The hotel was very nice and conveniently close to the sea, which was a big plus for us. One of the things we appreciated most was that even after checkout, they still allowed us to use the beach and provided towels and access to showers. The staff were kind and friendly, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. Highly recommended!

The customer service was amazing!

It was just a perfect location, a 3 min walk to the beach! Every amenity on hand, plenty of restaurants & excellent beach facilities, and water sports! The Hotel was pristinely clean, and owners were amazing & staff so helpful making it all the more pleasurable. A very relaxing experience & would definitely recommend the Smaradgi. The complex is charming with stunning gardens & the design so cute. A fab time !

The pool. Staff were lovely.

If it didn’t have a pool then it’s nothing. No bar, no restaurant, a vending machine with over priced stuff. The a/c in the room didn’t work and even after they had someone fix it, still didn’t work properly. The staff try their best but it was simply not worth the money I’m afraid. The outlook was grim, I’d recommend to stay in Fira instead. I’ve been there before. A real shame as the staff are lovely but for the price it really doesn’t cut it. I hate writing negative reviews but have to be truthful.

The staff is really so nice and adorable and the hotel looks exactly like the picture.

The staff couldn't have been any more helpful from the second we arrived. It's a beautiful quaint hotel out of the way from the bustle of other areas such as Fira and Oia. It's a 1 minute walk from a beautiful beach and a variety of different restaurants are within a 20 minute walk of the hotel. Couldn't praise this hotel more. If we return to Santorini, we'll be staying here again.

The lady and the gentleman at the réception who gave us super good advice to visit Santorini and who nicely helped us manage our transfer.

We stayed 5 nights. Everything was excellent – the rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The pool and lounge area were perfect for relaxing after the beach. The location is ideal, just steps from the black sand beach and close to restaurants. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Honestly, nothing – everything exceeded our expectations.

the staff were exceptional. they helped us with many aspects of our holiday - booking taxis, trips and advising generally and very friendly and helpful. the hotel was lovely. the pool was also very nice. it was overall a very relaxing holiday

The staff was extremely nice, hotel is close to the beach, beautiful pool area. They have a cooperation with one of the beach bars which was amazing for beach days (sun beds for free and 10% off of food and drinks).

Could have been a little bit cleaner. Our toilet wasn‘t fully cleaned for 2-3 days even though the room service was there and the bed was made.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Smaragdi! The host was very nice and incredibly helpful throughout my visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I also appreciated how close the hotel was to the beach — just a short walk away. A great place to stay for a relaxing holiday in Santorini!

Would be nice if breakfast will be available, but otherwise everything was perfect and we will definately stat here if we come back to Santorini
