Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomVilla location and views are stunning. We visited for a week at the end of August and can thoroughly recommend Skoumas Villa to anyone - couple, family, friends - or would work for all. The pool is an essential in the hotter months and the fact you can take in the scenery whilst having a swim is extra special - mountains behind and all around you with the sea in front of you. The welcome basket of essentials was a lovely touch and very welcoming. We liked being able to self check in and out with the knowledge that we could contact our hosts should we need to. Drive up to the villa from Vlachata is fine once you've done it a couple of times and a hire car is a must for this villa. Loved it, and recommend to anyone x

United KingdomThe mattress covers made sleeping a little sweaty and uncomfortable on the first night so we removed them. I understand why they are there but I really can't stand them. The sun loungers look fabulous, but are probably the least comfortable we've ever used - impossible to lie on your front, not so great on your back and no cushions or pads. Hence the mark down on comfort. One more gripe - beyond the owner's control, but there are three very bright security lights in front of the property I think attached to a small electricity substation down the road about 100m. These come on at twilight, all but obliterating the view, and stay on all night. A real shame but not enough to put us off returning to this otherwise excellent villa.
Fantastic, spacious accommodation with a wonderful hillside location. The villa is completely private apart from the early morning visit of the (very pleasant) owner to clean the pool, which didn't bother us. He was kind enough to give us a very large bag of tomatoes, cucumbers and limes from his plot in front of the villa. The pool was beautiful and very clean. The drive up was a little tortuous at first but we soon got used to it. We were surprised that there was a welcome hamper of very good standard that included a couple of beers and a bottle of wine.

United KingdomThe pillows could be slightly more comfortable (personals pretence thing)otherwise it was perfect
Property was well decorated and beautiful. It had every facility we needed including everything for a small baby. The host was kind enough to organise a baby cot for us. The pool is stunning and overlooks a well manicured garden alongside a well positioned balcony with breathtaking views that we enjoyed in the evening with the sunset

United Kingdomthe property was a bit too remote for us. the swimming pool was gorgeous and was cleaned every day but during our stay we had wasps basking in the pool daily. This made it very difficult to swim in because the wasps were not dead , they were basking/floating in the water and stopping off to have a drink and float on the water to cool down making it very difficult to enter the pool without fear of being stung. We tried several deterrents but the best was buying some Greek ground coffee, placing this in terracotta bowls and setting a match to the coffee so that it produced smoke. The wasps hated this smoke so avoided the pool but this only lasted for half an hour and then we would have to replenish the ground coffee again. Too much work when you are on holiday!
The property was lovely - modern, clean and fully equipped. Also, fantastic hillside views of the sea and coastline. beautiful garden and olives groves
