38⁰ temps. Pool and surrounds were also clean. The host provided some basic needs like salt, pepper, oil and drinking water which was very welcome when we arrived. There was even some laundry detergent available! He also allowed us do a very early check-in at no extra cost, and communicated very clearly and quickly despite not being physically present. After a week of island hopping around Greece, I'd say this was the best of 3 accommodations I stayed in, in terms of value for money. If you can, book the Caldera suite - the washing machine, large fridge, private pool and parking, and smart TV made all the difference for our family. It was brilliant for a restful stay, I actually wish I could have stayed longer! Supermarket and gas station within 4min by car, airport is about 10min by car, seaport about 20min.

Everything was great but I would just recommend to do a bit of tightening work of the wooden floor for the top room.

We stayed at the Volcano apartment and it was beautiful. The kids had a large room on the top floor and our room had a great view to catch an amazing sunrise in the mornings. The staff was extremely helpful and the apartment had all the facilities we needed to have a very comfortable and quiet stay. it’s at a super convenient location for a short drive to Fira and all the beaches around. I would highly recommend it for anyone traveling with family.

The host Vaios, went over and above to make our holiday a memorable one. We let him know the dishwasher was out of order and he replaced it on the same day, I needed a child seat and he offered one straight away. The house keeping was excellent, we came back to a clean and tidy place to rest after and daily adventure. The View was awesome to have the watch the sunrise, was the best.
