Spacious room and enjoyed using the pool good location

We stayed only 2 nights but on those 2 nights there was insanely and loud noises through the corridors after midnight. It looked like there were a bunch of kids/teenagers wandering around and making so much noise that we couldn’t sleep. Although this might not be the staff/hotel direct fault, there should be some people from the staff to not allow that kind of behavior.

Good breakfast, nice staff. We arrived at an early flight in the morning and the room was available to check in which was nice. Walking distance to the center.

Spacious and modern rooms kept spotlessly clean, helpful and attentive staff, plentiful breakfast choices for a 2 star, short walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach and port

The breakfast was ok but not as varied as in other hotels in a similar price category. Unfortunately the scrambled egg, omelettes etc. were served cold at the buffet.

The receptionist was very friendly and informed us about the most important things to know and where we could find the best beaches, bus stops and bars. From this hotel it is a 5min walk to the beach and a 15min walk to the city centre. The pool on the rooftop was refreshing and relaxing. We could leave our luggage in the hotel after checking out because our ferry left in the evening.

Beds too hard, 2 single beds pushed together. Mosquito’s in the room, shower head kept falling from the bracket.

Group of American students in the next room kept us awake most of our first night

Short walk to the beach. Slightly longer to the centre but not a problem. Some really good restaurants nearby. Room, breakfast and pool area all ok.

The shower head did not stay up. A distinct lack of bug prevention was apparent as I was attacked every night from mosquitoes waking up with bites everywhere. We had also paid for a triple room but where only provided with a double this made me feel a little ripped off.

The accomodation was great for the few nights we stayed. The staff were friendly and helpful with directions. The room was clean and the aircon worked amazingly. Note that the photos do not do the place justice. The place has been renovated and is modern.

There could have been more options for breakfast.

The room was just like the photos, the staff were helpful on arrival at reception and gave good recommendations etc. Good location close to the main streets and beaches.

No wifi.

Nice and helpful staff, they recommended us where to go to the beach and where to eat. The breakfast was ok, we had the same thing both mornings, but you had a nice variety to choose from (cheese and cold cuts, vegetables, cereal and juice, tea or coffee). As I saw other reviews, breakfast was served downstairs in the lobby, and not by the swimming pool - which I think it is closed this time of year. The room was a decent size and very clean, with a nice balcony. The problem we had is that the wifi did not get to the room. Regarding the location, it is close to the beach and really nice food places, and about 15 minutes to city centre.

We didn't have a nice experience with this hotel/company. First of all, we didn't even get to stay at this hotel. On the day of the check-in, somebody calls me and tells me that this hotel (Mare Naxia Hotel) is closed and that the company which has multiple hotels gave us a room in another sister-hotel in which the facilities were horrible. I'm sure they didn't close the hotel the day before we arrived. They could have told me that they close for the season and cancel my booking, I wouldn't have had any problem with it. I would have understood, it was not the season anymore bla bla bla, i would have booked another hotel which i get to choose and not force me to get a hotel which i would have never booked, had I seen it before. It was really unfair and that's why I don't recommend this hotel/company that has all these hotels. I will also contact Booking.com about it. It is not ok to call people on the day of the check-in and tell them "Hey, that hotel that you booked is closed, you get another one that we chose for you".

Hospitality, wasn’t inviting workers just sitting in the lobby on their phones watching shows. The pool area could be better, the pool needs washing on the tiles, could offer pool towels and some snacks or drinks in the bar area. Didn’t feel inviting.

Room was FULL of mosquitoes!! Clearly has been a problem before because the walls were covered in dead mosquito marks…Kept up all night catching mosquitos and listening to the loud people talking in the reception that echoed through the corridors and thin walls.

Easy check in/out and stored our bags before our ferry. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants.
