Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustriaWe loved the location. Direct sea view and sleeping with the calming sound of waves was a bliss. We went off season, which contributed to the very relaxed atmosphere.

AustraliaOnly basic coffee at breakfast . Latte. Espresso etc were charged extra . Only fruit salad on buffet for breakfast . No fresh fruit . The rest of choices for breakfast were lovely. We had a triple room however it was same size as a double with an extra bed . This bed was very uncomfortable and the smaller size of the room meant the luggage was in the way and there was not adequate wardrobe space .
Great location and straight onto beach with umbrellas

AustraliaThe single bed in our triple room was very uncomfortable for my daughter who was 19 years of age . It should be made clear that only appropriate for small children. Buffer breakfast was lovely only it was lacking fresh fruit . Only a fruit salad / it’s summer in Greece and that area has lovely local produce . Also, I had to purchase my coffee for breakfast because only premixed coffee on offer . For a hotel that caklibee cogfee of any type should be included . Vissino not on offer for yoghurt another Greek staple.
Layout of the hotel was excellent on beach Breakfast was lovely location and feel Nice views from the room and nice balcony space great parking availability

Greece-the balcony hadn't been cleaned at all and we had to clean ourselves the chairs and the table in order to sit outsite as it was a very sunny and hot weekend. -We asked to book for "A 50-minute free use of the hammam, sauna and hot tub facilities in the Physis Spa & Health Center is offered, upon availability and prior arrangement." as it is still mentioned in the bookings' hotel info details, but informed us that this is not happenig and never was. However the staff was very kind and welcome to assist and we sorted out.
The facilities were superb! The perfect place to unwind and relax next to the sea and close to Athens. The Sikelianos villa is stunning. The area of the hotel, just by the beach and next to the forest makes it one of a kind. The sea view form the room, especially during sunrise was amanig. The staff all over the hotel was very polite. A great add is the breakfast buffet with a huge variety of freshly made meals to choose from.

GreeceIt was a big problem for us, since we chose the hotel for the Spa services, that the Spa was closed and we weren't informed in no way.
The breakfast was very good! The rooms and the view excellent. The staff of the restaurant very helpful and polite. The temperature of the room excellent although it was very cold outside. Very good cleaning!

LuxembourgOn our arrival, the pool was out of order and had no water in it. We explained to the person at the reception that we had booked this hotel because of the pool. All he said was "So, what do you want to do now? Go to a different hotel?" We stayed one night and then we left. Restaurant was endless slow. No restaurant at the villa, villa terrasse shown in pictures is not even accessible to hotel guests. Hotel seems very skilled at photoshop to make their rooms look way more modern then what they are. This hotel is way too expensive for what it is.
There was nothing special in this hotel

United KingdomThe TV in room 410. It is a hazard where it is placed on the wall, and my partner hit his head twice on the TV, see picture. It's dangerous, especially because it's easy for someone of average height to hit their head while they get access to/from the balcony. I strongly suggest that this hotel revisits their risk assessment for their guests.
It was nice and clean and staff are helpful. Great breakfast. Great location.
