Incredible location. Vasilikos is an amazing accommodation with the best view.. The staff is amazing. Vanessa who is now in charge was at our disposal all the time for anything we needed, as was Christos and the rest of the team. We will definitely visit it in the future. Personally it has the best sunset with a view of the volcano Thirassia and the caldera of Imerovigli and from below the cruise ships.

I loved how private this property is despite being a short walk to town. Felt truly secluded and so romantic with so many nice touches throughout. The plunge pools were fantastic and it's the best spot to catch a sunset. The staff at the property are a true class act who go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. The candle lit dinner served private on our terrace was so lovely and some of the best food we had on the trip. We loved every second.

Can't recommend The Vasilicos enough. We had a fantastic stay & have already booked again for next year. Location is perfect with easy access to everywhere. The rooms, pool, views & services outstanding. Do not think twice about booking here for your stay in Santorini!

Not a fault of the property, but reminder that TP can’t be flushed on the island due to the sewage infrastructure.

Really great location separate from the hustle and bustle of Oia and Fira, but still close enough to Fira. Dimitris and co were incredibly welcoming and helped us book experiences and gave us good dining suggestions. Beautiful view, and our room (Efta) was right along the edge, a little scary but breathtaking. Breakfast was filling and delicious.

I did a three week trip through Greece that ended in Santorini at The Vasilicos, which rightly saved the best for last. It is a unique place where you immediately feel at home, not least because of the fantastic staff who really think of everything and do everything to give you an unforgettable time. An unforgettable five days it have become, each one ending at the edge of the pool with the red-golden sunset over the caldera. The Vasilicos is a place that lets you bathe in luxury and gives you a feel for the traditions and history of Santorini as well. Highly recommended!

Amazing boutique hotel, with extremely well maintained. Views are better than the photos show. Dimitris will take care of you and organise anything you need, Chris also was always there for anything we needed for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Nothing, it was perfect!

We had the absolute best experience here. Every single staff member is so friendly and attentive! The food was fantastic - the breakfast was healthy, with special treats that varied each morning. The Aegean meze was one of the best meals we had on our entire two week trip. The room was beautiful and comfortable, with one of the best views on the island. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here!

Not at all significant, but the rooms are literally caves dug into rock. No windows, only the light from doorway enters the room. Wish there were more options for access to the island. A ferry strike stranded us for one day in Paris. As a result we had to pay an extra night there plus the scheduled night at the Vasilicos. No fault of the hotel, who required full payment in advance, but disappointing that we were charged full price for a missed night due to a strike.

Fantastic views from the hillside overlooking the port. Walking distance to town. Friendly and supportive staff.

Outside of the crowded and noisy places which is perfect to relax and enjoy the view on the Caldera. Easy walks to Fira and Imerovigli villages. Very friendly staff which is always here to help and serve us. Very good breakfast which they make depending on your diet. I had a very good stay.

Literally nothing!

The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful. The breakfast was out of this world. The views were unmatched. I have never been so relaxed during a stay at a hotel. Make sure to ask for a massage!! I cannot recommend the Vasilicos enough.

The hotel is below a popular sunset spot ,might lose little privacy but it didnt bother us too much as i saw othe hotels more exposed to the walking tourists

There is a certain lack of privacy that was not well advertised. And ours was one of the more private suites in the complex.

The Vasilicos is a beautiful property and typical of what you should expect for the price and location. We stayed in the Pergola Suite and it was luxurious, clean and very well serviced. The service we received from all staff was exceptional but we would like to call out the work of Dimitris, Chris and the chef in particular. So responsive and accommodating!! We loved the pool as well, I spent hours in there.

Nothing to not like.

Breakfast was well balanced and taiilored to our preferences, brought to our patio at requested time. The fresh fruit platter was perfect. Privacy of the property was amazing allowing for enjoyment of the views (daytime and sunset) without the crowds. We stayed in the Daphne suite and especially enjoyed the shower with a view of the Caldera and having 2 separatw sinks. Restaurants, markets and boutiques were walking distance away. The restaurant adjacent to the property was great if you did not feel like walking far. Staff was attentive to out requests and took great care in maintaining the property. Rental car was brought to us and catamaran cruise arrangements were taken care of by the staff.

The Vasilicos in Santorini is an extraordinary hotel that exceeded all our expectations. The breathtaking views of the caldera are simply unforgettable. We loved the delicious breakfasts, prepared with fresh ingredients, and enjoyed it on our private terrace overlooking the caldera.
