Good hotel. Clean and with a large parking

In my opinion the only downside is that the rooms need renovation. There are renovated ones available but none were vacant during our stay.

The hotel is very close to the beach, you just need to cross the road. The breakfast was more than adequate, I honestly don’t understand those who complain about it as there were plenty of options including pastries and more at the open buffet. There was no issue finding a parking spot. There is also a Lidl supermarket right next to it. We stayed in a deluxe family room for two nights before heading to Halkidiki. The room was clean, spacious, had a balcony, and was cleaned the next day.

The area around it is a little dirty. Garbages between Lidl and Thalassa Hotel. We had kithen in the apartment. But it had only stove. No oven. Not even single spoon or fork. So we practically we could not use it.

I liked the location. Far from noice but close to the beach. The hotel itself is nice and clean.

The AC really didn't work. When it did come on, barely any air came out. The rooms aren't sound proof all the way, as I could hear the neighbors constantly dragging things across the floor and slamming their door.

The room was nice and spacious. The cleaning staff and front desk staff are great.

At our room, bathroom had lots of different hairs. They just provide 1 small soap and 1 small bottle of pink colour shower gel and that’s it, no shampoo no conditioner. To get into the shower was really complicated since it is right next to wash basin. Bed and pillows were so soft and while you are trying to turn on the bed, bed frame makes lots of noise. To be an honest, we decided to stay here for a night since which hotels we stay at the Alexandroupoli was fully booked. I hope, we will not need to stay here one more time.

Hospitality and the service of receptionist was good.

The bed. It was the best bed I have ever slept in my life in a hotel. I stayed in hundreds different hotels in all aorund the world but I was also suprised that this was the best one. Apart of that, this was the second time we stayed in this hotel. This time we stayed in the block at the restaurant side. The room was very clean and it was as if brand new. Maybe had a renovation. We did not buy breakfast because of our diet program so I can not comment. Personel is always amazing, cheerful and helpful. The location extraordinary for us because we mostly goes to Makri or Nea Hilly rather than central. However it is also close to central with 10 minutes ride.

The hotel is good for kids and a walking distance to a couple of good beaches with bars/cafes. It has a parking which is free for guests. Breakfast was good and is set within the garden - being surrounded by olive trees and oleander bushes when drinking your coffee is a nice touch. Staff speak several languages and are eager to assist with local queries I.e how to book to go to Thasos, where and when is the local farmer’s market etc. the hotel is a walkable distance to the city’s promenade which is lined with cute restaurants.

Poor breakfast menu and inconvenient breakfast hall. Facilities in general and the physical condition of the hotel building require renovation and improvement.

The shower cabin was indeed really small :(

Rich, fresh and tasty breakfast, very clean room, the cleaning ladies would take out the garbage daily, as well as swipe the floors.

The location of the hotel is good. Just 2 km to the city center. On the other hand it’s around 10 kö to the nice beach clubs of course you are able to go yo the beach just by crossing the street. Breakfast is average. Staff and management are very helpfull and smiling people. We had a family room which was big enough for us👍🏽. Room was clean and the beds were good enough to sleep. Aircondions works perfectly👌🏽.
