Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaNot a dislike, but there are small steep steps to access the property, but are manageable.
The location was excellent. Sunsets are spectacular. Just a unique property. The property owner went out of his way to help us with transport and local information. Local restaurants also deliver food to Klima.

United StatesMy adult daughter and I stayed here for our first international mom-daughter trip and we absolutely loved it! The AC unit worked really, really well though we didn't really need it. I brought a Sea to Summit clothesline to hang our hand-washed delicates and swimsuits out to dry, but they have a clothes drying rack outside. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean every night was priceless. The host was extremely attentive and checked in on us via the Booking app a couple times to see if we needed anything. There's a little gift shop in one of the adjacent boathouses that had locally-made items that I was able to purchase souvenirs from. To get there, we rented a car from the ferry port, but you could take a taxi. When we arrived, the host was waiting for us at the little church nearby just as he said he would. He carried our carryon luggage to the 2nd floor boathouse. The unit was extremely clean. Slightly rustic, that's what we were expecting. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. The boathouse looks recently remodeled, clean paint on the walls, clean floors, and the bathroom was clean. The shower water gets hot and had great flow. The beds weren't the most comfortable for side-sleeping, but they provide extra blankets which helped. I just slept on my back. The pillows were great too. Honestly, listening to the mild surf crashing outside our door put me right to sleep. In fact, one morning we slept in, haha. Some tourists do walk by in the evenings to take pictures of the beautiful sunset but it didn't bother me one bit. Everyone was cheerful, polite, and quiet. We didn't try the restaurant within walking distance but it looked romantic. If you book here and you like to have drinks in the evening, there's a grocery store within 10 minutes (?) where you can purchase wine, food items, etc.

Australiathe beds/pillows aren't very comfortable, and the kitchen isn't very well equipped.
We had a great stay, its the absolute best location to stay in. The host was also really helpful in recommending boat tours and local things to do.

TurkeyGives a new meaning to "on the water" as you may need to get your feet wet to climb into this beautiful spot on the Klima coast. Unrivaled sunset and the benefit of falling asleep to the sound of waves. Owner is very kind, helpful and thorough.

United Kingdomwe had a fabulous time here staying for 3 nights we loved sitting on our own balcony listening to the sea there is only one restaurant here so we went there every night but having lunch on our balcony from bits we brought with us be aware there are no shops here so if like us you don’t have a car bring what you need with you . you should book the restaurant as it does get very busy especially around sunset , you can also buy water here to take back to your room the sunsets here are amazing but be aware lots of people visit for it but was so nice being able to relax here there are places you can swim with lovely clear sea when a ferry goes past be aware that the waves come in and you see people getting caught out as the sea comes right in also it is very slippery be careful as we saw a couple of people slip over the host meets you by the church and helps you with the luggage up the small steep stairs these can become slippery too we loved it here and the host was very friendly and helpful we requested change of towels and toilet rolls through the Booking.com message service and they came straight away we messaged him when we were ready to leave and he came and helped us with our luggage we then rang a taxi to take us back to the port we would stay here again it is near the restaurant some places were further away so might make it harder to get back later in the dark . for something different for you stay on milos great photos too but as said lots of people visit for that photo

Germanyeverything was good. I’m glad we were only there for two nights. I would recommend going to the store before arriving and stocking up on things you would like- water, wine, coffee, snacks. There is no coffee or coffee machine. There is one restaurant which opens at 9am that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner-It was okay. the location is beautiful! You are right on the water! with a beautiful sunset!
This location was great for a night or two. It looks just like the pictures. The property is very rustic and simple. great for young adults or those who are okay with very basic accommodations. Overall it was a fun experience!

United StatesThe beds and pillows were rock hard. I also understand that it’s a boat house so it may be a bit tougher to keep clean with the moisture but the bath curtain had evident mold on the bottom of it. This gave the bathroom a damn smell the whole time. If I am paying €350 euros a night changing the bathroom curtains everyone once in a while would be ideal. It just felt like you were paying for the view.
The views are unreal, beautiful little boathouse with its own balcony. You can swim right in front of the house if you want. The town of Klima is very picturesque, there are no stores around so bring your own food and snacks or go to the only restaurant in town which is just a short walk over. I only stayed for a night and I think that is enough time as there are many beautiful things to explore around the island.

QatarThe floor at the bottom of the stairs where sea waves hit, was a hazard. It was really hard to see people who came to watch the sunset completely oblivious of the slippery floor due to algae, slip and fall all the time. Personally, it made sitting outside a bit hard for me. They could and can scrub the floor... The room had bare minimum amenities, we expected better for a place charging 400 Euros a night. Perhaps because it was summer, thus overpriced. Parking is not guaranteed as it's shared with restaurants guests. We rented a car to explore the island and we were always forced to comeback very early or spend minimum 30 minutes in the car waiting for parking. Overall, it wasn't a serene and relaxing location for our needs. But it could be excellent for others.
The overall color scheme of the fishing village was very attractive. Sunset was perfect, and the sea started at the bottom of the stairs. The team was super responsive and even accommodated our requests soonest possible It's close to the Catacombs, a short hike from the village at the bottom - or can drive the longer route.
