Τhis place was really special. Very clean, quiet, with a beautiful view. We had everything we needed. The people were amazing .So kind and helpful.They told us where to go, what to see, how to avoid traffic. We felt like home. It was a lovely experience. We are so happy we stayed there. Sarris Planet is a wonderful place to stay. Dimitrios does so much to make sure every guest gets maximum enjoyment from their stay and from Syros. He is a warm, friendly, thoughtful and caring host- brilliant! The location is very scenic and peaceful- with fine, wide sea views from the room and from the terrace. You have everything you need. Ahead of our stay communication was very helpful and clear and Dimitrios also arranged our car hire and having met us at the port gave a great introduction to Empoulis and the roads.

We REALLY LIKED everything. The ‘breakfasts’ ( there was enough for lunch too!) were amazing. Mrs Sarris - thank you for wonderful homemade, jams, muffins- sweet and savoury- cake and even raki! Superb!

Cleanliness and the view of the room!

Dimitris & his wife Melina were the perfect hosts - undoubtedly the most helpful I've ever experienced. We were met at the Port along with our luggage & when we asked about motorbike hire Dimitris organised everything for us (at an excellent price) & then brought us down into the town the next day to collect them. On our first night he dropped us into the Port for dinner & collected us later so we weren't having to taxi. There is a good bus service on the island that many people use but if you're inclined to do a lot of travelling around then a motorbike or car is probably preferable. There is a little traffic in the harbour town of Ermoupoulis but outside of that we found the roads to be fairly quiet. We were given numerous & detailed recommendations for things to do & places to eat, greeted daily with a smile, had our breakfast basket & fridge topped up daily with all kinds of home-baked goods, cereals, jams/spreads, butter, juice, milk and two large bottles of fresh water. The rooms were cleaned daily & were kitted out with every type of appliance you might need. The views from the balcony were outstanding, and the sense of peace & calm is just fantastic. I'd have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this property - Dimitris treats each of his guests like friends.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Sarris Planet. The room was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable and relaxing stay. What truly made the experience exceptional were the hosts, Dimitris and his wife. They were incredibly welcoming and genuinely friendly, always available to offer assistance, whether it was with practical needs or helpful local tips about the island — from the best places to eat to must-see sights. Their hospitality felt warm and sincere, and they clearly take great pride in making their guests feel at home. The location is also excellent, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere — perfect for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the island. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The rooms were great, but it’s the hosts that truly make this place special. Highly recommended, and we would definitely love to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming, family-run bed and breakfast on Syros. From the very beginning, we felt genuinely welcomed. The whole family was warm and attentive – especially Dimitrios, who must be one of the kindest and most heartfelt people we’ve met in Greece. The place is beautifully maintained, tastefully decorated, and radiates a cozy, homely atmosphere. Everything was to our complete satisfaction – from the cleanliness and comfort to the hospitality and peaceful location. A perfect spot to relax and feel at home – we’d return without hesitation. This place truly deserves a 10 out of 10!

Very comfortable room with lovely balcony and beautiful ocean views. Dimitrios was definitely the best host I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. And he was extremely helpful driving us around whenever we needed. He was very gracious and generous when I had to change my booking and arranged the cancellation himself as I was unable to.

this property is amazing, great views, close to the city center and the studios are great. Dimitris and Melina are amazing hosts with Melina baking fresh treats every day and Dimitris always being available to help with any requests. Dimitris has worked and lived on the Island for 30 years and he was happy to share his tips on the best restaurants, cages, beaches, places to visit and of course the sunsets. one of the best places I have stayed.

😀 The views from the apartment are spectacular, looking out to sea and watching all the boats was a big highlight for us and made our stay extra special. Demitrios met us at the port with an extremely warm welcome, which continued throughout our stay, he was so helpful with everything, lots of recommendations for the island, and sorting out our scooter hire :-) He was always there, being so friendly and we had lovely chats together, Demitrios and Melina are wonderful people with warm hearts which made our stay extra special. The room service from (beautiful Melina) was exceptional , refilling water bottles ,emptying bins topping up breakfast basket , changing towels etc . The welcome breakfast basket with homemade cakes and jams and the welcome pack of food in fridge was a really generous and lovely touch . Extremely well thought out and very much appreciated .Well done The bed was really comfortable and the shower was good . The area around the property is peaceful and well maintained

Sarris is the most kind and welcoming host you could ever ask for. The property is gorgeous - amazing sunrises and exquisitely quiet.

