The hosts were wonderfully kind, the breakfast every morning was delivered to our door and we are on our deck overlooking the caldera and the rooms are unique, clean, and perfect for us. The deck and hot tub were just perfect. It was an outstanding hotel and we would highly recommend it

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, with a breathtaking view from the balcony!

The bathtub was old and had some cracks, which made it a bit uncomfortable to use.

What an amazing place, the view is beautiful and ever changing, our room was immaculate and very well furnished. Our terrace and plunge pool were quietly cleaned every morning. A huge thank you has to go to everyone from the porter, to our very friendly housekeeping lady and the lady who brought our lovely breakfast every morning to the fabulous Anastasia who truly could not do enough for us. You all made my 60th birthday unforgettable in such a beautiful place. As in previous reviews if you’re flicking through trying to compare places to stay, stop here it’s the best place we have ever stayed in, and we intend to come back!

Absolutely nothing.

This is a truly amazing hotel. The staff maintained excellent communication with us, ensuring our travel plans were well taken care of, allowing us to arrive with ease and peace of mind. Upon arrival, they provided helpful recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. We’re especially grateful to Porter for his assistance, which made us feel completely at ease. The hotel room was incredibly spacious, with breathtaking and serene views. The jacuzzi was absolutely stunning, and the breakfast offered a rich and delicious variety. Our experience here was so delightful that we didn’t want to leave. We sincerely appreciate the outstanding service, and **when we return to Oia, we will definitely choose to stay here again.

Steps!

The property was in a perfect spot right in Oia close to everything. The hotel room was big with a beautiful view, nice bed, living room and shower. The best part was the hostess, Anastasia. She was there to help with whatever we needed at really any point throughout the day. Not only things we needed at the hotel, but recommendations on what to avoid and where to go from a local perspective. Our trip wouldn’t have been a 10/10 without her. She’s the best employee a business can have. She had solutions for everything and mad vacationing so easy. I highly recommend staying here not only because of the great room, great view and great location but mainly because you have a friend at the front desk willing to help and go out of her way for anything.

Lots of steps to get to the hotel, however, you wouldn’t have that great of view and privacy without walking down the steps. So worth it.

The place is amazing—especially the staff. Anastasia made our stay even better. She was incredibly attentive and always available, answering any questions promptly. She went above and beyond to help us, even booking our dinner reservations. Truly incredible.

The water runs out while you’re showering. If you’re the type who enjoys long, hot showers, this might be a bit annoying. It takes about 20 minutes to heat up after pressing a button, but the hot water doesn’t last long enough for an extended shower.

The most perfect stay! Thirea Suites has the best location in Oia. Amazing views ( really amazing! ), big and very comfortable room and in a very quiet spot ,away from the crowds. And most important: they have Anastasia. She’s the best hostess you can get.she gives you all support you need with a unique kindness . Thanks , Anastasia and all the staff! My warmest regards!

We loved the hospitality (the undivided attention, the details explained), Anastasia was so friendly, always answered our questions and advised on the best places to go to, especially restaurants. The view from our room was magnificent, privacy guaranteed, the tranquility! The breakfast was delicious, variety of fresh items served everyday at our chosen time, on our balcony, also prepared breakfast for us on arrival as we flew in early morning. The room set up, cleanliness and the comfort could make you stay in bed all day. We absolutely enjoyed the jacuzzi.

Everything was so perfect. We will not mind coming back and stay there. Even the many stairs helped keeping us fit 😀.

Location was awesome, it had the right amount of privacy w/o compromising on the views. The Breakfast service was very personable and staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.

We should have stayed longer in the property. We had a lot of excursion planned every day, so didn't stay in the property for long. They have beautiful location and in the middle of everything but still secluded. Next time we plan to explore a bit more of what the property has to offer.

The view was absolutely amazing. The room was great, very spacious room and bathroom as well. Even had a little kitchenette with fridge, sink, all of the essentials. The jacuzzi was a nice addition. I really appreciated the big balcony/terrace and the privacy walls between the rooms - this is not a given in Santorini and a lot of balconies have nice views but no privacy and a lot of people walk past or you have to sit next to your neighbours. Our room was the middle one on the lower area and I really recommend this one. Great location, in the start of the main ''shopping street'', but in the end of the car road so the taxi was able to drop us off very close. The service was super, the lady in the reception room (I didn't get her name) was very accommodating. She gave a lot of recommendations for restaurants and helped us book some tables. We really liked Melitini (more casual lunch spot, greek tapas, nice wine, affordable), Candouni (good food, very cosy courtyard with live music most days) and Hassapiko (very cool bar, great service, great drinks, we went 2 times). A recommendation she didn't give but I want to give myself: Lolita's Gelato (homemade, absolutely delicious gelato, especially the strawberry! I went 3!!! times and we stayed for 4 days...) Sorry, I went off topic a bit. Very kind and helpful service in the hotel. She even let us check out several hours later last day because nobody was coming to the room this day. If we ever go back to Santorini, we will stay in Thirea again. I could stay in this room for weeks!

Breakfast was like what I eat at home - eggs, bread, yoghurt, granola. It was nice enough but nothing spectacular. The eggs were different every morning - omelette (this was good), just fried eggs (too runny for my taste) etc. Maybe it would be nice to ask the visitors what kind of eggs they want - wouldn't be too difficult but might make the breakfast a little more special. And also, the coffee was filter coffee, I think. It would be amazing if they could invest in a proper coffee machine, I'm sure the visitors would appreciate it. Othewise everything was amazing. Oh, a lot of quite steep stairs! If you are coming to Santorini, this is what you get anyway. But there certainly are hotels with less stairs. Didn't bother me really but if this is something that puts you off, it's good to know. Obviously, everything else made up for those things and I still happily rate the place with 10 stars.

Amazing views, great location

We loved our stay here. The views are unbeatable, you can enjoy the hot tubs in privacy from the neighbours, and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The location is brilliant as you are right in the middle of all the bars and restaurants. We could ask them to look into anything for us and they did it. Couldn’t recommend Thirea Suites more highly.

There are 100 stairs from our room to the top but we were happy for the exercise, plus the porter helps you with your bags too and from your room. He was a legend.

The breakfast was creative and varied daily and always fresh and a great start. The ambience on the Caldera added to the taste and atmosphere. Anastasia took care of our every need. Our porter provided a wonderful service to navigate our luggage from beginning to end.

We were saddened to complete our stay and would love to return if opportunity permits.
