We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

The amazing pool, everything we could possibly need was in the house. It was great to have the lounge as an extra bedroom.

United KingdomNothing.
Such a special place. The house was big enough but felt cosy too. The garden & pool area are stunning. Very private & relaxing. The host, Marilena, is a lovely lady and nothing is too much trouble.

United KingdomAmazing hosts! Amazing pool! Amazing house The hosts are fantastic. Great communications from the moment you book. The house has everything you need for a self catering stay. Aircon is great. Netflix on TV and a food welcome pack to name a few of the special touches. The garden!!! Absolutely terrific space. Very tranquil, several different zones and spaces to chill out and relax. The pool is fantastic, has a deep and shallow it's regularly cleaned and great sunbathing area. Lots of love and commitment has gone into making this home into a place that others can enjoy. The village of Dassia is small. It does have some nice restaurants but you are limited. However, the bus links are fantastic and right on the doorstep with old town only 25 mins away and a great town called Ipos only 10 mins in the opposite direction. There is plenty to do but you also have the space to stay home with privacy to relax. Finally the hosts offer a pick up service at very reasonable rate. It's not a favour, it's a professional business that will take you anywhere you need to go in comfort and style. Just ask for details after booking. This wonderful place comes with my highest recommendation.

RomaniaNo complaints
First of all, one cannot just rate the place without mentioning Marilena, the owner- she was very helpful before the arrival, providing all the infos upfront and always ready to answer to any questions; when we got there she greeted us with a goodie basket and also food and drinks in the fridge as we arrived late in the evening; during our stay she kept contact to make sure we are comfortable and we have everything we needed. The place and the garden are absolutely fabulous, the house itself is very cosy, perfectly clean ; the kitchen and bathrooms have all the amenities and provided with whatever one might need to feel at home.. the private pool just for ourselves was the nicest place to refresh during the day and relax in the evening..also both the cleaning lady and the guy that came to clean the pool and water the garden every 2 days are very discreet and nice people . Plenty of nice tavernas with great food, beach, supermarket, bus station, taxi station, all you need is just walking distance from the house, airport at 20 min ride. 10/10; we will be back for sure next year.

United KingdomThe road at the front of the house was quite busy but this was not really a problem for us.
The house was in an excellent location within easy walking distance of the beach, supermarkets and a wide choice of restaurants and bars. Bus stop to Corfu town was 2 minutes walk. The house was immaculately clean. The host was friendly and extremely helpful and she provided a very generous welcome package. The house itself was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay.l The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was very effective. The outdoor area was beautiful with a good size pool with plenty of sunloungers abd shades. The garden was a welcome green space and had lots of fruit trees. There was a barbecue, which we didn't use, and 2 different covered areas for dining.

United KingdomThe traffic noise was very loud, especially at night. We used the lounge as a 3rd bedroom, and the noise was unbearably loud, so I would definitely recommend bringing a good set of ear plugs if anyone is planning on using the lounge as a 3rd bedroom.
The house was really nicely furnished and had everything we needed (and more). The host was great, and was always on hand to answer any questions or offer suggestions. The pool area was unbelievably nice and the garden was lovely and big. All-in-all, a great villa at a really good price.

United KingdomWe had a great time at The Red House as a family of four. The pool and garden are amazing and exceptionally well-maintained, and the added benefit of private use is really good. There are plenty of places to relax in the sun or shade and everybody enjoyed using the idyllic pool. Inside the house there is absolutely everything one might need, with very effective air con in the bedrooms and lounge. The internal layout works really well; in fact the sofa bed in the lounge can be used as a third bedroom (it's set through a couple of arches away from the kitchen dining area, with it's own access to one of the bathrooms, and has a little dressing room for privacy). The location of the property is superb with Dassia beach a few minutes walk, buses and hire cars on the doorstep, and an abundance of restaurants (the ones on Dassia beach are a beautiful setting). Our host was very kind and maintained great communication both before and during our stay so we had no concerns about accessing the house or finding our local information. We would certainly recommend to our friends and family.

