It was truly an amazing place to stay – the views are simply breathtaking, beyond what words can describe. The room was spotless and cleaned regularly, which made the stay very comfortable. The location couldn’t be better: just a short walk to the beach, shops, and plenty of restaurants. What made the experience unforgettable, however, was the warm hospitality of Athina and Vasilis. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, even offering us a late check-out free of charge because our flight was in the evening – such kindness is rare! Whenever I return to Zakynthos, I know exactly where I’ll stay. This isn’t just a hotel – it’s a place where I found not only excellent service but also wonderful friends. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to come back!

Oh my God! The view was outstanding and it felt surreal! When I opened the balcony door I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was.😍 The room was nice and clean. It was peaceful and the apartments garden was beautiful as well.

The hill leading to the property, but without the hill you wouldn’t have the wonderful views! just hire yourselves a car, quad bike or scooter , no more hill to climb!

Could not fault this property has everything you can think of and the views of the sea and surrounding areas are absolutely stunning!! stayed as a solo traveler for nearly a month and honestly the nicest place I have ever stayed in zakynthos 🩵 Athena is the most genuine person I have ever met nothing was too much trouble she made sure everything was perfect, room was literally cleaned every second day of my stay and I felt so safe!! Will definitely be staying here again 100%

As others have said, this hotel gives you stunning views from the balcony (Tsilivi beach) and I was lucky to be given one of the top floor hotels. It is only 5 mins walk to the beach via a pathway and fairly near the main town with all its cafes, restaurants, bars, shops. The hosts very kindly offered to give me a lift from Zakynthos town's bus station and were very friendly all the way through. They were very quick to respond to any queries or requests for recommendations while communicating via Booking.com chat messenger and they did their best to find the best way for me to travel from Zalynthos to Kefalonia, which was my next stop. I will definitely try booking with them again when I visit the island again.

Please beware: the hotel is high up the hill and there is a *very* steep slope you have to climb on your way there. If you travel without a vehicle, you need to be aware of this, especially if you have heavy suitcases. It is also not too near the local bus stop, so I'd recommend taking a cab, even from Tsilivi bus stop, if you are not with a car. I believe the hosts are very mindful of that, which is why they offered me a lift. Other than that, fine. I think they could consider updating the kitchen utensils - these are few and they look old and dusted, even if they may not be. Some coffee, tea and sugar in the room would be greatly appreciated, not least because you have to take down and up again that slope in order to reach the nearest mini market.

An unforgettable stay in Zakynthos! Sofos Apartments is truly one of the best places to stay on the island. The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking — peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or evening sunset. The entire apartment was spotless, and the surrounding area was very clean and well maintained. It felt quiet, safe, and welcoming. What made the experience even more special was the incredibly friendly and helpful owner. She was so welcoming and took the time to explain everything about the area. The location is ideal for exploring the island, but also perfect if you just want to unwind and enjoy holiday. Highly recommended — we would definitely come back!

Beautiful sea views on the edge of Tsvilli, Sofos Apartments are set on a hill in tranquil suroundings. Very relaxing.

Not so keen on the steep but short driveway to get to the Apartment.

Booked for my parents for our wedding as we had stayed here previously. Again, amazing stay, lovely, traditional feeling. Wonderful views with beach and shops close by. The host, Athena, is a lovely lady and nothing is too much trouble, so helpful.

Far the best view we have ever seen. Athina is the kindest person we have ever met. The room got cleaned all week and She taken care of our personal needs during the cleaning. If you like cats, this will be your heaven cuz all the cats are adorable. Absolutely feel like home. 100% sure to be back as soon as possible. Thank you Athina and Sofos for the best holiday of our life. ❤️

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

The most impressive aspect of the hotel is undoubtedly the incredible views. Whether you're enjoying a sunrise or winding down at sunset, the vistas from the hotel are simply breathtaking. The location truly offers a unique and picturesque experience. And not to forget the parking lot under the olive trees.

Unfortunately, the apartment itself feels very outdated and in desperate need of renovation. The decor and furnishings look like they are left back in the '70s, and the overall ambiance suffers as a result. The beds were particularly uncomfortable, i could feel every single spring on my body making it difficult to get a good night's sleep, which significantly affected my overall stay. Additionally, there was a noticeable lack of services provided, which was quite disappointing. For instance, the cooking equipment in the room was very minimal, making it difficult to prepare even the simplest of meals.(there is no toaster to prepare a basic toast, no salt or sugar, the pans/frying pans are very very old , only two very old glasses, two knives for butter quite unsharpen, ofcourse not even a small bottle of water provided).

The view was beautiful! Wau wau wauuu.. The area was also really nice. The staff was always very Nice and helpfull. Athina is very kind. If you are thinking, WHERE you should go .. go here! ❤️

I liked absolutely everything! The location, the property itself (it has a very nice garden and hammocks), and, cherry on top, the view is breathtaking! The room is very simple, but super clean and spacious. It has an amazing sea resort vibe. Bathroom is clean. I’d definitely come back to Sofos Apartments. It made my first time in Zakynthos unforgettable!

For those who is not sporty enough a little walk up the hill in the heat might be a little bit challenging but it’s worth it!!!

Amazing sea view from the apartment. Really clean and comfortable ,helpful and friendly staff. Shops , tavernas and the beach in walking distance. Beautiful garden and terrace with sea view. Parking spots available .Good WiFi connection. Enjoyed the stay a lot at Sofos Apartments. Good value for money. Will choose again Sofos Apartments when will return to Zakynthos.

What a beautiful view to wake up to in the morning! I loved the outside balcony. Lots of gorgeous friendly cats around. The host Athina was so lovely and helpful, she even collected me from the airport. There was a beautiful area to sit / read /use the hammock in the garden. Facilities were basic but it was all that I needed. About a ten minute walk into the main part of town and roughly the same to get to the beach. This place had such a beautiful family feel to it.

I cannot expect a better place than Sofos!! Stunning and breathtaking views and the hosts are super kind they picked me up and also drove me to the airport!the days I stayed in Sofos were the best memories of Zaykinthos, therapeutic experiences!

Perfect accommodation with a great view from the balcony. We spent our honeymoon here, and we found a bottle of champagne and sweets to welcome us 🍾 It is very clean ( cleaning is in every two days ). There is a yard where you can also spend calm time and enjoy in sunset. I have to praise our host. She is very kind and helpful. She was helping us with everything that we needed.
