Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The view and location were divine. The accommodation was a short walk to great restaurants and the view from the balcony in the evening was spectacular. Most people journey to Symi for a day and we felt privileged to have stayed overnight, it was a great decision and the accommodation was lovely. The bathroom was also spacious and luxurious. Thank you for a lovely stay.

United KingdomI liked everything about the room. The decoration and layout is really good, lots of snacks, drinks and other treats available. The balcony and view of the harbour is perfect. Close to shops, bars, restaurants. Room cleaned and restocked with food and drinks everyday. Panos is a very good host, I'm sure if he was able to do so he would meet you outside your own home and transport you to Thea himself. Panos and his family run a lovely guesthouse in Symi; one of the best places I've ever stayed at.

United KingdomWe have travelled quite a lot and Thea was one of our favourite (likely the number one) accommodation places. We are (have to admit) quite picky with the cleaning and we thought it was perfect. In many hotels you can tell it’s apparently clean but not really properly clean and hygienic. Thea felt like it was cleaned the way you would clean at home. Also the little details made a difference. It had all a guest would need in a hotel room. Bathroom with plenty of towels rails and hooks (that many hotels lack and it’s very convenient and practical), little blackout curtains for the small windows on the door, enough space on the closet/drawers, iron and board, sleepers, even a little sponge to clean your shoes… A table to have breakfast on the balcony bit also another little table inside in case the weather is not good or to work, read, write… Comfortable beds, linen… Practical little kitchen office (no stove) with fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, etc. Stocked daily with food for breakfast. We felt it was managed with love, all the kitchen utensils and tableware you may need for breakfast or snacks (but very well thought, not like many apartments where there are useless utensils and then basic ones missing), eggs already boiled in the fridge, homemade cookies, all the basics you can need for breakfast and even water bottles provided daily. The location is perfect (if you can climb up some stairs, which is almost mandatory to explore Symi), awesome views almost first line on the harbour, looking to the other side and the colourful little houses. Both sides are extremely pretty ao we couldn’t choose. Panos was very kind and helpful and made our stay feel more personal and human, not the typical hotel room. Thanks Panos! It was very nice to meet you! Symi is one of the most beautiful villages we have ever seen. We will always remember it and we hope we can come back and stay longer :) All the best, Panos! United KingdomSome steps but if you are unable to deal with steps Symi is not the place to come. Fabulous views from village above and local bus to village and Pedi beach 4 euro return. Monastery bus 10 euro return.
Superb location overlooking the harbour and next to all the main restaurants and shops. Any issues are dealt with swiftly and great customer service. Premium rate but justified by the quality of the accommodation. Highly Recommended.

IsraelEverything is very good, There is no common area for rest and refreshment after check out which is at 11:00, but one can leave his belongiging until departure and get any help, the food options are a bonos and thanks for that. For us it was too sweets .
Central location near the port but qiuet, magnifisent view, very clean, tidy and polished, its acsually a nice flat, you get there everything you need and more in the highest quality, Good suggestions to experience symi from the owner.

CanadaThere is no handle in the door so the key needs to be in the lock to enjoy the patio or else you are locked out.
Everything was so beautiful and the staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend them to meet you at the ferry terminal to show you the way to the accommodation.