From the moment we arrived Demitri made us feel welcome, he went out of his way to ensure we had the best stay! The Basket with super nice, home made bread, muffins,variety of jams & coffees was a very big surprise on our arrival Room super clean, bed very comfortable, crisp clean bedding everyday serviced.Kitchen fully equiped, with anything you could need. The view was amazing, seeview, ilands & ferry's arriving en leaving & a wonderful sunrise over the ilands contibute to our unforgetable stay @ Sarris Planet. We will definately be back!

We loved everything about the property from the beautiful view to the comfort of the apartment. Dimitri the host kindly picked us up from the port and he gave us detailed instructions on the island highlights. There was a lovely basket of homemade goodies which was refreshed daily. We had a lovely stay on Syros and the kindness and hospitality of Dimitri made it even better. I hope we can return again and we would definitely stay at Sarris Planet. Everything was great !

Amazing location..in the top of a hill..with the sea in the front..easy to arrive from the port! Genuine and excellent breakfast…more then you cand eat…and Dimitris, the owner ready to pick up/ pick off from port/ other locations and full of good information About the island..thank you Dimitris..

There are an only a handful of places you visit where you feel at peace and are reminded that the world is a special place. Sarris Planet is one of those places, not only do you experience an incredible view and a tranquil paradise right next to the main town. But more importantly you get to understand Greek hospitality through the love that Dimitrios and his family put into making this such a special place.

Nothing our only regret is we didn’t get to stay longer.

If I could give Sarris Planet an 11/10, I certainly would! Our stay at this accommodation was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks in large part to Dimitrios. From the moment we arrived, Dimitrios made us feel incredibly welcome. His warm and kind demeanor immediately put us at ease, and his extensive knowledge about Syros ensured that our trip was smooth and enjoyable. The hospitality we experienced at Sarris Planet is unparalleled. Dimitrios went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect, enhancing our enjoyment of this beautiful island. He even took the time to pick us up, drop us in town, and show us some of the highlights, which was such a lovely gesture. In just three short, wonderful days, I would consider Dimitrios a friend. We will undoubtedly return to Syros, to Sarris Planet, and to the delightful company of Dimitrios. This experience truly made our trip memorable, and we look forward to our next visit.

We spent three nights at sarris planet but wish we could have stayed forever! The accommodation is perfect with the most exceptional view, everything you need is there, but the main star is the host Dimitrios. We have never experienced this level of hospitality before, Dimitrios is one of a kind. He dropped us off and picked us up everywhere for our entire stay, provided us with fresh breakfast everyday and gave us an extensive list of recommendations for our trip. Dimitrios is everything a person should be and more! You can tell his passion is accommodating for and helping others and he does just that. Cannot recommend this hotel more!

loved everything about our week's stay. The welcome at the port , at our little apartment with a balcony and a view to die for. Loved Dimitri, what a host! His passion for Syros, and his work oozes from him. It was obvious from the first hello that he cared deeply that we had the best time. and we did. with those amazing breakfast baskets the recommendations of where to eat and where to swim. The little complimentary gifts of wine and eggs. the help to sort a good rental car, the rides up and down when we had no car. cleaning our apartment every day. what a super place. what a super man with the biggest heart and smile. I loved Syros, and I've been to many Cycladian islands and I loved Dimitri too and I've stayed in a lot of places all over the world. one of my best holidays ever!

Εxcellent value for money. Τhe owners amazing and very helpful. Dimitris was born to do this job. The location is excellent, if one has a means of transport. It has the peace and the view, and within a short distance to the city you can find the nightlife and everything else you want.