SlovakiaFirst of all, the host is exceptional. We never experienced such great hosting before. She takes extra steps to make her guests comfortable. Red House is a great place with its garden, location, and host's hospitality. The entire house was immaculately clean. The garden is exceptional with a swimming pool. There are lots of great restaurants within walking distance. The beach is pretty close to Red House, but it was not our preferred one. However, if you feel the same, no worries, there are many nice beaches within a short driving distance.

RomaniaThere is anything I disliked at this location.
I liked everything at this location, it is a very good placed green paradise with the nicest hosts I experienced until now. I will start with the location - the beach (Dassia beach) is very close 5 mins walk; if other beaches are targeted on the rest of the island, it's also quite facile to reach them from Red House Dassia (30-40 mins to the beaches on the vest/nord-vest coast of the island, around 1 hour to the south- beaches, by car). The place itself is so nice, the entire garden, 2 terraces and a pool just for yourself, everything is green and the moment you step from the street in the garden you can feel a temperature difference. The house beautiful arranged, with taste and attention to details, the kitchen well equipped with everything you need, bedrooms have air conditioner and the living room very pleasant place to stay if the heat outside is hard to bear. The host, Marilena, didn't know what to do to ensure us a most pleasant stay, she was a very helpful guide for beaches and taverns in Crofu, but also for other places to visit.

United KingdomTraffic can be busy in front of the house so there is some road noise in the front garden but it is quiet inside the house, on the rear terrace where we ate, and in the garden.
The house is a charming, cosy, well furnished and well appointed family home and Marilena, the kind and delightful owner, had left for us a generous welcoming basket of goodies. She was always ready to help throughout our stay, was an absolute delight, and even came back specially to say goodbye before we left for the airport. Wonderful hospitality! The large private, well-tended garden with pool was a green oasis with trees, bushes and flowers - we loved it! Dassia has a lovely beach just 6 minutes walk from the house and you can dine at the water's edge, overlooking the beautiful bay. There is a great bus service to Corfu Town from outside the house and car hire and taxis are readily available. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars all within walking distance and Corfu Town itself is brilliant! Thank you, Marilena, we loved our stay at the Red House!

United KingdomAn absolute gem of a property in a fabulous location. Marilena has created beautiful secluded retreat in bustling Dassia. The beach, cafes, restaurants, bars and stores are all on your doorstep but behind the gates to the Red House you have your own hidden oasis - its the best of both worlds. In the morning we would go two doors down to get our freddo espresso and pastries to have in the picturesque garden. At night the first stop was one of the local tavernas before walking down the beach to a lively bar for a cocktail, both bedrooms are at the back of the house so we would return to have a quiet, peaceful nights sleep. The rest of the day it was hard to leave the pool but it was made easier with Corfu town and many other beautiful beaches a short drive away. Marilena and her team are so lovely and helpful but they make sure you have total privacy during your stay. We will definitely be returning!

AustraliaWe didn’t have anything that we didn’t like about the property. We did use the sofa bed in the living room and traffic in early morning could wake up a light sleeper.
Everything about The Red House was brilliant. The pool, garden and outdoor spaces were exceptional with loads of seating and dining space as well as a BBQ which was as good as any modern kitchen. The inside is charming, very well presented and spotless with all the mod cons you would expect including air con which was a good escape on some of the hotter days. It is very obvious the care and love that Marilena and her family have put into this property.

United KingdomThe bathrooms. Very dated the second shower room was in need of an update. Every time we showered we had to mop the floor as the shower curtains did not touch the base of the shower plus we had to hold the shower spray and cold water streamed out of the bottom part of the shower mechanism.
Location, outside space, host was excellent and very helpful to recommend restaurants and places to visit. Very generous welcome pack and property was very clean.
