The hotel is perfect. Excellent location. You can even see the Acropolis from the terrace. In the room, I was welcomed with a bottle of a great Greek red wine and a complimentary minibar. The breakfasts were varied and of a very high standard. The best thing about the hotel is the kind staff. They always parked my car, taught me a few Greek phrases, gave me various recommendations regarding visits to Greek attractions and beaches. Most importantly, however, they allowed me a late check-out by two hours, completely free of charge. Excellent service. All praise. I have not enjoyed a hotel stay like this in a long time. 👍🙏👏

The hotel is very well marketed, it almost makes you believe it is a bit of a grand hotel, which is really not. The pool or shall I say tiny jacuzi on the roof is not useable much and is there more for effect then anything else.

Solid location for sightseeing around Athens, clean smaller size room, decent breakfast and caring staff.

The scenery from the top-floor room is fantastic. I used to check out the Parthenon from my window at different times of the day, bathed in different sunlight. The hotel is modern, very stylish and perfectly positioned within walking distance of everything, and yet away from the crowd. Staff members are very welcoming. There is always a nice treat and refreshment served in the reception hall. Breakfast is very nice - small samples of a large variety of very high-quality food. And the view from the restaurant!!!

The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. I even got sick during my stay, and the entire team was ready to help me. One of the staff members personally walked me to the car out of concern for my well-being. Also, the housekeeping lady on the fourth floor was so warm and caring—she immediately came to help me and dropped everything when I needed her. It was a truly wonderful and perfect stay. I felt safe, cared for, and completely at ease.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Very clean hotel with nice interior. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious equipped with comfortable beds and mattresses; the bathroom was also spacious and had a good shower. The breakfast room and bar are located on the upper level with a beautiful view of the Acropolis. Breakfast was good.

The checkout was at 11 am, which has been extended till 12, it would have been great if we could have a longer extension.

Our one-night stay at The Athenaeum (July 9th - 10th) was absolutely perfect. The hotel is ideally located for exploring Athens, making it incredibly convenient for a short trip. What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding staff. Every member we interacted with was incredibly supportive and helpful with any questions or clarifications we needed. A special shout-out to Emanuel, the guest relations manager, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience.

I wouldn't recommend being on the first level if you have sleep issues. The motorcycles were revving their engines at the stop light outside all night long. They moved us to a higher floor the next day.

Our stay at the Athenaeum Luxury Hotel was wonderful. The breakfast and the view from it were amazing, as were the rooms, cleanliness, and facilities, but where I think the hotel delivers above and beyond is the staff. We had a situation where one of our phones were lost in an Uber on the way to the hotel. Charles and Paschalis, who work the reception, were the main reason we were able to obtain our phone back. They went above and beyond for us, and for them we are truly grateful.
