Reviews of Maria's Bed and Breakfast

Because there was an issue beyond the control of the hostess, she made arrangements to put us up in a different place in Spata. Her communication was excellent. The alternative accommodations were outstanding. So while I cannot speak to the quality of Maria's place, she is a consummate hostess. We also booked a ride to and from the airport with her. Again her communication was outstanding and everything went flawlessly. I highly recommend Maria and everything she is involved with. She clearly knows this business well.

Maria’s nice care

It was really comfortable and very nicely decorated. The host was super kind and helpful.

Can't complain about anything.

I stayed in Maria apartament with my wife just for one night. We found incredibly prepared table with breakfast (eggs,few different peanut butters!!!, breads etc). In the fridge was fresh vegetables and sandwiches for the trip!!!! Next to the bed waiting two glasses of limoncello!!!! I never experienced so pleasant place with huge variety of food… Thank you Maria❤️

It is like your own home. Very cosy and lovely. We loved it. The apartment was filled with love. Maria very helpful - We were sad because we couldn't meet. :-( Maybe next time. We thank everything. With kind regards Attila & Ibolya Informations: It is only a room with shared bathroom, kitchen, and living room. You cant go there from the airport by walk only with community transportation (train+bus) or with uber (this is the cheaper way) or you have to rent a car. It is close to the airport. (10 min by car) Uber 10-12 euro from the airport and 12-15 euro from the apartmen to the airport.

The place is very cosy and warm, the bed is comfortable. Maria is an amazingly helpful host, she has prepared sandwiches for us for early departure. The amenities were excellent.

The apartment is shared but it did not cause us any trouble.

Everything!!! Maria is an exceptional person. She went way beyond regular hosts.

Very clean and tidy, good and varied breakfast, comfortable sleep. A ten minute drive from the airport.

Everything was perfect, the apartment beautiful and warm. Nice decoration and furniture. Maria was responding immediately.

The breakfast was amazing for a vegetarian and gluten free tourist. Marcia is very welcoming and nice.

Maria was lovely and the apartment was clean and tidy. She prepared a tasty breakfast for us and was available when we needed her.

Property was named Maria's double room with absolutely no indication that this is a room within an apartment and that the other room could be occupied by a another guest. Also, it was not stated that there is one shared bathroom, so we were led to believe we were renting the entire apartment. Now I can see owner changed the name of the property and clarified that the rooms all have a shared bathroom. Also, note that the rooms are tiny and barely have any space for luggage etc.

The property was very neat and clean and with well kept amenities. It felt like staying in your own home. Maria, the owner had given specific instructions to the pint as to how to enter the flat with key access and had set the table for early morning breakfast. The kitchen, room and toilets had everything one would need in a home stay. Overall it was very relaxing stay as we had a connecting flight early morning with 12 hrs transit. She had arranged pick up and drop for 55€ from airport.

The room was little smaller for a family of 3 although, but that’s what one will get in a home stay.

Maria was very warm and welcoming, meeting me at the airport (on two occasions). Maria provided sufficient breakfast foods from which one could choose. The area us quiet and the rooms are a good size and spotlessly clean.

I had communicated with owner prior to booking. It was not clarified that there were 2 rooms in the home for different guests and that we were to have a shared bathroom. I asked about transportation and she said that they offered transportation to the airport. At no point did she tell me that there was a cost. When I contacted her from the airport she said it was Euro 55 roundtrip to her property. Since it was a suburban location we did not know how far it was and if cabs went there. We had little choice but to accept the deal. The ride was 10 minutes each way. Total rip off. There was no coffee machine, just some sugar based instant packet of hot drink. The bed needs to be replaced.
