Reviews of Mystic Garden Apartments

It is very close to bakery, markets and pharmacy store (3 min, by foot). The houses are inside nice garden with two pavilions for enjoying the company chit chat during the night. Each apartment has its own large terrace.

Low pressure in the water installation. Small shower cabin. Low (old) and not so comfortable beds.

The air condition not getting cold enough

Very tidy and cozy accommodations and elegant garden view environment. Host was very kind, helpful and generous, we were overjoyed to tast fresh and flavorous oranges produced in garden.

It is a plus to improve shower usablity.

The owners are really nice: they made sure we are able to find an apartment, as we were a bit lost; they also kind of tried to fix WiFi cause it wasn’t working. The location is good if you have a car, else, you would need to walk into the city center, which is a 15min walk. They also have a garden, so I was able to harvest some mint for a mint tea, which was nice! The apartment was clean and our cleaning lady did a good job, I’d say. They also have grill facilities, which we didn’t use. They have free parking. Supermarket and a bakery nearby. Fully equipped kitchen, kettle, microwave, stove, coffee machine etc.

Wifi didn’t work most of the time, shower was really really small and actually requires renovations. The apartment wasn’t cleaned first 4 days, we stayed for 7 nights and it was cleaned again on the last day of our stay, which was a bit strange. We didn’t need a clean up but I just found that to be a strange cleaning schedule. Actually, the largest problem was indeed the shower. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures of that shower.

We had a great time. The hosts, the garden, the location, parking, room everything was really good! it was very clean, they changed sheets/towels and cleaned as per schedule and were quite polite. We had all amenities needed and definitely recommend staying here. You have a quiet garden to relax, safe place for your car and big garden to get anything (unfortunately, we did not try, even though they were so kind to offer! )

What we did not like is shower was too small, but that is typical in most places we visited across Greece. Also, A/C was a bit noisy and was cooling off only living area - bedroom area was feeling too hot even with AC on. Lastly, Wi-fi was not working for us for 5 out of 8 days. They were actively seeking ways to fix it, but even after fixing it, connection was inconsistent. Not the most important thing, when you are on beach holiday, but important to mention for people who are travelling outside EU. Overall, these things cannot take away the great feeling that we are left with and we will definitely visit again when we come to Zakynthos.

The staff who looked after the garden and cleaned the apartments were very kind and helpful. The host replied to our questions fast and gave us good tips about the island. There is a small vegetable garden behind the apartments from which guests can pick various vegetables.

Really nice apartments near the city centre, with a beautiful garden. The apartment is really comfortable and feels like home. It is fully equipped with everything that you would need. There was even homemade olive oil in the kitchen and we could pick vegetables from the garden behind the house. Christina, is the nicest host we’ve met! She told us about ways to explore the island and gave us lots of tips.
